Since the late nineteenth century, amusement parks have been providing countless hours of enjoyment for people all around the world. Often driven by the latest technology and advances in mechanical engineering, the thrill rides at parks like Disney Land, Great America, and other independent parks offer a controlled environment to experience terror and excitement. While these rides, and the parks in general, are very safe and held to strict safety standards, there are times when the unthinkable happens—a cable snaps, a safety harness breaks—and the once safe ride becomes a nightmare for passengers. Far more often than not, tragic amusement park accidents are the result of human foolishness or, far less often, operator error. But other times, they are a bizarre fluke; a one in a million mechanical problem no one saw coming. An investigative report from ProPublica has identified the two federal immigration agents shot at Alex Pretti January 24 in Minneapolis. A federal judge in Minnesota has ordered that elementary-aged children who were taken into custody by ICE last week be kept in or returned to the state. The second grader and fifth grader were taken into custody with their mother on Thursday by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. They attended the same school as 5-year-old Liam Ramos. Two Minnesota immigrant advocacy groups are committing new funding to support families impacted by increased immigration enforcement.

BREAKING: ICE Officer Fatally Shoots Woman—Chaos Follows

Tragedy struck in Minneapolis, Minnesota as ICE agents fatally shot a woman using her vehicle as a weapon. 37 year old Renee Good was blocking the road as ICE officers tried to make their way through. The video shows an ICE officer opening fire as Renee Good hits the gas in his direction. Sanctuary cities like Minneapolis often create chaotic and dangerous situations as local police refuse to assist ICE agents. These conditions are forcing ICE agents to police the area while trying to do their job of detaining illegal immigrants. Tragedies like this can be avoided if local law enforcement would intervene when protestors confront and put ICE agents is dangerous situations. Bobby Kennedy flipped the food pyramid upside-down.
