We're stepping into the Sloss and Humphries era of the weekend double bill (Muggins and Cream haven't fallen out we promise) To commence your harvest Rosco joins Kai for some meandering flights of fancy that lead you from playing You Bet with Mathew Kelly to guess dogs bums to playing conkers with a tooth on a donut hair. It all makes sense in the moment I'm sure.

Are you by yourself right now? No, I don't mean are you alone… I mean, are you the only one in your organization managing partnerships? I know I am! And in that respect we aren't alone… in a recent survey of 664 professionals by Hubspot and Partnership Leaders, 59.6% of the respondents reported having at least one employee working full time on partner operations. The report went on to share some pretty interesting findings with regard to the size of partner ops, the different kinds of partnerships and metrics involved, and the impact all of that has on company revenue. But what does that industry really look like? What kinds of partnerships are companies exploring today, and how are they managing that? Should you hire more staff? Invest in more partner tech? Explore more integrations? That's exactly what our guests today are going to talk to us about, and you and I are lucky because I have twice as many guests as usual in the studio today. Kelly Sarabyn is the Platform Ecosystem Advocate at HubSpot, where she is responsible for growing the ecosystem through partner content and engagement. Before that, she worked in marketing at Pandium, and was a partner at Woden, a branding agency. She believes companies that leverage partnerships and ecosystems can drive more revenue and build stronger brands. And I definitely agree with her on that. Asher Mathew is a co-founder of Partnership Leaders. He's worked in sales, marketing, customer success and business development, as well as partnerships in venture and bootstrapped businesses. Partnership Leaders is the top community for partnerships and alliance leaders looking to advance their career and improve their partner programs. So clearly, we've got the right people on the show today! Partnership Unpacked host Mike Allton talked to Asher Mathew & Kelly Sarabyn about: ♉️ How brands are growing using different kinds of partnerships ♉️ How different partnership programs are driving revenue, and real ROI ♉️ Why tech-savvy brands are driving more revenue from partners Learn more about Asher Mathew Connect with Asher on LinkedIn Connect with Asher on Twitter Learn more about Kelly Sarabyn Connect with Kelly on LinkedIn Resources & Brands mentioned in this episode The State of Partnership Ops Report HubSpot Partnership Leaders Subscribe to the show calendar: agorapulse.com/calendar Learn more about Agorapulse with a free demo Full Notes & Transcript: https://www.thesocialmediahat.com/blog/the-state-of-partnership-ops-in-2023-w-asher-mathew-amp-kelly-sarabyn/ Brought to you by Agorapulse: the #1 rated social media management solution. I like parts of this book and not others, but it's probably the most "aggressive" of any book I've read on what it takes to achieve some kind of life satisfaction.

Happy New Year! From a request from a longtime frirend of the Deadpod - I've decided to celebrate the end of 2020 with this fun and raucous show from NYE 1982. I'll present this one over the next couple weeks and hope can feel and enjoy the fun that the band and everyone in attendance had on this special night 39 years ago. The first set which we'll hear this week is a bit short, but still well played and tight. Garcia's voice is a bit creaky but he makes up for it with some very nice work on the guitar. A long 'C.C. Rider' has Mathew Kelly sitting in, but I believe Brent adds much to this one (and throughout the set). 'Cumberland Blues' is for me the highlight here as Jerry really brings some nice licks. Brent delivers a short but nice 'Far From Me', Weir is forceful as usual on 'Cassidy' and a bit screechy at times on 'Looks Like Rain' but these are fine versions. 'Ramble On Rose' always brings a smile, and a 'Day Job' to end the year seems quite appropriate. Oakland Auditorium Oakland, CA 12/31/82 - Friday One Cold Rain And Snow ; C C Rider ; Cumberland Blues ; Far From Me ; Cassidy ; Ramble On Rose ; Looks Like Rain ; Keep Your Day Job You can listen to this week's Deadpod here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/deadshow/deadpod010121.mp3 A word of thanks for your kind support over the holidays and throughout this last, difficult year. I very much appreciate your kindness. May these songs fill the air with much joy and well being this next year! "Sometimes when the cuckoo's crying When the moon is half way down Sometimes when the night is dying I take me out and I wander around I wander round"

Transformation Tuesdays was inspired by the CD "The Jesus Question" by Matthew Kelly. Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione and Aaron Emig recap the Gospel from the prior Sunday and give action steps and resources to transform our lives for that week every Tuesday at 2:10 p.m. at Morris Hall from Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL…A Spiritual Home from Everyone… Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: Hello, I’m Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione Aaron Emig: And I’m Aaron Emig We are celebrating the Fourth Sunday of Easter… The Question for this week is…Do we recognize the Lord in our life? The Gospel comes from: John 10:1-10 Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: During Jesus' time, shepherds protected their flocks with their own bodies. A sheep pen was merely a wall of loosely connected rocks with a single entrance. At night, the shepherd often slept across the entrance so that his body became a protection for the sheep from their own straying or from thieves or predators. we are called to rely on the Lord Jesus to protect us and to direct us. And we must trust that like a good shepherd, Jesus will be there even during those difficult times, to lead us to safety. Aaron Emig: In this week’s Gospel… Jesus says that He is the gate to eternal life… He is our shepherd and he want us to know His and He wants to know our voices... Jesus is telling us that we have that personal relationship we will be saved… It’s His promise to all of us… How is your personal relationship with Jesus right now? Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: We need direction. We need protection. We need Jesus Christ. We call ourselves Christians because we are followers of Christ, but also Jesus follows after us, helping us to get into line, protecting us from the things in life that could be harmful or even destroy us. We may think sometimes that we are invincible or that we can do it on our own. We think that we don’t need God. We can do it our way. But that’s not true. We are supposed to be dependent upon the Lord. That's why we pray every day. That's why we come to Church every week. That's why we receive the Eucharist. His is the strength that gives meaning, purpose and direction to our lives. So, let’s not confuse the roles here, we are the sheep dependent upon Jesus, the Good Shepherd to protect us and lead us. The one who protects us and leads us along His way. Aaron Emig: Like my Mathew Kelly says… If you don’t do anything in your life, the only thing that you should do is to get to know the shepherd… We need to have regular daily prayer time with Jesus… We just to discuss with Him what is in your mind and within your heart… Jesus will respond but it’s normally not our timeframe… We need to grow each and every day with Jesus beside us… Deacon Jim Ghiglione: Wisdom Words for the Week Are… “I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly." John 10:10 Aaron Emig: Transformation Tool… The Joy of the Gospel book by Pope Francis Our Papa basically tells us why the Gospel is the foundation of Christianity and how it helps us build that personal relationship with Jesus… We are giving free copies of the book at Morris Hall on each Tuesday at 2:10 p.m.… Again, on while supplies last… Aaron Emig: Transformation Tuesdays Prayer… “Jesus, how do You want me to transform my life today?” Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: Easter Blessing… May God continue to bless each and every one of you, may He fill your lives with Easter joy today and every day. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: God Bless from Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church…A Spiritual Home for Everyone
Don told me, " I watched Benidorm this week to see if there was any improvement…absolute rubbish…badly written with a collection of mismatched characters who can’t act…with a string of unfunny jokes and a helping of bad taste…plus an appearance by Mathew Kelly to add to the trash….ITV have hit rock bottom with this one. The BBC are a bit worried about their viewers using modern technology to watch their programmes on I Player…because apparently the licence fee only applies to LIVE tele….so when you watch recorded stuff you may not need a licence….I’ve always said the Beeb want sorting out…they have just abandoned a set up which was to involve a “digital storer” designed to store thousands of programmes…it failed…it cost 20 million quid…which has now gone down the drain…nice to know where our licence fee goes. .I watched the Paul and Ringo get together on the Grammy Awards…I must say they both looked good…I’m going to invest in whatever make-up they were using….I thought Katy Perry was quality as she was burnt at the stake…and Pink who was hanging from a rope around her ankles and spinning round…makes me glad I’ve semi retired if that’s what you’ve gotta do to get a gig these days. There’s quite a lot on the tele about the Great War with it being the anniversary…the diaries were fascinating showing that there was a lot more to it all than “going over the top”…all this should be shown as it should never be forgotten…whether we will ever learn is another matter. Coach Trip is back with good old Brendan camping it up…I must say I love this programme…especially the last bit when they have to vote someone off….also there is another good programme with Griff Rhys Jones travelling around Wales..this week was Anglesey…brilliant. The latest is to make smoking in cars where there are children illegal….what next?....in my opinion people who smoke anywhere should be issued with a goldfish bowl to be worn over their head so they can recycle their own smoke…but then again I don’t endulge…..but the people who come up with these ideas should be employed to enforce them instead of giving the police more work." ....and we looked at other news headlines that are taking the eye.....
