This is a recording of the chair debate for the LNC held at the California Libertarian convention in Long Beach
I host the debate for LNC Chair. Candidates: Angela McArdle, Tony D'Orazio and Steve Dasbach. Record number of viewers that were live. Incredible.
Chair Candidate Angela McArdle takes time out of her very busy schedule to discuss her Congressional Run, LP Cali, and her run for LNC Chair. Boy that's a lot. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/notareallibertarian/message
Angela McArdle (@angela4LNCChair) joins us to discuss her run for LNC Chair, Koreatown in LA, Otto's hatred of tacos and more! Help out the show at PRLFans.com!!
To some of you, none of this matters. To others, this is a BFD. If the Libertarian Party is corrupt, then it has zero moral high-ground over the duopoly system and consequently, zero value. Plain and simple. We're not supposed to be the lesser of three evils, we are supposed to be principled and accept our inevitable L's.For those that don't know, Jeremy Kauffman is the "dastardly villain" who has been responsible for the recent spicy tweets out of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire account. His Tweets have stirred up emotion and controversy by people who saw them as insensitive, tone-deaf, or (of course) racist. To counter-act these edgy tweets, to my understanding several people, including the NH Chair and the LNC Chair, conspired to simply create a NEW LPNH, throw all the elected officials out and force in their own agenda, despite the will of all the delegates... Sounds reasonable right? I think the word for that... is "insurrection"... or at the very least, a literal COUP!Is the LNC full on corrupt? Is Jeremy Kauffman "a bigot"? Is "all press indeed good press"?You decide.Question everything. Stay uncomfortable.Let's get weird.Guest & Sponsor Links:Brave Botanicals (Kratom / Delta 8 THC):https://mybravebotanicals.comPromo Code: TSIDThe Royal Green Series:Https://theroyalgreen.comBecome a Producer:Https://patreon.com/thesystemisdownContact:Call in and leave a vm: 309-716-3818Send Dan a present by Fed-Mail: PO Box 84. This week we've got Jacob Lamont on the show, a man after our own hearts who hates politically correct thought policing as much as we do, running for LNC Chair and loving liberty full time. Kyle starts out the show with a rare act of drinking on a workday, then we talk about burning the flag for fun. Just as we start to get into the intricacies of pedophilia Jake Lamont joins us against his better judgement. We talk about Jake's pure Nordic heritage, Jake's wife's age, punk rock and clean living, cocaine gum, calling everything retarded and gay, Jake does a SPOT ON Beavis and Butthead Impression, eating p*ssy, Kyle's uncanny ability to turn off swearing, and Jake weighs in on his opinion of the Libertarian Party and what needs to change. We interview Libertarian National Committee Chair Candidate, Joshua Smith
We interview Libertarian National Committee Chair Candidate, Mike Shipley.
On this May 16, 2020 episode, the Fakertarians welcome special guest Mike Shipley, LNC Chair candidate, while Sam Coppinger wails in sorry for his beloved Amash.
Continuing a Coronavirus break, DL seizes an opportunity to get together with Mike Shipley, another of the three candidates running for the LNC Chair position. We discuss his path to running for LNC Chair, the concept of Bottom Unity, Justin Amash and more. Though Mike and DL would likely differ on many topics they had a great conversation. They unintentionally illustrate how finding common ground needs only desire and mere moments to materialize with an off-the-cuff discussion on redlining.Bill Review:Due to time constraints the Bill Review was cancelled this episode.Sources used or mentioned in this episode:Mike Shipley for LNC Chair, FacebookMike Shipley for LNC Chair, Twitter
Taking a break from Coronavirus, DL gets together with Joshua Smith, one of three candidates running for the LNC Chair position. We discuss what brought him to this moment, his previous Chair run, coronavirus, Justin Amash and more. This episode marks the first of several planned interviews to come.
