In our last Christmas movie of the month, the gang covered the Arnold movie that no one revisits: Jingle all the Way. There’s a reason why no one watches this movie… Few things to cover: Is Arnold the Mattress King of Minneapolis? Can Arnold or Max pronounce Minneapolis correctly? We watched the 1994 summer blockbuster, True Lies, and we can’t wait to talk about it. Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Austrian god of action movies, and James Cameron team up again in this James Bondesque action comedy and the results are nothing short of magical. It is a fun ride and well worth your time if you have not seen it yet. If only there was an alternate reality in which we got four True Lies movies and zero Avatar movies. What kind of salary is Harry getting from Omega Sector? Has Harry been a spy that gets involved in the types of shootouts that the movie opens with for 17 years and never been injured in a way that would make Helen or Dana question his work life? Is Arnold supposed to be a sex symbol in real life or in the movie? Is Simon the sleaziest used car salesman in cinema history? Picking up where we left off, the gang and I continue to speculate the reason for the shows inconsistencies or unexplained plots. William aka Man in Black getting shot up, digging a hole in his arm without flinching, strongly suggests he’s a host! Jeffrey Wright one of the best actors around.  But Bernard seems too easy to be controlled.  Will we see Bernard in control more in season 3? Is Arnold’s story complete?  Is Bernard finishing his story? Bernard and Deloris linked relationship Charlottes secret weapon in Clementine. Tessa Thompson acting was incredible when she became Deloris. Any chance Elsie can come back?. Stubbs a Host of surprises! :D So where was that scanner? Nils Allen "Booboo" Stewart Jr. – played the young son in Ghost Nation, Ellie Collins worked with him when they were 18 yrs old. Shogun World and Ghost Nation was such a tease!!

I thought it would be unanimous, but obviously, The Clintoris and The Guch are idiots. Hahaha. Arnold’s Best Line of Dialogue Arnold Schwarzenegger is no doubt the King of One-Liners. So we just had to talk about all his best lines. Battle Royale with Cheese: Tournament of Characters This was pretty fun. The Clintoris gathered 16 of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s top characters, and The Guch and I randomly drew names while we pitted the characters against each other in a bracketed tournament. Is Arnold a Good Actor? If Arnold is the greatest action star, Who took over the mantle? Anyone? Did Arnold’s accent hinder his career?

One unexpected brain-dump of Westworld mythology later and now we have Arnold. With him comes tons of new questions like: Is the Man In Black somehow related to Arnold? Is Arnold a first name or a last name? Is Arnold like a ghost in the machine presence in Westworld? Did Ford tell the whole truth about Arnold? Immediately, I'm reminded of Jacob from LOST. For a looong time, Jacob existed only in the shadows, speaking through others (sound familiar?). We had to watch all the way to just about the end of the final season before we got the entire backstory on the guy. It's unknown with only 3 episodes in the can whether or not Westworld is a show that condones entire-show flashbacks or not, so we may never get a filmed version of "This Is What Arnold Did". I hope we DO get some corroborated info from some other sources on Arnold though. Ford seems like the kind of guy that takes Obi-wan Kenobi's "truth from a certain point of view," from Return of the Jedi and RUNS with it. Honesty, but not the whole story. Quick recap of where the main characters wound up: Bernie: Bad day at work, found out about Arnold, and decided NOT to reset Delores' programming. Also, has a dead son. Sad. Delores: Starting to overcome programming limitations, but it's having a bad effect on her mind. She winds up in William and Logan's camp. Being able to pull that trigger, no matter where you think the gun came from, was pretty huge. Teddy: All the sudden, he's got a nemesis: Wyatt. Too bad Wyatt and his been don't seem to be affected by bullets. Ford: His agenda became muddied for me this week. Last week I thought he was trying to expand the hosts beyond their programming through reveries and possibly introducing religion. This week he demonstrated is ardent belief that hosts are machines capable of nothing more than their programming allows. At least we have his Arnold story to noodle on this week. William: Got into the swing of things and killed a host! Hooray for robo-cide! We try and dig into the bicameral mind stuff and other questions this week, so have a listen!
