Michael and Samantha go at it while Randy helplessly listens to them argue. In this episode the team talks about Moon directed by Duncan Jones and starring Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey. Michael likes it, Samantha and Randy have mixed feelings about it.

Michael, Samantha and Randy discuss which movies to watch for the next two months. It takes some heated debating and arguing by they do figure it out. This time Michael picks the New Release film followed by Samantha deciding on a theme based on that film. Then Randy picks a film and Samantha pick a movie for the final turn. Samantha and Michael discuss I Am Mother (2019) a Netflix released sci fi film shot and produced in Australia. Staring Rose Byrne, Hilary Swank, Clara Rugaard and Luke Hawker. The film is about a young woman who has been raised by a robot mommy in a post apocalyptic world when a woman from the outside comes in and stirs up some trouble. The film encourages our two hosts to get pretty philosophical about abortions, the environment, our childrens future and whether Samantha wants to kill all human life or not. Randy is out on this one so it's up to Michael and Samantha to finally do an episode the right way. The season 2 finale of Barry, episode Berkman > Block. Our hosts really love this show and wanted to make a bonus episode about it. They discuss the cinematography, acting, story arch and much more. They basicaly nerd out about this show starying Bill Hader and Henry Winkler.

Randy and Samantha talk about the finale of Game of Thrones and give their thoughts on the final season of the show! Who died, who didn't die and how did we feel about that? Michael, Samantha and Randy saw Avengers: Endgame for the 50th episode of their podcast! All them had fun over the last year except for one (Randy obviously because he's a whiny b****) and we hope you had fun with us along the way. Lost in space and low on supplies, Stark and Nebula are running low on oxygen. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner -- try to figure out a way to bring back their friends and have fisticuffs with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.      

Bonus Episode! If you're looking for great insights on Game of Thrones you've come to the wrong place! Samantha and Randy watch and love Game of Thrones and Michael has no idea what the hell is going on. Listen in as Michael feels the need to talk even though he has nothing to say about the show at all. A new theme for the next two months! Randy picks the new release film, Michael picks the theme based on that film, Samantha pick the second film, Michael the third and the listeners decide on the fourth and final film. The next theme is "Rainy Films". This could mean a film with rain in the title or as a character name or filmmakers. It could be a movie with rain in it or in an important scene. Listeners choice and feel free to think outside of the box. We slumber, we party all night long!

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a bad ass yet surprisingly fatherly robot sent from the future to protect a young John Conner. Robert Patrick is also a robot who is faster and sexier in many ways, but he wants to kill John Conner. Basically this is one big love/murder triangle between two robots and some kid.  Michael, Randy and guest host Madison discuss some of the best chase scenes, action scenes and death scenes in film. Michael is angry because this is the 3rd time he's had to type this because his computer sucks! Bambi! That classic Disney film from 1942 about a young deer trying to learn about life. Michael, Randy and Samantha go back in time when animals could talk and skunks had names like "Flowers". The questions on everyone's mind is, Will Bambi ever walk correctly again? Our three hosts watch Serenity, but not the sci-fi one. This one has Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in it. McConaughey plays a fishing boat captain with a mysterious past (our theme of course) and he has to decide on whether to help his ex kill her husband for a shit ton of money or not. Plus there is plenty of Shirtless McConaughey and pantless as well! We also talk about the two Fyre Festival documentaries that were recently released at the same time by Netflix and Hulu. It's our second week of Christmas films that aren't Christmassy and we go back to 1984 for our cult classic, Gremlins. A lot of people grew up watching this film for Christmas and loved the adorable, cuddly little Gizmo, as Billy and Kate team up to save their small town against a mischievous horde of evil gremlins. It is the second week in our video game month and we are going for a more recent video game film: Assassin's Creed (2016).  A flop at the box office, the critics, and the video game nerds. It is the beginning of our video game month and what better way to start off than with the notorious cult classic, Street Fighter (1994), with our good friend and guest, Paul Bestolarides. Join us this week when our hosts talk about this famous beat 'em up game, which was plagued with problems, such as: Jean Claude Van Damme's supposed $10,000 a week cocaine habit and a clueless fighting choreographer. Most of us know it, most of us love it. And if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it! And it's directed of course, by the great Steven Spielberg. The epitome of a summer movie, it's the perfect time to watch and then listen along with us! In fact, this is the movie that started summer movies! Randy is out this week and we have a guest on to discuss the film with us, Rob Livings, an Australian filmmaker. He graces us with all his film knowledge from working at Blockbuster for 7 years and being a filmmaker himself. We have some great discussion about the film and what we are watching this week! This Dreamworks animation is the first episode this month to kick off our "Shark" theme, with a star studded cast of Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Jack Black, Renee Zellweger, Angelina Jolie and Martin Scorsese! When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidentally killed while on the hunt, his would-be prey and his vegetarian brother decide to use the incident to their own advantage. This week we watched another film by J. A. Bayona, The Impossible. Starring Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, and Tom Holland. This film tells the story of a family's struggle to survive and find each other after the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami in Thailand. The family is there vacationing for Christmas and the tsunami hits land on Boxing Day. Each member of the family is thrust in a different direction. They must try to find each other amongst the chaos around them. Typical of a Bayona film, this film is beautifully shot and well acted. Listen to the podcast episode to hear more of our opinions! Starring Dwayne Johnson and Neve Campbell and directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber. “A father goes to great lengths to save his family from a burning skyscraper.” Basically, The Rock climbs a huge, flaming skyscraper to save his family from destruction while he gets chased down by the police and it’s as ridiculous as it sounds. It’s about family, it’s about fire, it’s about climbing, it’s about The Rock having a prosthetic leg, it’s about duct tape, it’s about a super rich Asian man who just wants to build a really high skyscraper, okay? And hey, where the hell has Neve Campbell been? She was pretty great in this. Movie discussion at 13:12.
