A dialogue between philosopher Peter S. Williams and theologian Lars Dahle on the contemporary relevance of the apostle Paul's court case reported in Acts 26. The dialogue took place in a meeting of the International Christian Fellowship meeting, at Misjonshuset in Kristiansand, Norway, on 18th October 2022.   Peter S. Williams is Assistant Professor in Communication and Worldviews at NLA University College and an accomplished author. Simon wird mit 16 Jahren Mitglied einer Freikirche. Er fühlt sich sicher, angenommen, so wie er ist. Bis er ein halbes Jahr später merkt: Ich glaube, ich bin schwul. Und sofort ist da die Frage: Findet Gott das okay? Innerhalb der Kirche bekommt Simon die Rückmeldung: Nein, wir glauben Gott hat da eine andere Vorstellung. Und ihm wird ein Berater empfohlen, der mit ihm über seine Sexualität spricht. 8 Jahre lang geht Simon zu den Gesprächen, deren Ziel es ist, seine Sexualität zu verändern. Von schwul zu hetero. Was dieser Kampf mit sich selbst für Spuren hinterlassen hat und warum Simon immer noch Teil genau dieser Kirche ist, das erfahrt ihr in dieser Folge. Übrigens sind Konversionstherapien bei Minderjährigen und bei Volljährigen, deren Einwilligung auf einem Willensmangel (z.B. Andreas Kyriacou spoke at the International Christian Fellowship in Limassol, Cyprus. Sharing on the importance on the development of our spiritual senses.

This weekend we welcomed Rick Pasquale as he shared God's word with us. Rick serves as a missionary to Italy and is the lead Pastor of the International Christian Fellowship of Rome. It is his vision to break barriers of religion, expand the outreach to over one million immigrants, and build a Lifeskills/Resource center for rescued, abused, and trafficked victims.

Our series on our values continues with a look at Jesus' Great Commission (Mt 28:16-20). We hear from speakers from three outreach-focused ministries that we currently support: Scott Thomson from Cru, Jon Alumbaugh from International Christian Fellowship, and Rob Johnston from YoungLife.
