It's also the return of the House of the Lombardi, the theme for the NFL here on Brewstilled. For this episode, I'll be discussing the 10 NFL teams for this year's edition of the House of The Lombardi. Some teams were part of last year's edition while some are new. They all have their own storylines, struggles and goals. Yet, they have the same quest to get the Lombardi Trophy. I'll be talking about these 10 teams and what is to come in the months to come before the NFL season starts. De un futuro que parece que empieza a estar más cerca después del experimento realizado en la Instalación Nacional de Ignición de EE. UU. en Livermore (California), que ha logrado producir más energía que la que se necesita para lograr la unión de los átomos. Los físicos llevan desde los años 60 del siglo pasado persiguiendo esta tecnología, que promete una fuente potencial de energía limpia casi ilimitada y la ignición era uno de los mayores obstáculos de todo el proceso aunque no el único. Hemos entrevistado a Emilia R. Solano, investigadora del Laboratorio Nacional de Fusión (CIEMAT) y miembro del consorcio europeo EUROFusion. “El comienzo de un nuevo comienzo”. De esta forma se expresaba el administrador de la NASA, Bill Nelson, tras el éxito de la misión Artemis. Como nos ha contado Eva Rodríguez (SINC), la nave Orión ha conseguido completar un largo periplo alrededor de la Luna en un viaje preparatorio para el envío de una misión tripulada a nuestro satélite. Hemos escuchado el sonido de los remolinos de polvo en Marte captados por el micrófono del rover Perseverance. Con el doctor Pedro Gargantillahemos hablado de su último libro, “Embarazos y partos de las reinas de España” que ha escrito junto a la especialista de ginecología y obstetricia Berta Martín Cabrejas. Montse Villar nos ha hablado de un tesoro recién descubierto en el monasterio egipcio de Santa Catalina: extractos de lo que podría ser la copia más antigua del Catálogo Astronómico de Hiparco. Jim has been involved in forensics since 1990. He started his forensics career at Glenbard West High School in the Chicagoland. From there he went on to compete for College of DuPage. While at College of DuPage he earned the Bavaro-Tabor award as the top speaker at the 1994 Phi Rho Pi National Championships. From there he went on to Northern Arizona University achieving the National Championship in Prose Interpretation at the 1996 National Forensics Association National Championships. Jim began coaching at a TA California State University Chico and inducted into the Chico Hall of Fame as part of the 2012. He is also in the National Forensics Hall of Fame. Jim has been the Director of Forensics at Las Positas College in Livermore California since 2001. Dr. Rob Phillips is the Fred and Nancy Morris Professor of Biophysics and Biology at the California Institute of Technology. He received his PhD in Physics in condensed matter physics from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in physics at Sandia Labs in Livermore California and at Cornell University. Rob served on the faculty at Brown University for 7 years before joining the faculty at Caltech. Rob is here with us today to tell us about his journey through life and science.
