In this interview, #JadenMichael talks about the lessons he learned in his role as Colin Kaepernick, as well as his experiences dealing with hair and discrimination. Jaden is an insightful young artist and he brings to stark life this look behind-the-scenes of Kaepernick's upbringing. For years, we've watched as Colin has been mistreated for the simple gesture of kneeling for victims of unwarranted police brutality. Even though he received the idea after consulting with a military man, his act was deliberately framed as an act of hatred against the military and the country. While he inadvertently became a symbol, the backlash cost him his NFL career (to date). Produced by #AvaDuvernay #ColinKaepernick and #PaulGarnes this series not only looks to show his upbringing, but to question and show the ways in which sports has policies that are detrimental and need to change, for the benefit of players and sports enthusiasts alike. Episode #130 - This FANTASTIC FELLAS FRIDAY, we celebrate Colin Kaepernick and Jaden Michael. Jaden's interview with Drew Barrymore tells a lot about Colin's patriotism, selflessness, empowerment and how the movie may show how he may be misunderstood by using his influential power for positive change. We also play negative comments by white people (Michele Tafoya and Clay Travis) commenting on the Slavery/NFL comparison. Jaden even talks about some of the things in the Netflix Series COLIN IN BLACK AND WHITE. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY?
