This week Sean and Jeff talked about the most evil or ‘devilish' movies in history in honor of I Hate Critics episode 666    Both Sean and Jeff offered their Top 5 Demon/Devil Movies and had Bob been able to join us, we would have stayed on theme with three Top 6 countdowns but it simply didn't make sense without him.    Sean -    Abby (1974)    An archaeologist (William Marshall) tries to rid a minister's (Terry Carter) wife (Carol Speed) of a spewing demon dug up in Nigeria.   The Devil and Father Amorth (2018)    In 1973 he brought us the film classic, The Exorcist. 45 years later, Academy Award-winning director William Friedkin brings us the real thing.   The Last Exorcism 2010    After years of gulling the faithful, cleric Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) feels remorse and decides to expose his chicanery through filming a documentary. With a crew in tow, Marcus arrives at the Louisiana farm of devout Louis Sweetzer, who believes that his daughter, Nell, is possessed. When the usual stunts fail, he realizes that he is face-to-face with real evil and must summon true faith to protect Nell, the others and himself from demonic power.   The Witch (2015)    In 1630 New England, panic and despair envelops a farmer, his wife and their children when youngest son Samuel suddenly vanishes. The family blames Thomasin, the oldest daughter who was watching the boy at the time of his disappearance. With suspicion and paranoia mounting, twin siblings Mercy and Jonas suspect Thomasin of witchcraft, testing the clan's faith, loyalty and love to one another.   Hereditary (Number 1 for both Sean and Jeff)    When the matriarch of the Graham family passes away, her daughter and grandchildren begin to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry, trying to outrun the sinister fate they have inherited.   Jeff's Remaining List  Prince of Darkness 1987    Poking around in a church cellar, a priest (Donald Pleasence) finds an otherworldly vial filled with slime. Frightened, he brings his discovery to a circle of top scholars and scientists, who eventually learn that the strange liquid is the essence of Satan. The slime then begins to seep out, turning some of the academics into zombified killers. As the possessed battle the survivors, student Kelly (Susan Blanchard) is infected by a large quantity of the liquid and becomes Satan personified.   House of the Devil (2009)   Desperate to make some money so she can move into a new apartment, college student Samantha Hughes (Jocelin Donahue) takes a mysterious babysitting job. When she arrives at the house, Mr. Ulman (Tom Noonan) mentions a full lunar eclipse and explains there is no child, but that Samantha will be watching his mother instead. After exploring the sinister-seeming house, Samantha soon comes to realize that her employers are hiding a horrifying secret and have plans to use her, dead or alive.   Exorcist 3 (1990)   Police Lt. Kinderman (George C. Scott) notices similarities between his current murder investigation and the methods used by the Gemini killer (Brad Dourif) who was executed 15 years before. He soon discovers a hospitalized mental patient (Jason Miller) claiming to be the dead serial killer, but who looks uncannily like a priest Kinderman knew who died during an exorcism. As more bodies are found, Kinderman looks for connections between the two supposedly dead men.   Devil (2010)    Five strangers' day begins with an elevator ride in a Philadelphia office tower. But, what happens next is anything but ordinary. The elevator gets stuck, and the trapped passengers, who expected to be together just a few minutes, now face the revelation of their secrets and transgressions. Frightening events turn annoyance into terror, as they begin to realize that one of their number is Lucifer himself.

Tonight's guest, Roger Williams, host of the popular Squatchin' Holler Podcast, grew up spending countless hours in the woods. A large part of what he knows about the woods is due, in large part, to the things his dad taught him when he was a kid. Due to how much he thought he knew about the woods, Roger used to love venturing deep into the woods any chance he got. Then, one day, he had an experience that changed all that. After having that experience, his view of the woods, and how safe he was in them, changed so much, he stopped doing a lot of the things in the woods he used to do without a second thought. In fact, Roger still hunts, but he refuses to do so in the deep woods now. Now, if he goes hunting, he does so in fields. Not the woods. The name Bakota was first mentioned in writings in 1024. Tonight's guest, Brian Minnick, is a Sasquatch researcher who has been visiting Camp Hero, in Montauk, New York, since 1988, when he was 11. Camp Hero is a military base that's best known for being the inspiration for the hit show, Stranger Things. Tonight's first guest had two Sasquatch sightings in Lincoln County, Kentucky, about 7 years ago, while he was on a property he was renting from his uncle. When he was growing up, that was the same property that his family used to host several family reunions. One of the peculiar things about the property he remembers is how strange the property always felt. When he, his sister, and cousins, would play in the woods on the property, as kids, they frequently felt like they were being watched. They didn't understand why they always felt that way, back then, but it makes good sense now. Clarity came one night when his girlfriend woke him up, crying. She told him that something was outside, and that's what had her so upset. What happened next is something tonight's first guest still gets unpleasant feelings when he talks about it. We hope you'll tune in and listen to him chronicle what happened that night.Tonight's second guest had his Sasquatch sighting in Allegan County, Michigan. He was deer hunting, at the time. After getting to his stand that day, he noticed a lack of ambient noise, in his part of the woods. Although he found it strange, he brushed it off as just being one of those things. Later on in the day, he got out his binoculars and started glassing the area around his stand. When he did that, he saw a nice buck a fairly short distance from him. So, he climbed down from his stand and attempted to stalk the buck. Not long after trying to stalk the buck, he got the feeling he was being watched. Moments later, he realized why he had that feeling. For most of us, our homes are our sanctuary. For tonight's guest, Carey, however, her home has been anything but. You see, in 2016 she had her first Sasquatch sighting. She was at home when the sighting happened and since then, she's had numerous Sasquatch sightings on and around the 4 properties Carey and her husband have owned since that fateful day. They've moved so many times, in hopes of leaving the Sasquatch behind, but that hasn't worked. They even moved out of state, but the Sasquatch have followed Carey and her husband every time they've moved. Making matters worse, Sasquatch aren't the only cryptids Carey and her husband have had to deal with on their properties. Unfortunately, Dogmen have kept a fairly constant presence at their properties too. The Sasquatch seem to be keeping the Dogmen from causing too many problems, though. While it's true that Carey is terrified of the Sasquatch that keep paying her and her husband visits, she's much more frightened of the Dogmen. Tonight's guest, Mike, grew up in San Carlos, California, which is near the Crystal Springs Reservoir. The Crystal Springs Reservoir is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest and open land, and most of the area is off-limits. Hunting and fishing aren't allowed there, and that's a shame because water from the San Francisco Bay area flows through the Hetch Hetchy water system and empty into the Crystal Springs Reservoir. That makes for some very good fishing at the reservoir. Unfortunately, one night, in July of 1980, Mike and his best friend, Troy, got caught trying to sneak into the Crystal Springs Reservoir to do some fishing, but it wasn't law enforcement that caught them. In fact, Mike would have given anything for it to have just been law enforcement that they ran into. No. What caught the boys, that night, was something much worse. In fact, after having the nightmarish experience he and Troy had, that night, Mike has never set foot in a forest without having a big gun with him.
