Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson is the bestselling author of 12 books including his very controversial & important book, The Assault on Truth: Freud's Suppression of the Seduction Theory. Jeffrey is well known for his work on Sigmund Freud and psychoanalysis, and in his book The Assault on Truth, Jeffrey argues that Freud may have abandoned his seduction theory to help cover up or suppress how common sexual abuse was in this wealthy, upper class community.JEFFREY MASSON:Website: https://www.jeffreymasson.com/Book: https://www.jeffreymasson.com/books/the-assault-on-truth.htmlBlog: https://jeffreymasson.wordpress.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jeffrey.m.massonX: https://x.com/jeffreymmassonIG: https://www.instagram.com/jeffrey.m.masson/THE RIPPLE EFFECT PODCAST:WEBSITE: http://TheRippleEffectPodcast.comWebsite Host & Video Distributor: https://ContentSafe.co/SUPPORT:PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/TheRippleEffectPodcastPayPal: https://www.PayPal.com/paypalme/RvTheory6VENMO: https://venmo.com/code?user_id=3625073915201071418&created=1663262894Send BitCoin:  bc1qh0w0xyud67gvexwenh9fszzqy0np799h9qffyqSend Ethereum: 0xfeda6Da1EE8Aa06E0d63272c886277153C1ef34dMERCH Store: http://www.TheRippleEffectPodcastMerch.comMUSIC: https://music.apple.com/us/album/the-ripple-effect-ep/1057436436WATCH:RUMBLE: https://rumble.com/c/c-745495YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVfy9MXhb5EIciYRIO9cKUwLISTEN:SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/show/4lpFhHI6CqdZKW0QDyOicJiTUNES: http://apple.co/1xjWmlFCONNECT:TeleGram: https://t.me/TREpodcastX: https://x.com/RvTheory6THE UNION OF THE UNWANTED: https://linktr.ee/TheUnionOfTheUnwanted

S4 E4: Raising the Peaceable Kingdom by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson Sarah shares her thoughts on: Raising the Peaceable Kingdom by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson. Raising the Peaceable Kingdom by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson is a book that explores the relationship between humans and animals. Through a combination of personal anecdotes, scientific research, and philosophical musings, Masson examines the power of empathy and compassion, and how these qualities can help us create a more peaceful world. He argues that animals are not mere objects, but conscious, feeling beings that deserve our respect and compassion. Masson delves into the fascinating and often overlooked connection between humans and animals, and how we can use this connection to create a more peaceful and harmonious relationship between the two. By exploring the power of empathy and compassion, Masson encourages readers to think deeply about the importance of caring for animals and the environment. "It is only once we have made the decision to live with an animal on some sort of equal ground that we are likely to learn what that animal is capable of from a more complex point of view....Perhaps these animals will have something to teach us, too." Zapraszamy do słuchania! Can A Shocking Resurrection From Extinction Save Mankind? While the world succumbs to the horrors of a great flu epidemic, a woman vows to protect the perilous fate of a bird whose existence manipulates the destiny of man. In this suspenseful tale, part Michael Crichton, part Rachel Carson, a global virus sets the tone, but it's a one-pound bird that determines who lives. . . and who doesn't. Science collides head-on with the untamed in this powerful novel of redemption. “A wonderful reading experience... I think anyone who picks up this book will be changed by it.” Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson, Ph.D., Author of When Elephants Weep and Dogs Never Lie About Love “Quick Fall of Light shares Rachel Carson's fears for our planet and exhibits Woodley's own “sense of wonder,” as well as her sure instincts for mystery and suspense.” Linda Lear, Author of Rachel Carson: Witness for Nature “A prophetic mystery and an environmental thriller, Quick Fall of Light will keep you reading and wondering.” Brenda Peterson, Author of Animal Heart “This book has everything! Great characters, vivid language, a shocking resurrection, and birds. Binge-watching. You sit down, popcorn and soda at the ready, and before you know it, three hours have gone by and Netflix pops up with a message: “Are you still watching?” While binge-watching is a fairly new English phrase (attested by the OED back to 1998 in verb form) in the sense of “overindulgence,” binging goes back to the 19th century, associated with gluttony. While binging on television may be a particularly modern phenomenon, the connection between gluttony and aesthetic taste is not. Today on Sutras (and Stuff) we'll look at the Sanskrit thinker Abhinavagupta on aesthetic gluttony. Would he binge-watch the Tiger King or even the Ramayana on Netflix?
