With there being no Sunday service at POSC this week due to Serve Sunday at Ducktona, today we listen to a message originally preached at POSC on September 19th, 2007 by the late Rev. Michael J. Schmalz. In this powerful and convicting message titled “Creating an Atmosphere for God to Bless,” Rev. Schmalz challenges us to shift our thinking and align it with God's Word to unlock the supernatural in our churches and our lives. Drawing from Matthew 13 and Psalm 78, we are reminded that even Jesus was limited—not by His power, but by people's unbelief. Faulty thinking, fear, and excuses can hinder the miraculous—but right thinking sets the stage for revival. This sermon is a passionate call to transform not just what we believe, but how we think and act. When our minds are renewed, it will show in three key areas: a dedication to the harvest, a lifestyle of sacrificial giving, and a determination to finish our course. If you're ready to stop limiting what God can do through you—this episode will challenge, encourage, and inspire you to think big, give boldly, and never give up. Steven and Ian open with a quick conversation about fireworks and fireworks-adjacent emo music. Then they dive into the outcry from Lorde fans about the faulty "transparent" CD edition of her latest album, Virgin (3:36). Steven is excited to see CD discourse go mainstream, though he worries that this bad publicity might turn people off to the format. After that, they discuss the AI band The Velvet Sundown, which has already racked up 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify in just a few weeks (11:02). They also talk about the recent Glastonbury Festival and speculate on why European music festivals look so much more fun than American ones (22:11). Finally, they do the Q3 Fantasy Albums Draft, and talk about some of the most anticipated releases of the next three months (33:50).New episodes of Indiecast drop every Friday. In this explosive broadcast, the hosts dissect the Democrats' illegal leak of low-confidence intelligence—sourced from Iranian propaganda agents—to CNN in an effort to discredit Trump's strikes on Iran's nuclear program. They argue this leak wasn't just reckless but criminal, accusing Democrats of collusion with America's adversaries to manipulate public opinion. The conversation explores how the media ran misleading headlines without context, how the intelligence community codes the reliability of reports, and why this strategy backfired in the modern information landscape. As the hosts note, rapid fact-checking and uncensored platforms are exposing the coordinated attempts to mislead voters—and changing the game for good.
The watchdog that settles disputes about essential services like electricity and gas believes it should be mandatory for water suppliers to sign up to the scheme. Utilities Disputes is an independent disputes resolution service; its compulsory for gas and electricity companies and broadband installers to be part of the scheme. But it's voluntary for water suppliers. It comes after Checkpoint revealed 13,000 Watercare smart meters are not working properly, leaving some customers struggling to pay big catch-up bills and frustrated by Watercare's service. Watercare is a voluntary member of Utilities Disputes, which means it has to refer any complaints to the service, customers can't make complaints directly. Utilities Disputes Commissioner Neil Mallon spoke to Lisa Owen.

The insured's kitchen sink wasn't draining well. A plumber scoped the line and found tree roots blocking it. The only fix is to dig up and replace the pipe. The adjuster checked the HO3 (2011) exclusions but didn't find one specifically for tree roots. Do others apply? Notable Timestamps [ 00:45 ] – The adjuster checks the ISO HO3 (2011) policy but finds no explicit exclusion for damage caused by tree roots. [ 04:44 ] – Tree root damage exclusions can exist in some policies, but are rare. If clearly written, they're usually enforceable. [ 05:30 ] – Lacking that, adjusters must look at general exclusions. The team explores all possibilities, including wear and tear, inherent vice, and non-fortuitous loss. [ 06:14 ] – Does wear and tear apply? Tree root intrusion may be interpreted as gradual, expected deterioration, not sudden damage. [ 07:14 ] – "Insurance covers risks, not costs." Damage expected to happen over time (like root growth) may fall outside coverage. [ 10:12 ] – Earth movement was suggested as an exclusion. It's debatable whether tree roots pushing soil could qualify as "earth movement." [ 12:08 ] – Inherent vice is another possible exclusion, if pipe failure resulted from defective materials rather than external damage. [ 13:03 ] – Faulty maintenance or neglect may apply if the homeowner ignored known tree root issues or failed to maintain the system. [ 14:01 ] – If pipe damage is covered, costs to dig up the lawn may also be covered as part of the repair. [ 15:00 ] – But if the loss is excluded, tear-out costs likely aren't covered unless tied to investigation or specifically included. [ 16:04 ] – The bottom line: coverage depends on facts, foreseeability, and exclusions. Without a tree root exclusion, outcomes are uncertain. Airing Pain #149: Why pain persists: from childhood trauma to faulty immunity This edition of Airing Pain looks at the research into why pain persists, how we can identify people at risk and whether we could prevent it happening. In this episode: How does acute short-term pain turn into chronic, persistent pain? Kathleen Sluka explains that people who experience psychological trauma at young ages are more likely to have chronic pain later in life. What scientists think is happening is that psychological trauma or other stressful events actually change your immune system. Shafiq Skikander adds that a lot of patients with fibromyalgia may have had early life stressors. In addition, when they come to clinic presenting with fibromyalgia, they usually have a history of depression. So how does this happen? Gareth Hathway explains that slowly but surely, our understanding of the basic mechanisms is advancing. We now understand that babies do feel pain, young people do feel pain. It has a long-term consequence. We need a specialist approach to managing pain at every part of the life course. We need to think about how we measure that pain and how we treat that pain. The interviews were recorded at the British Pain Society's Annual Scientific Meeting, 2024. Contributors: Shafiq Sikander, a professor of sensory neurophysiology at the William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University, London. A Faulty Dissertation ep.774 Raine Fallfish is a poet and storyteller currently developing two collections of poetry and a video game. Her first poetry project, The Apocalypse of Cassandra, is a sonnet sequence chronicling the end of the world. Her second, an untitled collection of mini-epics, weaves together classical mythology and modern folklore to capture the essence of loss and desperation. One of these pieces, The Death of the Asphodel, is available to read for free on her website. She is also part of the creative team behind Owlrabbit, an indie metroidvania that examines the interactions of death, legacy, and ruin. In 2015, I suffered from poor Type 1 diabetes control which lead me to become legally blind for almost a year. The doctors didn't give me much hope, predicting an 80% chance that I would never see again. But I refused to give up and changed my lifestyle drastically. Through sheer willpower (and an amazing eye surgeon) I beat the odds and regained my vision. During that difficult time, I couldn't read or write, which was devastating as they had always been a source of comfort for me since childhood. However, my wife took me to the local library where she read out the titles of audiobooks to me. I selected some of my favorite books, such as the Disc World series, Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, and more, and the audiobooks brought these stories to life in a way I had never experienced before. They helped me through the darkest period of my life and I fell in love with audiobooks. Once I regained my vision, I decided to pursue a career as an audiobook narrator instead of a writer. That's why I created Tall Tale TV, to support aspiring authors in the writing communities that I had grown to love before my ordeal. My goal was to help them promote their work by providing a promotional audio short story that showcases their writing skills to readers. They say the strongest form of advertising is word of mouth, so I offer a platform for readers to share these videos and help spread the word about these talented writers. Please consider sharing these stories with your friends and family to support these amazing authors. Shoot us a Text.Episode #1032: Today we break down Trump's new tariff offsets for U.S. automakers, GM's massive recall of its flagship V-8, and a heartwarming $50K donation from West Herr's CEO to support local youth.Show Notes with links:President Trump is throwing automakers a bit of a lifeline on tariffs—but it's not a free ride. His new executive orders are easing some of the pressure, but only if manufacturers meet some very specific conditions.Automakers who build vehicles in the U.S. can apply for a special reimbursement starting April 3, 2025.That reimbursement is worth 3.75% of the MSRP for the first year, dropping to 2.5% in year two.To qualify for the full break, at least 85% of the vehicle's parts have to be made in the U.S. or in a country covered by the USMCA.If a vehicle hits 50% U.S. content, the company will only pay tariffs on the remaining 35% instead of the full 50%.Parts themselves are also capped—companies can get reimbursed for components making up to 15% of a vehicle's value in year one, and 10% in year two.Vehicles and parts must be assembled in the U.S. to qualify, and a new system for applying is expected within 30 days.At a Detroit rally yesterday, President Trump said, “They took in parts from all over the world. I don't want that. I want them to make their parts here. We gave them a little bit of time before we slaughter them if they don't do this.”In news that hits close to home, General Motors has issued a voluntary recall of 721,000 6.2-liter V-8 engines due to potential engine seizure, affecting pickups and large SUVs built from March 2021 through May 2024.The issue stems from rod bearing damage caused by sediment and crankshafts with improper dimensions and surface finish.Faulty components were supplied by American Axle & Manufacturing and Questum Macimex.Dealers face backlog challenges as each engine swap takes over 22 hours and requires full replacement engines.GM says inspections will begin first; engines that pass will receive 0W-40 oil, a new filter, cap, and owner's manual update.“The safety and satisfaction of our customers are the highest priorities for the entire GM team,” said spokesman Bill Grotz. We'll end the show with a bright spot: During the Depew-Lancaster Boys & Girls Club's Spring Fundraiser, West Herr President/CEO Scott Bieler made a surprise $50,000 donation through his family foundation. The gift honored Bethanne Hollis, West Herr's VP of Variable Ops and a club board member. The donation helps offset major funding losses for the club this year.Funds will directly support local youth programs and services.“We are so lucky to have both of these amazing individuals leading the way,” West Herr statJoin Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/
Emergency preparedness is a term you're likely familiar with regarding Health & Safety, but its application is also a key part of the Best Practice Environmental Management Standard, ISO 14001. ISO 14001 aims to help organisations reduce their overall impact on the environment, and this includes mitigating and responding to any incidents that may adversely affect factors such as biodiversity and water quality in areas where your business is based. While not applicable to every industry, there are many which need to take greater responsibility in the event of an environmental incident. ISO 14001 provides key guidance in how to create effective processes to ensure you respond swiftly, and in alignment with the law. In this episode Ian Battersby explains what is meant by emergency preparedness and response within ISO 14001, and how that can apply to your business. You'll learn · What is emergency preparedness and response in ISO 14001? · How do you approach Clause 8.2 in ISO 14001? · Planning for an environmental emergency · Definitions of different types of emergency · How can you prevent an environmental emergency? Resources · Isologyhub · Learn more about ISO 14001 In this episode, we talk about: [02:05] Episode Summary – Ian explains the purpose of clause 8.2 in ISO 14001, emergency preparedness and response. [02:35] What is meant by ‘emergency preparedness and response' in ISO 14001?: Many will be familiar with emergency preparedness and response in relation to Health and Safety. In Standards such as ISO 45001, it's about ensuring there are plans in place to reasonably foresee and prevent any serious harm to a person or persons affected by our activities The aim with Clause 8.2 in ISO 14001 is to minimise the risk an organisation poses to the environment. Though, these aren't mutually exclusive and some environmental response plans can prevent harm to both people and the environment. Ian seeks to clarify this clause further as many have a tendency to point towards their fire evacuation plan and fire drills as the first piece of evidence when demonstrating conformity to clause 8.2 in ISO 14001. While fire is very violent to the environment once it's occurred, the evacuation of people during such an event building offers little in the way of an environmental response. [05:10] Breaking down Clause 8.2: Clause 8.1 states: “The organization shall establish, implement and maintain the process(es) needed to prepare for and respond to potential emergency situations identified in 6.1.1.” Like with many Standards, it references an early clause where you should be identifying the relevant emergency situations. Clause 6 focuses on risk and opportunities, and in the case of ISO 14001 this is where you'll establish your environmental aspects and compliance obligations. Specifically, Clause 6.1.2 states: “Within the defined scope of the environmental management system, the organization shall determine the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services that it can control and those that it can influence, and their associated environmental impacts.” This would take into consideration any abnormal conditions and reasonably foreseeable emergency situations. So, this is where you should already have established the emergency situations for which you need to plan for. Risk management is a core of the standards and planning for emergency situations is a core of risk management. You don't write plans in isolation; you will have already established what's important. [07:30] Planning for emergency: As stated in Clause 8.2: “The organization shall plan: a) to take actions to address its risks b) how to: 1) integrate into environmental management system or other business processes; 2) evaluate the effectiveness of these actions.” This is all part of the familiar PDCA cycle. From Ian's perspective as an auditor, he won't look at emergency plans first, instead looking at an organisations Aspects & Impacts Assessment. The standard isn't prescriptive on how you assess the impact of what you do or the risks. The methodology is your choice, but it is very explicit in that the content must include abnormal conditions and reasonably foreseeable emergency situations. [09:40] What are the definitions for different types of emergency situations? Normal situations are when everything operates as intended, Business as usual, the day-to-day activities you expect: E.G. Standard operation of machinery, a vehicle getting from A to B without issue. Abnormal situations are when things aren't quite right, not catastrophic, but not business as usual; you can still achieve your intended outcome, but maybe not as quickly or efficiently: E.G. machinery running inefficiently or perhaps using more fuel or lubricant than usual. They don't necessarily require an emergency plan, but you may want to monitor the severity of such situations and their potential for significant impact if unaddressed. Emergency situations are serious events requiring immediate attention and which could cause significant environmental impacts. The type of emergency situation that could possibly occur will depend on the type of organisation, but common ones include fire or chemical / fuel spill. [11:30] What is required by the Standard? – As stated: You are required to: A) plan to respond to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts from emergencies; (not human) B) respond to actual emergencies; C) prevent or mitigate the consequences of emergencies; D) periodically test the planned response; E) review and revise the process, in particular after the occurrence of emergency or test; F) provide relevant information and training, to relevant interested parties, including persons working under its control. [13:00] Examples of Emergency Situations – We'll look at a common one, fire. There are still 22,000 workplace fires in the UK each year, which is a significant environmental impact. That amounts to approximately 2,700 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. This in addition to the atmospheric toxins, ground/water contamination, resource loss, waste etc. So, in considering fire as an environmental emergency, these are the impacts. IOSH states that the most common cause for workplace fires is faulty or misused electrical equipment, followed by flammable/combustible materials, dirt and clutter, human error, smoking and cooking. One thing to note about those causes is that they are generally required to be controlled by specific legislation. So, you would be looking for a link between compliance obligations (or legal) register, the Aspects & Impacts Assessment and the controls in place to minimise the risks identified in both. Faulty electrics would stand out, so you would look at what measures could be put in place to prevent such faults occurring, including: · Preventive maintenance of equipment · Inspection and testing of electrical fixed wiring · Portable appliance testing By demonstrating the processes in place to address these, you can evidence compliance obligations and the planning to reduce the possibility of an emergency situation arising. However, a fire may still occur [15:40] Example emergency situation – Prevention: – You should look at the planning to prevent such a situation escalating into a full-blown emergency in order to prevent the environmental impact. This could include: · The maintenance, inspection and testing of fire detection or suppression systems · The inspection and servicing of firefighting equipment. · Firefighting equipment training for personnel Based on what you know about the causes of fire, you should examine smoking policies/practices, catering equipment maintenance, housekeeping, hazardous material management etc. Proof of fire drills alone enough when it comes to emergency preparedness and response in ISO 14001. Especially from an auditor's perspective, as how can you prove that your fire drills are useful in minimising the impact on the environment? [17:15] Other emergency situations – Spillage: An area where you can more readily see that preparedness and response directly affects the environmental outcome is where there has been a spillage of some kind. A spill of a lubricant on a shop floor, for instance, has the potential to cause a slip hazard, affecting the safety of people. The preventive measures, again, have similarities regardless of whether we're talking safety or environment, but do differ in that we're trying to prevent the lubricant then reaching the outside world and contaminating ground or water; that's the environmental impact. Waste disposal associated with the mopping of a spill; you may be dealing with hazardous waste, which must be disposed of in a controlled fashion under the law. In this episode, I delve into Guillain Barre syndrome, a relatively common neurological disorder. I discuss the clinical manifestations of the disease which range from fairly rapid weakness and sensory impairment to pain and breathing difficulty. I also detail the long road to recovery from the disease. The podcast also discusses the almost limitless triggers for GBS, from infections and vaccinations to trauma and childbirth. I also review the pathology of the disease, explaining how a wide range of antibodies target the fatty myelin covering of the nerves to reduce the efficiency of electrical nerve transmission. The podcast also highlights the investigations of GBS, particularly spinal fluid analysis and nerve conduction studies, and the treatment of the disease, which canter around immune modulating agents. I also chronicle the history of the terminology of GBS, following the work of the three French physicians, Georges Guillain, Jean Alexandre Barré, and André Strohl. I refer in this theme to the book 'Guillain-Barre Syndrome: From Diagnosis to Recovery', by Gareth Parry and Joel Steinberg.I illustrate the clinical aspects of GBS with such graphic patient memoirs as those of Carole Williams, titled 'Chaos in Body and Mind', of Meg Lumsden, titled 'Unknown', of Wenesday Ketron titled 'Geeyahn What?', of Scott Earle titled 'The Wave of Guillain Barre Syndrome', and of Robin Sheppard titled 'A Solitary Confinement'.

Nine prisoners are walking free after being convicted in part on faulty evidence presented by Mississippi dentist Michael West and his pathological partner Dr. Steven Hayne. Seven of those nine convictions involved bite mark evidence, and three of the recently-freed men had been on death row. There is one inmate left who awaits execution based on evidence presented by the now defamed medical professionals, and state prosecutors aren't budging about his guilt. All the while, Louisiana had been gearing up for its first nitrogen gas execution, which has since been temporarily barred by a federal judge. Richard Webster, a reporter for Verite News and ProPublica has been following this closely, and joins us to share more. The 2025 March Madness tournaments are just around the corner, and all eyes are on the LSU women's basketball team. The Lady Tigers won the championship in 2023, and lost in the Elite Eight in 2024. While this year's squad will lack the familiar faces of Angel Reese and Haley Van Lith, fans will remember Flau'Jae Johnson, who has taken on a larger role with this year's team. And of course, there's the colorful coach Kim Mulkey and her unforgettable sideline jackets. Reed Darcey, who covers the team for the Baton Rouge Advocate, joins us to look back at the regular season and offer tournament predictions.___Today's episode of Louisiana Considered was hosted by Ryan Vasquez. My guest today is Sandy Rosenthal. After the near-destruction of New Orleans in 2005 while most were satisfied with the official narrative of "natural disaster", Sandy Rosenthal believed there was more to the story. It turned out there was. Rosenthal led an investigative team via the New Orleans-based group she founded––Levees.org––and discovered the real cause of the devastation: Faulty engineering which resulted in the death of at nearly 1,400 and $200 billion in property damage and business losses, not "Mother Nature." In a classic tale of "first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win", the Levees.org team succeeded not only in exposing the details of the failure, but also uncovering a multi-million dollar smear campaign––against the people of New Orleans, Levees.org and Sandy herself––funded with U.S. taxpayer dollars. By 2015, the news media, which had upheld the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' version of events, finally capitulated, and major news outlets like the Associated Press, New York Times and the BBC, officially changed their version of events to reflect the reality.Rosenthal's book "Words Whispered in Water" which documents this story is her first book. Levees.org exists to make sure the U.S Army Corps of Engineers is held accountable in New Orleans and throughout the U.S. where the lives and property of 201 million Americans depend on the integrity of their levees.. In this episode we discuss Hurricane Katrina, advocacy work, government failures and injustices.Website - https://levees.org/bio-sandy-rosenthal-founder-of-levees-org/IG - https://www.instagram.com/leveesorg/LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/rosenthalsandy/YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@Sandy_RosenthalSandy's Book - https://www.amazon.com/Words-Whispered-Water-Government-Corruption-ebook/dp/B096GVDD88?ref_=ast_author_mpbIn this episode you will learn:1. Change is possible when you stand up for and fight for what you believe in.2.What the power and impact of truth is.3. The importance of activism and how it can mobilize a community. “We were being blamed. The victims of this horrific flooding, this was no minor disaster. This was a bona fide catastrophe. Nearly 1,400 people died within a few hours.” - 00:04:38“Right after the flooding of New Orleans, I had a lot of reporters and journalists call me or email me and ask me, Okay, talk to me about how the poorer communities, the marginalized communities, talk to me about how their levies weren't as good as the wealthy people." 00:33:25“Don't be afraid. Don't worry that someone might not like what you're saying, because if it's not one person, it'd just be somebody else.” 00:58:23

The focus of this episode is our interpretation and understanding of women in the story of Scripture. We at BOW are thrilled to welcome once again Dr. Sandra Glahn of Dallas Seminary. In this recording Dr. Glahn talks with Kay Daigle about the way we interpret the stories of women in Scripture and how that affects our perspective of them. Additionally she suggests that we learn to understand them from the context and provides many examples of how to be true to the text--and there are so many! Whether you're a teacher of the Word or you're reading through the Bible and want to understand the women in the story of Scripture, you'll be encouraged as a woman by Dr. Glahn's insights and helps. You can also access this episode on video if you prefer. You may also want to access some of the many episodes featuring Dr. Glahn and her insights and scholarship. We're so happy to have you on video or our podcast. Our guest today is Dr. Sandra Glahn, who has been with us many times. Welcome, Sandi. Thank you for being here. Dr. Glahn >> Such a pleasure. Always a pleasure. Love what you're doing. Kay >> Thank you so much. I always contact Sandi once or twice a year and just say, what do you have going on? What can we talk about? Because I know what a blessing it will be to all of you out there. And today we are talking about “Women in the Story of Scripture.” And I'm particularly excited about this one. Why are you working on this right now? Do you want to give us a little background? Dr. Glahn >> Yeah. So I'm working on a book right now called A Woman's Place in the Story. And my pitch was basically this: First we had men's history, and we study David and we study the children of Israel, and we study Moses, which is important to study as Scripture is important. But we tended to initially just skip the women and then as a corrective have gone back and done studies on the women of the Bible, which we are not done doing, by the way. So it's still completely appropriate to have a women's study Bible and studies of women because so often they were left out. Example, you might have heard a sermon series on Genesis that skipped the story of Tamar, that's essential to the plot of Joseph's life and to his brother Judah. So my argument is we need to go beyond cameoing women. The ideal would be to just tell the story but include the women as they're in the story because they're serving an important function in the story. And so what I want to talk about now is some of the tools we need to see them so that we interpret what's happening appropriately. Kay >> Well, that's great. I'm really excited about this as a Bible teacher myself. So I know I'm going to learn from you today, and I suspect that everyone out there will as well. So first, let's talk just a little bit about the elements of story. Dr. Glahn >> You think about if you read a novel, you've got a character, you've got a plot, you've got a setting. One of the things to know when we're reading the Hebrew Bible is that often the land acts as much like a character as a person, and God's using the land and things like this—we'll get to the daughters of Zelophehad later. But just as an example: these women who come and they're concerned that their father's name will be forgotten,...

In this episode of the Pacey Performance Podcast, Nick Court, Johan Lahti, and Matthew Bourne discuss strategies for reducing hamstring injury risk in elite football players, emphasizing the importance of individualized training, eccentric conditioning, and movement mechanics. Despite advancements, hamstring injuries remain prevalent due to the increasing demands of high-speed running and eccentric contractions in sports. Eccentric training, particularly the Nordic hamstring exercise, has proven effective but remains underutilized due to compliance challenges and limited preseason time. Incorporating exercises like single-leg RDLs, hip extensions, and inertial training can further strengthen hamstrings and reduce injury risk. Proper sprint mechanics and balanced strength between the iliopsoas and hamstrings are critical. Faulty mechanics, such as excessive backward thigh movement, can increase strain on the hamstrings. A multifactorial approach, combining practical assessments, running kinematics, and targeted exercises, is essential for addressing individual risk factors and improving movement efficiency. Injury prevention also requires tailoring rehabilitation to each athlete's needs, using tools like handheld dynamometers and pulley systems to assess hamstring strength and endurance. Movement constraints, joint torque, and muscle-tendon junction adaptations should be considered in rehabilitation plans. Training programs must balance high-speed running exposure, eccentric conditioning, and varied running techniques to enhance stiffness and reduce fatigue-related risks. The podcast concludes that effective hamstring injury prevention relies on individualized strategies, incorporating both scientific evidence and practical tools, to address the unique demands and risks faced by elite athletes. These approaches ensure improved performance and reduced recurrence rates. Main talking points: Integrate eccentric conditioning Tailor injury prevention to individual athlete needs Focus on proper sprint mechanics to reduce strain Strengthen iliopsoas and hamstring balance for stability Use single-leg RDLs and hip extensions for strength Assess running mechanics to identify risk factors Incorporate varied running techniques to enhance movement Monitor high-speed running exposure in training programs Improve stiffness and control during fatigued states Use tools like dynamometers to assess hamstring strength Develop structured rehab plans with clear progression Address movement efficiency and biomechanics in prevention.
Not every ghostly encounter involves creepy shadows or eerie whispers—sometimes, it's as simple as a light turning on by itself. This odd tale takes place in a house built by the storyteller's grandparents, where nothing particularly spooky ever occurred—until a lamp started turning itself on. One night, after noticing the lamp had been on when no one was around, the storyteller thought it was just a strange glitch. But when it happened again, in a completely different room, with an entirely different lamp, it started to feel a lot more like something paranormal. Despite trying to brush it off, the unsettling incidents lingered in the back of their mind. Was it just faulty wiring, or was something from the past trying to make itself known?
