James Bond goes up against Hugo Drax, a billionaire with a private space rocket company who's secretly a eugenicist, plotting to kill everyone on earth and replace them with his idea of a master race who lives in space. I don't know why this sounds so familiar. Also, Jaws the Henchman shows up and goes through so many near-deaths, you'd think he was fighting Bugs Bunny. Starring Roger Moore, Michael Lonsdale, Richard Kiel, Lois Chiles, and Corrine Clery. Written by Christopher Wood from Ian Fleming's novel. Directed by Lewish Gilbert.

Just in time for the election, here comes Steve Bannon. The MAGA instigator is being released from prison today. He served nearly four-months for ignoring a subpoena in the congressional investigation of the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Bannon is expected to appear on CNN, hold a press conference and resume his podcast with hours of being freed. This is not the end of Bannon's legal troubles. In December, he's expected to face charges in New York state court for allegedly swindling donors out of money they thought would be used to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Pulitzer Prize winning author and investigative journalist David Cay Johnston will join us to discuss Bannon's release and the upcoming election. That it is Friday the 13th seems appropriate given the horror show that the Trump campaign is putting forward. Yesterday at a rally, Trump continued to insist that immigrants are abducting people's pets, though he did not say they were eating them this time. Meanwhile, when Trump surrogate Stephen Miller was asked to back up some of the awful things he was saying about immigrants with facts, he couldn't do it and he lost his mind. We will check in with journalist and political analyst Michael Shure to talk about the remaining days of the presidential campaigns. Get your sunglasses and your sense of humor together because we're headed back to Florida! We'll check in on the special fun our Southern friends are having this week with Friday Fabulous Florida. The Culture Blaster, MichaelSnyder, entertains us with entertainment as only he can. Movies, streaming, sports and more!

Mase & Sue do some detective work on their Watch Along of Episode 4 of APPLE TV +'s LA set noir series, SUGAR, starring Colin Farrell. They discuss the introduction of Olivia's disturbing social media posts, Melanie's suspicious dealings with Bernie, David and his Henchman's visit with Sugar's purported mother, and a possible clue as to “what” her “son” truly is. Also, why is Sugar so optimistic about the human condition, yet constantly questioning it? What's behind the discussion with his secret society doctor about an alien related scene in John Carpenter's, The Thing? David's predatory behavior becoming public, if he sexually assaulted his half-sister, and the significance of a dress worn by Olivia's late actress mother in a film directed by her grandfather seen in photos on his current wife. In the vein of CHINATOWN, is Olivia his daughter or granddaughter? What's with the treasure trove of women's jewelry the villainous Stalling's creepy girlfriend combs through, one of which, a necklace Olivia is wearing in her video posts? And is Olivia on the other side of the padlocked door in his basement? Plus, ESPNLA producer and self-proclaimed Swiftie Emily Hybl drops by THE CULTURE POP PODCAST for an in-depth discussion about The Tortured Poets Department. They talk about their favorite tunes and Emily sets the record straight on who's who in Taylor's heartbreak songs. Also, the significance of some of the locations, her signature track 5's, easter eggs, bestie Emma Stone's contribution, the possible connection between ‘Fortnight' and ‘Florida!!!' the brilliant specific lyrics, hidden/ not so hidden Kim Kardashian jab, thanK you aIMee and the inspiration behind the poem, “For T and Me” penned to Taylor by Stevie Nicks.

In the latest episode of "Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski," Bob Motta, defense attorney and host of "Defense Diaries," delves into the abyss of the Chad Daybell case. Here are the not-so-light-hearted highlights: Jury selection for Chad Daybell's trial is anticipated to be as drawn out as the case itself, reflecting the vast public interest and media coverage. The trial's length, estimated between six to ten weeks, sets the stage for a marathon of legal maneuvers. Lori Vallow's trial is mentioned as a benchmark, albeit with Chad facing a different set of evidence, including a less convenient alibi. The defense strategy for Chad seems to be conjuring the ghost of Lori's deceased brother, Alex Cox, as the chief villain, with Chad and Lori as mere puppets under his sinister influence. Motta speculates on a defense narrative casting Chad as an unwitting participant, ensnared by Lori's malevolent spell and Alex's dark deeds. The possibility of challenging the mens rea aspect of the charges against Chad through claims of mental defect (sans an insanity defense) is discussed, painting Lori as the mastermind behind a bizarre belief system involving dark and light scales, demons, and other metaphysical mumbo jumbo. The conversation touches on the absurdity of trying to convince a jury of Chad's lack of intent, based on a belief that the victims were not human but rather possessed vessels. Speculation abounds regarding whether Chad will flip on Lori, painting her as the orchestrator of the murders, in a desperate bid to avoid the death penalty. The discussion concludes with ponderings on the potential impact of Chad's trial on Lori's defense in her upcoming trial, with a side of speculation about the insanity defense in Arizona. #ChadDaybellTrial #LoriVallow #DefenseDiaries #MurderAndMagic #DaybellVallowSaga #JurySelectionDrama #InsanityDefenseTwist Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE?
