The Falcons also lost as Michale Penix Jr. suffered a knee injury as he was replaced by Kirk Cousins. The Rams secured key win against Seattle as they now control the NFC West. For week 10 we got some good NFL action as the Lombardi teams continue their 2025 NFL season. We saw The Raiders lose a close game to the Broncos while the Falcons lost a close game in Berlin to the Colts. The Jets also secured a win although it could impact their 2025 draft status. Jacksonville lost after blowing a huge lead to the Texans as this loss could alter the Jaguars season. Tampa Bay also lost to the Patriots as injuries on the Buccaneers roster may now be here to haunt them. The Ravens secured a must win in their game against the Vikings. For Detroit they won against the Commanders, but their season may be in limbo as they have yet to win a key game. The Rams also won against the 49ners as they fight to secure the NFC West. In this episode we saw new elements with Ava and Deborah in their lives outside of their late-night talk show. For Deborah she experienced some of the negatives as the host of a late-night talk show after an encounter with the host of a different talk show. For Ava we saw more of her dynamic with the friends she made in the past episode. Yet, despite their conflict we saw that Ava and Deborah do indeed care for one another. I'll be discussing it here on Brewstilled with a Lagger/Doppelbock beer style from Heater Allen Brewing as the drink pairing.

The 2025 NFL Drat was one full of drama and surprises that included a surprise free fall for Shedeur Sanders. The Falcons made a bold move with their draft while the Cowboys made some moves that could haunt them when the season begins in the fall. Both the Raiders and the Chargers drafted well that will escalate the rivalry between Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carrol. For the Ravens, they allowed the draft to fall into place. With the two now having a team of writers, we saw Deborah and Ava take the team to a retreat in Las Vegas. It was supposed to be discreet, but in today's world, not all that occurs in Vegas stays in Vegas. With Season 4 for Hacks being the final season for what has been a well-crafted series, episodes 1 and 2 have season 4 off to a great start. This is a show that has a nice combo of comedy and drama that also helps drive the story. Our lead characters Deborah and Ava are also in an uneasy alliance as they try to launch a late-night talk show in an ever-changing entertainment landscape. I'll recap their experiences in this edition of Brewstilled.

It contained developments that were definitely a surprise as all of the story arcs ended. Amongst the characters there were the winners and the losers. We also got a major twist that showed that everyone can be bought at the right price.
