Altadis USA just released its newest line, an extension of the Romeo y Julieta line called the Reserva Real Nicaragua Profundo. This new cigar is a collaboration between AJ Fernandez and Rafael Nodal, rolled at AJ Fernandez's factory in Nicaragua (though which one is not disclosed), from tobacco grown on his farm. The cigar features an “extra-fermentated” Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers. Retail on the robusto is $11.25. Coming in at #5 Cigar of the Year for 2025 is the Domain Entropy Robusto Gordo. Domain Cigars is a new company that launched in March 2024. The company is part of a partnership between Esteban Disla and Daniel Lance. One thing that is quite interesting about Domain Cigars is that they are not just entering the market as a brand, but as a full-service tobacco company. This includes agriculture, tobacco processing, tobacco brokering, and cigar making under its own factory, Tabacalera Familia Disla. Domain Entropy is the third regular production line under the brand. This cigar follows Domain's path of naming cigars after concepts in physics, as the brand's first two lines were Neutron and Negentropy. In 2019, Fratello Cigars released a sampler known as the Fratello Space Pack. In that sampler were two unreleased blends: Sorella and Arlequín. Following the sampler release and based on the feedback received, Sorella and Arlequín were added to the Fratello portfolio. Sorella would be launched in the international market, while Arlequín would focus on the U.S. market. Although the blend remained the same, the Arlequín would be adjusted into a box-pressed format.
