Elizabeth Line opening day reimagined by Simon Woods. "The 'Kaoss' of the title refers, not to any chaos that may or may not have occurred on the opening day of the Elizabeth Line, but to the use of Korg Kaoscillator and Kaoss Pad in the composition. All the percussion is made from sounds of the doors closing or other bangs and crashes on the journey. The two chords are from the tone of the train moving."

Police have just released more information about the fatal shooting of Kaoss Price last weekend. Price was shot dead on the road between New Plymouth and Waitara on Saturday night. Our reporter Nick Truebridge joins Lisa Owen with the details.  

A family friend of Kaoss Price, shot dead by police, says it's now clear they did not need to kill the unarmed young man. The 22-year-old was shot on Saturday night on State Highway 3 while trying to hijack vehicles from members of the public, after first ramming a police car. It was only late yesterday afternoon that the police revealed Price didn't have a gun. A family friend says there was no justification for shooting him. Jordan Bond reports.
