This week, Anna and the Apocolypse tried to sing its way into our hearts, and instead, stuck a candy cane lawn ornament into our skulls and turned us into the undead, just like the rest of the people in this film. The Mandalorian continues to amaze and amaze, Chapter 12: The Jedi did NOT fail to deliver. With the live action introduction of Ahsoka Tano and the revelation of the name Grogu, Star Wars fans across the galaxy erupted in joy when the name "Grand Admiral Thrawn" was uttered. It wouldn't be Fantasy TV if we didn't go through our prediction results for Chapter 13: The Jedi. Clint did amazing, as did The Guch - but Devo went out there with some WILD predictions and scored some points. As we finish off our gushing over this episode, we try to use our smooth brains to figure out where we think this story is going to go for Chapter 14. Some of these predictions include: - Evil Grogu - Obi-Wan Kenobi's wonderous return. - MARA JADE!? - Moff Gideon Awesomeness - TALON KARRDE!? - How Boba Fett will return Follow, share, and review the show: Spotify: http://welcome2show.com/spotify iTunes: http://welcome2show.com/itunes YouTube: http://welcome2show.com/youtube Join our Discord to stay in touch with the hosts, other listeners, and get exclusive access to the fun stuff! https://discord.gg/mt8xpTRhQq Join our Patreon for exclusive Welcome 2 Show content! https://www.patreon.com/welcome2show Follow the show on the socials: Twitter: http://twitter.com/welcome2show Instagram: http://instagram.com/w2spod Facebook: http://facebook.com/w2spod Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Welcome2Show/ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/welcome2show/message

Deviants! Merry F’N Christmas! to get ready for the holiday, we chat about one of the GREATEST Christmas movies ever; DIE HARD.
This week to celebrate the release of Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, the Deviants sat down to watch Attack of the Clones. As a Producer Note from Devo, I was going to go through this ep and chop it up into a more consumable episode, but there's a lot of funny stuff on here and it wouldn't have made that much of a difference. You can sync this with the movie or seriously listen to it on your own merit. So sit down and have fun!
It's ALMOST Friday the 13th, so you know what that means? It's time to get HIGH and HORNY and FUCK TO OUR DEATH at Camp Crystal Lake! However, this movie spends literally minutes in the camp and sets sail to NEW YORK CITY!
There are bad movies, and then there's ThanksKilling. Brought to you by the minds behind Critters: Bounty Hunter and Craw Lake, join the journey of Turkie, a homicidal turkey brought to life through necromancy who is said to appear every five-hundred and five years to slaughter all Caucasians he encounters. Yes, that's a movie.
Deviants, this week we had the pleasure to sit down and enjoy one of the hidden gems of the 1980s: Weird Al Yankovich's UHF. While less of a movie review and more of a love letter to all the hilarious moments in this film, we also hit a bit of a serious note at the end. Enjoyed the episode? Share it with a friend! Hello Brade Runna! Ya, we get inappropriate right off the bat, but hey, we have fun! We sat down to watch one of the slowest, but most influential science fiction movies ever made, Blade Runner!

Deviants! This week we rock the fuck out of Zombieland! We love when zombie movies don't take themselves too seriously, while at the same time bringing something new and fresh to the table. There's a ton to cover in this episode, including an FMK that features a zombie stripper! So grab your Twinkies and nut up or shut up!
I ain't afraid of no ghost! Continuing our Halloween vibe, this week we sat down to discuss one of the greatest comedies ever made, the original Ghostbusters! We laugh, we cry, and Clint gets disgusted at the sheer love had for Sigourney Weaver.
Deviants, Welcome 2 Show! As we prepare for Joaquin Phoenix to take over the role of the Joker in DC's weird, new movie universe, we watched The Dark Knight in all of Heath Ledger's Joker goodness.

Maybe Tilda Swinton? John Boyd is a man struggling with his demons, and those demons are the need to eat people. Neal McDonough is a badass, the scene with him in the river is insane. Deviant Script Doctor The “main” cast is wiped out within the first half of the movie. It’s Just so Ridiculous! There’s no fucking way Guy Pierce survives that jump right? Dude had a nasty compound fracture, wouldn’t he have gotten gangrene or something? Colonel Ives is so nonchalant, pragmatic about it, feeding the chickens, holding someone’s skeleton hand, ridiculous lol The Kim Coppola AwardAwarded to the Finest Worst Actor of the Film The Guch - David Arquette Devo - David Arquette - “Sometimes I just hate his face.” The Clintoris - Jeffery Davies Overall - David Arquette Deviantly Repeatable Quotes “HE WAS LICKING ME!” - Toffler “Breakfast, lunch and reinforcements.” - Col. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the deviants of Welcome 2 Show; The Clintoris, The Guch, and The Devoslack sit down to watch Wing Commander! Wing Commander was a victim of trying to jump on the new hotness that was movie adaptations of popular video games. After the success(?) of Super Mario Bros., Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat, somebody somewhere decided that Hollywood needed to experience the thrill of space combat with Wing Commander. Of course, this movie would go down in a burning furball of glory. Awesome special effects inspired by the greats of sci-fi? Negative. Historical accuracy to the source material? Negative. Gripping acting to at least keep you in the space? Double negative. Need to Watch The Movie? Hit these links to rent or buy a copy and watch along with us! (Please note that by purchasing through one of these links, you are directly supporting Welcome 2 Show, and we truly appreciate it!) Amazon: https://amzn.to/2VWl3VI Deviant Casting Director The acting is atrocious! Was Freddie Prinze trying for an accent? Panaka from guard from Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace is in it! And he’s a Brit! Mark Hamill the voice of Merlin? Mark was also a voice on the Wing Commander Academy animated show Deviant Script Doctor The space station was in an asteroid, pretty cool, have we seen that before? Zulu time? Wtf is that? They do this thing that Star Wars n Star Trek to a lesser degree always seemed to avoid: somehow they’re more technologically advanced (space travel, simulated gravity, etc), yet much of their tech is inferior to ours (computer screens, floppy discs, etc) What good is a self-destruct if it malfunctions?! The one-liners are terrible. “Buy one get one free”? “He really is a good guy once you get to know him.” Is that a popular phrase? The Kilrathi were garbage. It’s Just so Ridiculous! The effects for the fighters were sooooo bad. Devereuax looked like a zombie, and Blair starts making out with her!? The Kim Coppola AwardAwarded to the Finest Worst Actor of the Film Matt Lillard. However, since all of the acting was atrocious in this movie, we decided to flip the script and honor the “best” actor of this film, that being Tchéky Karyo. Deviantly Repeatable Quotes When he got thru the quasar, his expression was so terrible lol like a poor man's version of Keanus Ted. Deviant Remake Please god no. Cheese 1,000 times better than what was happening in this movie with the Kilrathi.” - Devo “He’s trying to break the ice, he’s trying to incorporate himself with the rest of the crew and what does he do? Shit gets a little serious when we decided to watch the movie that won Best Picture at the 2019 Oscars. That movie: Green Book. An enjoyable movie, but not without backlash. We dive into some of the issues that were expressed on social media in regards to how Green Book tackles racism. Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/welcome2show

Strange things are afoot at the Social Deviants. We jump into our phone booth and head back in time to check out Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! Was it as bogus or as excellent as we remember?
Good for health, bad for education. Continuing our trek through yesteryear's vision of 2019, we take a look at Akira, the insanely popular anime. This week's Kim Coppola Award is a little shocking, but honestly well deserved. KANEDAAAAAAAAAAA! TETSUOOOOOOOOOO!
When a grown man who talks out of his ass dedicates his life to solving crimes of the animal kingdom, you get Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. This Jim Carrey vehicle helped launch him into superstardom, and the film helped form the sick and twisted humor that Devo possesses.
We took this week off, so we thought it would be fun to dig through the archives and find a movie from the past: The Matrix! The beer was flowing and the spit was swapping! Here are some of the topics we covered: Influence of the film on the movie industry Influence on society How influential is it on people born after it debuted? Do they even know what it is? Does it hold a place in their hearts like Star Wars? Where does it rank in terms of the best Sci-Fi franchises of all time? Future of the franchise
