Jordan Valle-Perez is a 23 year old woman, born and raised in Michigan who has always had a constant struggle with food addiction and identity. While this battle continued throughout most of her life, it wasn't until recently that a tole taken on her mental health delved her deeper into a dark time in life. With the guidance of friends, family, and a specialized individual in nutrition, Jordan was able to identify her struggles and make serious progress. At her heaviest, she weighed 270 lbs. Currently, she has lost 96 lbs! While addiction and mental health didn't register on Jordan's radar as an issue, coming to the realization that the habits she created and the mindset she was stuck in were not healthy was one of the best things she could have done for herself. Jordan will continue to move forward and speaks to each individual who may relate to her story, letting them know their dreams are attainable...it may just take some time.
