In May of 2023, Crystal was sitting at a traffic light, near a well-known landmark in Pennsylvania, when she had a Sasquatch sighting. The landmark is called Horseshoe Curve. Horseshoe Curve is a winding series of curves, bridges, and tunnels that a railroad track winds through and over, near Altoona, Pennsylvania. Due to all that tonight's guest has been through, as a direct result of her having the most horrific kind of Dogman encounter, I'm going to keep everything about her totally anonymous. Tonight's guest, Shawn Brackenridge, is a Dogman investigator who doesn't believe in living in your fears. Having said that, even he gets unsettled when he and his research partner visit the area around the Lake Medina Dam, near Mico, Texas. Every time Shawn has visited the dam, the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The dam is different than any other dam Shawn has seen, when you consider the lengths county officials have gone to, to keep people away from the dam. 7-foot fences surround the dam that are topped with razor wire. Shawn doesn't have to guess why the county has gone to such lengths to keep people away from the dam. He's had multiple encounters with something there that would definitely make the county want to keep people away. Locals who live near the dam don't go outside, after dark. They stay inside their homes. Shawn spoke with a man who works at a shop, in the area, who told Shawn that he won't go outside after dark there, either. Tonight's guest, Casey, used to love camping at the seasonal campground he owns, in the White Mountain National Forest, near Lincoln, New Hampshire. The campground is a beautiful place and Casey has gone camping there, every summer, for the past 10 years. It really is a shame, but Casey had an experience at his campground, a few weeks ago, that has forever tarnished the beauty he sees in the woods. It was an experience that was so frightening, so intense, he vomited right before I called him, for the first time, due to him thinking about what happened to him that evening. David Belford lives on a 22-acre property that is forested and mountainous, in West Virginia. He's had two Sasquatch sightings and both of them happened while he was on his property. He's also a team member of the WV Case Bigfoot Collective. That's a Sasquatch investigation team that an investigator named Les O'Dell created. Dave has been into Bigfooting for 10 years or more. What sparked his interest in Sasquatch was a documentary he saw that featured Dr. Jeffery Meldrum. When Dave had his first sighting, in June of last year, he was taking his dog, Ted, out at 3 AM. Bryan is an avid kayaker and camper who lives in Central Iowa. Bryan spends as much of his free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors. Unfortunately, he had an experience, in May or June of 2016, that tarnished his love of being in the great outdoors. When he had that experience, he and 13 of his friends were kayaking down the Middle Racoon River. Some of them were very experienced at kayaking, others were novices. Thomas Shay is the founder of the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. Tom has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon since 1987. That's when he had his first Sasquatch-related experience. You see, in 1987, Tom was heading to see his girlfriend, in Carlton, Kentucky, on US 36, when he had his first sighting. It was 85 degrees out, that day, so Tom was surprised when he saw what he, at first, thought was a man in a fur coat, on the side of the highway. As he got closer, he slowed down to a very slow speed and slowly went past the subject. After creeping by the subject, he felt like he didn't get a good enough look at it, so he turned his car around, parked it on the side of the road, and got out so he could follow the subject down into a field. Moments later, Tom realized that was a poor decision. From that day on, Tom tried to learn all he could about Sasquatch. Dusty Ruth is the leader of BFRO expeditions in Ohio. He's also an investigator for the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. Tim and Eric Vogel went to see Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot in the winter of 1976, when they were in their teens. Seeing that movie really sparked their interest in Sasquatch. About a month after seeing that movie, during a big snowstorm, something happened one morning that completely set the hook in them, with regards to their interest in the topic. The storm had dropped about 28 inches of snow on the area where Tim and Eric lived, in Western Massachusetts, and when the looked out their window that morning, they saw a horde of people in their driveway. There were Bigfoot investigators, news reporters, and other people out there who were focused on a trail of big tracks that led across their property. It turned out to be a hoax that a kid in their area had been responsible, but the damage was already done. Tim and Eric couldn't get enough of the Bigfoot topic. Tonight's guest, Kathleen Tedder, had her first Sasquatch sighting when she was 4 years old and over the years, since then, she's had sightings in 7 different states. You see, when Kathy was 4 years old, her family lived in Alaska. One day, back then, she was sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the Dutch door, on the back wall of their kitchen. Suddenly, she saw what her 4-year-old mind identified as being a man-bear eating cherries, from a cherry tree outside. The “man-bear” was brown and about 8 feet tall. Being as young as Kathy was, she decided that her best course of action would be to run out to him and give him a hug. So, she got up and started to run outside to do that. She had made it 3 steps out the door when, suddenly, her father grabbed her by the seat of her pants and pulled her back inside. As her father was pulling her back inside the house, the “man-bear” did something she'll never forget. What it did made a lasting impact on Kathy that she's still moved by to this day. Kirk does most of his investigating in the Cascade Mountains but occasionally heads over to the Olympics or North Central Washington to look for evidence. Tonight's guest, Karl Sieling, had his Bigfoot sighting in 1976 while he was walking down a set of railroad tracks, in a heavily forested area, near Newtown, Connecticut. When his sighting happened, he was on the way to his buddy's house. Sometimes, he would walk or bike about a mile and a half to his buddy's house, using roads in the area. This day, he decided to walk on a set of train tracks that ran right past his house, through a forest and then right past his buddy's house. If he walked the tracks, instead of taking roads in the area, he'd save himself about a half mile on the trip. He had walked those tracks, to his buddy's house, numerous times before without any incident. That interest in them began at a young age too. Tonight's guests, Beth Kolasinski and Nolan Shelby, are mother and son. In late February, of 2018, the two of them were heading home from Nolan's last high school basketball game, in Flint, Michigan. They live in Howell, Michigan, so they had a fairly long drive to get home. Beth doesn't like driving on highways, so she prefers to take back roads, instead of driving on highways, so she took back roads home from the basketball game that night. When they were about 25 miles from home, they were in a desolate area where there was nothing but a lot of open fields. It was raining that night, so their view of the countryside wasn't the best.
