Lamont explains how investors can protect their portfolios against stagflation, and how to avoid being too exposed to the AI trade. He also explains why all-time highs might not actually be a sell signal for investors - and how AI-driven job losses might affect US stocks.https://www.schroders.com/en-us/us/institutional/insights/adapting-asset-allocation-to-the-risk-of-stagflation/ See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Send us Fan MailOne guy throws nearly a thousand punches and still leaves us debating what it means to “win a round.” We break down William Zepeda vs Lamont Roach from the ground up: Zepeda's relentless volume, Roach's clean counters, and the moments where a lack of follow-up changes the entire story of a fight. If you care about fight breakdown, pressure fighting, inside work, and how styles clash at lightweight, you'll feel right at home here. Then we get into the thing that keeps boxing fans arguing long after the bell: judging. We talk about why scorecards swing so wildly, what “effective aggression” actually looks like, and whether open scoring helps transparency or just creates new problems. We even kick around the future of AI judging and why it's not as simple as counting punches when power, control, and clean shots don't show up the same way on a spreadsheet. From there it's the wider boxing world: who Zepeda should fight next, why the lightweight division feels stacked, and why Shakur Stevenson's weight-class moves keep creating confusion. We also hit Devin Haney's potential money fights, the Keyshawn Davis controversy and what it could mean for his career, plus a run through upcoming cards, heavyweight chatter like Fury vs Joshua location talk, and how TikTok Live boxing events show where promotion is headed.THE SPAR-INN ON YOUTUBE

Supplier diversity programs have been part of procurement's purview for decades, and they have changed a lot during that time. The categories of supplier ownership have expanded and become better defined, success metrics have narrowed, and initiatives like ESG have altered how companies relate to the program as a whole. Today, the most notable change to supplier diversity is… the silence. In this episode of The Sourcing Hero podcast, Host Kelly Barner welcomes back Lamont Robinson. Lamont is a leading voice on supplier diversity, but that doesn't mean he's hesitant to reexamine and reimagine everything about the practice. Lamont envisions supplier diversity programs that are both business-driven and legally defensible for long term impact: Why an over-reliance on spend as a performance metric has skewed the impact of supplier diversity programs and even held them back Whether the many categories of ‘diverse' suppliers can (or should) be managed in the same way or whether they require a more varied approach Practical advice for diversity-minded procurement professionals, whether they own their company's program or not Why he feels optimistic for the future of supplier diversity Links: Lamont Robinson on LinkedIn
In this episode of Genetics in Your World, GSA Early Career Scientist Multimedia Subcommittee co-chair Anindya Ganguly and member Racheal Asaolu interview Colin LaMont of University of Oslo. They discuss LaMont's work which presents a new mathematical method for calculating how strongly selection favors a genetic variant directly from an evolutionary tree, without knowledge of exact population history, finding that ancestral lineages act like strategists anticipating future selection rather than just responding to it in the moment. Read his paper titled, "Optimal control and the dynamics of ancestral lineages," published in the August 2026 issue of GENETICS: https://doi.org/10.1093/genetics/iyag122 Music: Loopster Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com). He's back for a third time, and he still has plenty to say. Jamie Lamont, VP of Events at Sinai Health Foundation, is one of the most experienced voices in Canadian fundraising events — and one of Amy's favourite people to think out loud with. This episode is a can't miss and covers a lot of ground: what's kept Jamie in the sector for decades, how he approaches leadership in a world full of micromanagers, how to attract the next generation of donors, and the event trend he's watching that most organizations haven't caught onto yet. There's also a sneak peek at something brand new coming out of Sinai that you're going to want to steal. If you've ever wondered how a seasoned VP thinks about building events, building teams, and building the case for both — this is the conversation for you.Key components:What Jamie says has kept him in fundraising events for decades, and why the trust organizations gave him to create and innovate made all the differenceHow to make a business case to leadership: Jamie's practical approach to pitching up the chain without losing the roomThe event trend he's watching: boutique, crafted events designed around a specific donor pool — and why "spray and pray" is losing groundDesignated vs. undesignated funds through events, and how Sinai is designing new events to balance bothWhy the impact conversation needs to replace the cost-to-raise-a-dollar conversation, and what that shift actually looks like"Find the empty spaces and the places where we can go and play — where there's not a lot of noise already, but that makes sense to the donors we're trying to attract."Connect with Jamie on LinkedInCheck out Sinai Health Foundation

On 27 September 2025, 4 year old Gus Lamont disappeared from his family's remote sheep station, Oak Park Station, in South Australia's outback. Gus was last seen playing outside the homestead before vanishing during a 30 minute window. Despite four large-scale searches no trace of Gus has ever been found. In February 2026, police declared the investigation a major crime and identified a resident of the property as a suspect after finding inconsistencies in their account of the events. On the podcast, we examine the timeline surrounding Gus's disappearance which to us did not make any sense. We also look at clues and theories raised publicly by Gus's grandmother, Josie Murray, including her claims of unusual vehicle tracks and other suspicious observations.Contact us at: weeknightmysteries@gmail.comInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/weeknightmysteriesTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@weeknightmysteries

Send us Fan MailWhat no one tells you about making money online is that online business, entrepreneurship, AI business, digital marketing, SaaS, venture capital, bootstrapping, Gen Z careers, and personal branding are often sold through the same manufactured FOMO. In this conversation, Riley Lamont explains why distribution matters more than product, why most people should not become entrepreneurs, and how online gurus can quietly shape your definition of success.Riley breaks down the difference between building a real company and chasing short-term internet income, the hidden cost of venture funding, and why some $400,000 employees live better than founders. Which came first: the business or the purpose? For most companies, the answer is the business. But Tony's Chocolonely turned that formula upside down.In this episode of Purpose 360, Carol Cone welcomes Douglas Lamont, CEO of Tony's Chocolonely, for a fascinating conversation about one of the world's most purpose-driven companies. Founded by investigative journalists determined to expose child labor and exploitation in the cocoa industry, Tony's wasn't created to sell chocolate—it was created to prove that chocolate could be made differently.Douglas shares how Tony's has transformed that original act of advocacy into a global brand while staying relentlessly focused on its mission. He explains why the company calls itself an impact company, how its sourcing model and Mission Lock governance structure protect purpose at scale, and why transparency, collaboration, and creativity are essential to driving systemic change.Whether you're leading a purpose-driven business, building one from the ground up, or simply curious about how business can become a force for good, this conversation offers practical leadership lessons and an inspiring vision for what's possible.Purpose 360 is produced by TruStory FM.Full Show Notes & ResourcesView on YouTube (00:00) - Welcome to Purpose 360 (00:13) - Tony's Chocolonely • Douglas Lamont (03:16) - Childhood Influences (05:32) - Favorite Flavor (06:07) - Origin Story (10:28) - Becoming the Company It Is Today (11:42) - Shifting Careers (12:45) - How They Fight Exploitation (18:42) - Five Principles (20:11) - Reporting Good and Bad (21:33) - Advice for Building Brand (22:29) - Two Governance Tracks (25:31) - Marketing (29:34) - The Name (31:07) - Advice to Young People (33:21) - Advice for Social Entrepreneurs (34:11) - Rapid Fire Questions (36:58) - Last Word (38:04) - Wrap Up
