Well, one day, while he was exploring a forest on Vancouver Island, close to where he lived at the time. To his surprise, he came upon an old, abandoned Buick, that was just sitting in the woods. After taking a look at it, he saw that it had parts on it he could use, so he decided to come back and salvage those parts, at a later time. Unfortunately, when he did go back to get them, something made its presence known to him that made him decide that he didn't need the parts that bad, after all. On January 23rd, of 2023, tonight's guest was riding his bike to an old campground that was close to the town of Greenville, Missouri. His dog, Sabot, was out getting his exercise too, running with. Tonight's guest, Donna Copas, has being interacting with Sasquatch since she was 6 years old. Donna doesn't call them Sasquatch, however. She calls them the Watchers, due to her being of Shawnee descent. You see, when Donna was only 6 years old, her dad took her into the woods with him, to dig for yellow root. Her dad was always heading into the woods to harvest ginseng, yellow root, and other things. That day, after digging up some yellow root, her dad stood up, walked over to a nearby stump, and pulled out some tobacco. He then proceeded to put the tobacco on the stump and walked away from the stump. Not long after he did that, Donna saw a huge figure stand up, close to the stump and walk over to it, to retrieve the tobacco. Naturally, Donna had a ton of questions for her dad about what she was looking at. That's when her dad told her not to worry. He told her that he was just a Watcher and that he wouldn't hurt her. That event marked the beginning of her dad teaching her about the Watchers and she's been interacting with them ever since. Tonight's guest, Titus, grew up in Southern Wisconsin and had his Sasquatch sighting about 20 years ago. He had his sighting while he was at a hobby farm a friend of his mother owned. Joining Titus and his mother was one of Titus' siblings. Even though his mother and that sibling were merely 50 feet away from him, when he saw the Sasquatch, calling out to them never crossed his mind. He was so gob smacked, due to the experience, trying to bring their attention to the Sasquatch he was staring at was something he never considered doing. Tonight's guest, Rob Effler, is from Western North Carolina. In 2023, he started North Carolina Investigates with co-founder George Lunsford. Prior to that, in 2007, he was the founder of GoDark Paranormal Investigations. In 2012, he started to receive reports of Sasquatch sightings in his area of North Carolina. In 2002, around 8:30 or 9 PM, tonight's guest, “T.J.” and her sister left their parent's house to walk home. Their parents had invited them over for dinner and seeing that they lived next door to their parents, they only had to walk about 600 feet to make it to their front door. T.J.'s dog, Kaylee, was with them. Considering how short of a walk it was going to be and the fact they had made the walk numerous times before, they expected it to be uneventful. As fate would have it, it turned out to be anything but. It all started when Kaylee started barking fervently at something in a cornfield they were walking past. Tonight's guest, Darrell Adams, moved to Oregon in 2011, after retiring from his union construction job. Darrell wasn't interested in Sasquatch, but his brother has been fascinated with them for a long time. After finding out that Darrell had moved to Oregon, his brother asked him to keep an eye out for evidence of Sasquatch activity. After his brother let him know what to look for, he found a lot of evidence that Sasquatch actually were in the areas he was hunting in. Until he started finding evidence that they were in the area, Darrell didn't even believe in their existence. After finding all of the evidence he started to find, however, he had a paradigm shift. At that point, he became a believer. It wasn't long after that that he became a knower, though. He had his first sighting. Tonight's guest, Bill Rigby, used to want to have a Sasquatch sighting of his own more than just about anything. As he found out, however, there's a difference between hoping to see a Sasquatch and being ready to see one. That's a lesson he learned the hard way, in Salt Fork State Park, in Ohio. You see, Bill had a sighting there one evening where he found himself just 15 feet from a 7-foot-tall Sasquatch. After having that sighting, he lost all interest in heading back into the woods. If not for a phone conversation with Tim, “Coonbo” Baker, Bill probably would have sworn off going back into the woods for good. That conversation helped him regain his confidence, however, and head back in. Now, he's back out there, doing field investigations. Tonight's guest, Kenneth Medsker, is the founder of the Montana Idaho Bigfoot Research Group and he authored a book called “My Personal Quest to Understand Bigfoot.” Kenneth had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1978 and that experience is what triggered Kenneth's desire to find out as much as he possibly could about Sasquatch.
