All Saints Cigars came into the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show with a themed booth with a confessional, candles, and a pew. All Saints chose not to exhibit new product this year. Instead, the company focused on leveraging its unified sales force with Micallef Cigars. Following PCA, All Saints and Micallef ended their unified sales operation. At the same time, both companies leveraged the unified model to do business at PCA 2024.  While All Saints didn't have new product at PCA, they have told us that later this year they should be announcing something new. Regardless, All Saints Cigars is always one of our favorite stops at the PCA Trade Show; PCA 2024 wouldn't be complete without Bear Duplisea and All Saints co-owner Micky Pegg having their annual "bear hug." When the company first launched in 2019, it turned out the first release that would come to market was a cigar called Solamente. This was a cigar that was originally released by accident. The blend was being worked on back in 2017 by co-owner Micky Pegg. Without his knowledge, the factory ended up rolling 15,000 cigars. A decision was made to release these cigars as a limited edition release called Solamente. After that, Pegg and All Saints Cigars turned their attention to their core lines. This year All Saints Cigars felt the time was right to bring back Solamente, so now it joins the All Saints lineup as an annual limited release. This would be the focus of All Saint Cigars in terms of new products at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA), but there were a couple of other fun things. For starters, keeping to the theme of All Saints Cigars, there was an actual confessional in the booth. Coming in at #22 is the All Saints St. Francis Toro. All Saints Fine Cigars was founded by industry veteran Micky Pegg. Pegg was Vice President of Sales at CAO Cigars, and prior to that worked at Davidoff, Felipe Gregorio Cigars, and Georgetown Tobacco. Shortly after CAO was absorbed into General Cigar Company, Pegg would take a hiatus from the cigar industry, but eventually would drawn back and launch a company. That company would be All Saints Fine Cigars. The St. Francis Line would be his second line released just prior to the 2021 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show. The St. Francis is produced at Rocky Patel's TAVICUSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It features a Nicaraguan binder and filler wrapped by an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. The Toro size which lands on the list is a 6 1/2 x 50 box-pressed vitola. The All Saints St. Francis Toro delivers a balanced medium strength, medium-bodied profile consisting of notes of coffee, cedar, citrus, pepper, baker's spice, and chocolate. If you are looking for a cigar with classic black coffee flavors that come from the natural tobacco leaves (ie. no flavoring or infusion), the All Saints St. Francis Oscuro Toro is the cigar for you.
