In this episode, Mercedes talks about the process of making The Wine Lover's Jelly, the variety of different jellies available, and the partnerships and expansion that she is experiencing having only been making The Wine Lover's Jelly for a little over a year now. Mercedes talks about her upbringing and how she really credits her mom for the enormous amount of work ethic that was instilled in her youth, which really says a lot about the kind of person she is today. Mercedes talks about her husband Jason and how amazing it is to have him by her side along this entrepreneurial journey. Mercedes talks about the importance of risk-taking and how you should never be worried or concerned about the things people are going to say or think in relation to your business. Mercedes also talks about some of the people who inspire her the most in her industry such as Elaine Bell, a wildly successful caterer out of the Napa Valley, and the Brown Family of Brown Estate, Napa Valley's first African American Estate Winery established in 1996.
