Tonight's guest, Brett Ford, had two encounters with what some people would call Bearwolves, while he and his family were visiting Newfoundland, last summer. The encounters happened in fairly quick succession, on the same night, which makes Brett think they were connected somehow. The two Bearwolves/Dogmen he saw were definitely different creatures, as they looked different from one another. The first one he saw, near Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, had more of an athletic build. Tonight's guest, Tim, lives in Florida, but he was born and raised in the mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania where he did an extensive amount of hunting, fishing, and trapping. At a young age, Tim joined the U.S. Army and served as an infantryman. While he was serving our country, at Fort Carson, in Colorado, he had his first of 4 Bigfoot sightings. When he had his first sighting, he observed a family of Sasquatch, at a distance, through the optics of a missile-guided anti-tank system that was mounted on the armored personnel carrier he was in, at the time. Tonight's guest, Rick, had his Dogman encounter one night, in 1990, around dusk. He was sitting in church with his wife, at the time, when he realized he had heard the sermon the pastor was just starting to give. When he realized he had already heard it, he told his wife that he was going to take a ride in his 85 Chevy pickup truck to kill some time. Not long after he had left the church, he turned down a secluded road that hadn't been used in a very long time. It was around 8 PM, so it was dusky/dark outside. To help him see better, he turned the overhead lights on, on his truck's rollbar. Seconds after he did that, he saw a huge creature, that wasn't supposed to exist, start climbing down the trunk of a tree that was about 50 yards from the side of the road. As the monstrosity was climbing down the trunk, Rick could hear its claws tearing the bark. At that point, Rick was rapidly approaching the part of the road that was closest to where the creature was. Curiosity got the best of him, so he stopped his truck and got out. Tonight's first guest, Josh, had his first Bigfoot sighting around 2002, in Davis County Kentucky. At the time, he was helping his uncle clear a treeline on a property he owned with his bulldozer. The property had a lot of hills and deep ravines, because his property was close to where the Ohio River river bottoms started. Josh and his uncle had been working for some time when, all of a sudden, Josh heard a tremendous roar ring out behind him. The roar was so loud, it was easy to hear over all the noise his uncle's bulldozer was making. Josh turned to look for the source of the sound and saw animals scattering, so he knew he wasn't the only one who had heard the roar. Not knowing what to make of it, he turned back and continued watching his uncle operate the bulldozer. About 10 minutes later, Josh felt a creepy feeling coming over him, so he turned around again to see if he could determine what might have been causing that. When he turned to look, his eyes fell upon an old barn that was sitting just inside the tree line and 50 to 60 yards behind him. To his shock, standing in the doorway of the barn was a huge figure, leaning out of the doorway, looking right at Josh. Immediately, Josh told himself that what he was looking at didn't exist in Kentucky. You could only find Sasquatch in the Pacific Northwest. His eyes told him a different story, however…Tonight's second guest, Jason Monk, had his Bigfoot sighting in 1994, about 10 miles south of Samson, Alabama. You see, when he was 16 years old, his step-dad and his uncle used to take him deer hunting in a stand of woods close to the Florida line, just north of the Pea River. When Jason, his step-dad, and uncle went to that stand of woods to scope it out, before season started, they would notice strange things. One day, in December, a few weeks before Jason's 17th birthday, Jason had fallen asleep in his tree stand. The tree he was in was swaying in the breeze that day. Considering how drowsy Jason was, from being up before the crack of dawn, that just helped an already drowsy kid fall asleep. Jason doesn't know how long he had been asleep when, all of a sudden, he heard a loud snap, like something was coming through the reeds. Tonight's guest, Mike Tornincasa, started out as a paranormal investigator, but due to a series of experiences he had while doing field investigations in places with a history of paranormal events, he's now a paranormal/sasquatch investigator. The first experience he had that might have involved seeing a sasquatch happened about 4 years ago, in an old cemetery, in Ravenna, Ohio. To this day, Mike's not sure what it was that he saw. A few weeks ago, however, he had a clear sighting of a sasquatch. You see, he was doing a livestream for his podcast that night, in Cuyahoga Valley National Forest, in Summit County, Ohio, and wound up seeing an 8-plus-foot-tall sasquatch peek out at him from behind a tree. In the Surtshellir lava cave of Iceland, archaeologists have uncovered evidence of a mysterious and frightening belief system. This vast cave system, located under a lava field created by a massive eruption around 900 AD, contains a large man-made wall and enormous piles of unburnt animal bones located deep in the pitch black. Further into the cave, a stone boat outline was discovered containing specific ritual offerings associated with fire, such as jasper fire-starters, burnt bones, and glass. Researchers believe these offerings were intended to placate a fire giant or being, potentially Surtr, who was thought to dwell within the lava field. Following Iceland's official conversion to Christianity in 1000 AD, the ritual practice eventually ceased, marked by a final offering of a metal cross left in the stone boat as a symbolic farewell to the old gods. The connection between the landscape and mythology is further illustrated by a saga poem describing a mountain giant with glowing eyes inside a cave. Tonight's guest, Eric, has had some experiences in his life that were much more frightening than what most people have experienced. Eric used to live in a haunted house and one of the most frightening experiences he's had happened when he was in the shower one night. When he had that experience, he was standing in the shower when all of a sudden, he saw what he thinks was a demon come into the bathroom with him. When he saw that happen, it frightened him so much, he jumped out of the shower, threw his pants on, and ran out of the house. Of course, that experience really shook him up, but it still isn't the most frightening experience he's had. That title belongs to the time he walked right up to 3 Dogmen, before he realized what they were. He came to regret doing that. His interest in Dogmen stemmed from a frightening encounter he had when he was 8 years old with what appeared to be a real-life Werewolf, not a Dogman. The night his encounter happened, he was staying at his great Auntie Sissy's house, in the suburbs of Ipswich, in Suffolk England. After he was dropped off at her house, Auntie Sissy made it clear to him that he could play in her garden but he had to come inside before it got dark because if he didn't, Old Stinker would get him. Tonight's guest, Donna Copas, is of Shawnee descent and her spirit name is “White Wolf Woman.” Donna was featured on Episodes 480 and 488 and on those shows she talked about the many experiences she's had with the Sasquatch that live on and around her 300-acre farm, in Southeastern Ohio. Her father used to call them “The Watchers” and that's what Donna calls them to this day. There are many Watchers that Donna sees and interacts with, around her property, but the one she has the most affinity for is on she calls Grandfather. You see, Grandfather is an extremely old Sasquatch that used to watch over her father. Now that Donna's father has passed on, Grandfather watches over her. A couple of weeks ago, Donna had a terrifying experience with a rogue Sasquatch that moved into the area. The night it happened, Grandfather and another Sasquatch held the rogue Sasquatch at bay, giving Donna time to flee the area and get to safety.
