En el episodio de hoy vamos a hablar de las marcas de cámaras olvidadas. Y es que durante estos podcasts veraniegos hemos repasado que cámaras comprar en este 2021, centrándonos en las que más venden. Hemos hecho monográficos de Sony, Canon, FujiFilm, Nikon y Olympus. Y en el episodio de hoy vamos a repasar las marcas que son igualmente buenas, pero que están un poco olvidadas. Hablamos de Pentax, Panasonic y Hasselblad. Pero aunque estemos en verano, los cursos de la academia de vivir de la fotografía no para y también puedes seguir contratando nuestras consultorías sobre marketing para fotógrafos y fotógrafas. Es fácil caer en el pensamiento de que si ves a muchos compañeros de profesión y aficionados con ciertas marcas es porque esas son las mejores. Y no es cierto, ya hemos dicho muchas veces que a día de hoy, es casi imposible encontrar una cámara mala. Y que muchas personas opten por una marca en específico no quiere decir nada, bueno si... que es más popular. Es más, en tu país puede que se venda poco una marca o apenas veas esas cámaras en la calle, pero en otro país sea un multiventas. Es cierto que existe la desventaja al encontrar equipo de segunda mano de las marcas de cámaras olvidadas. Pero más allá de eso, no tendrás ninguna otra desventaja. Y aunque hay muchas marcas fotográficas que fabrican cámaras, nos vamos a centrar en tres que aportan algo especial. Por ejemplo no vamos a hablar de Leica, que aunque fabrica estupendas cámaras y objetivos tienen unos precios infladisimos. Tampoco vamos a repasar las cámaras de sigma, ya que van más orientadas al video que a otra cosa y en muchas ocasiones son muy difíciles de conseguir. Lo primero es hablar de las claves que hacen destacar a Panasonic como fabricante de cámaras fotográficas: Son de las cámaras más apreciadas para hacer vídeo, pero la parte de fotografía es perfecta también.En la parte del enfoque se han quedado un poquito atrás, ya que solo enfocan por contraste.En su gama G y GH (sensor micro4/3) son cámaras con cuerpos muy pequeños y robustos. Incluso su Lumix S5 a pesar de tener sensor full frame es algo más pequeña que su Lumix GH5 (con la mitad de sensor). Y para los amantes de las cámaras grandes, Panasonic ofrece su gama S1 y diferentes versiones. Quizás la marca que menos ruido hace últimamente es Pentax. Es la única marca de cámaras de fotografía que sigue apostando únicamente por el formato reflex, tanto con sensores apsc como full frame. Y más allá de que sea una gran opción para quien no quiere pasarse al formato sin espejo, pero que quiera estabilizador óptico en el cuerpo y sobre todo que quiera un tanque. Y es que sin duda las cámaras más robustas y que mejor aguantan los golpes, agua y el polvo son estas pentax. Y sin olvidar que tienen algo que no ofrece ninguna otra marca de cámaras, me refiero al astrotracer. Una funcionalidad genial y única para quien le guste la astrofotografía. Y como puntos negativos es que al mantener el sistema reflex no han podido avanzar en el enfoque y en las opciones de vídeo, quedandose un poco atrás respecto a la competencia. Y como no queríamos acabar este repaso a las marcas de cámaras olvidadas no podíamos dejar fuera las empresas que se dedican únicamente a sensores de formato medio. Y entre ellas hemos querido destacar a Hasselblad, quizás la marca más mítica de este segmento de sensores históricamente. Y además ahora algunas de sus cámaras han bajado mucho de precio debido a la competencia que le estan haciendo otras empresas como la gama GFX de FujiFilm o algunas cámaras full frame que cuentan con muchos megapixeles. Aunque entendemos que son cámaras muy exclusivas, no solo por su precio. Si no porque están orientadas a un sector muy minoritario.

THe FW 2.0 should be ready for download by the end of September 2017.   Hasselblad released a FW 1.17.2 update for their medium format mirrorless X1D-50c camera (https://bhpho.to/2wb3CDl) that adds the option of electronic shutter that operates between 1/10.000s and 68 minutes. They have also added the option to chose between 3 resizable AF points that allow for a focus point grid of 35 AF points for the largest and 117 AF points for the smallest AF point settings. Mirrorless question of the month: Hi Scott / Marco, absolutely love your show. Here is my question: If I want to get into wildlife photography, which entry-level mirrorless camera would you recommend for someone coming from DSLR? Why I'm asking: it's not clear for me if the Olympus E-M10 II as the E-M1's smaller sibling would be up to the task, although it doesn't have the E-M1 Mk II's phase detection AF. Would something like the Fuji X-T20 (which supports PD AF) be a better option? Looking forward to your recommendation!
