Due to all that tonight's guest has been through, as a direct result of her having the most horrific kind of Dogman encounter, I'm going to keep everything about her totally anonymous. Therefore, I'm going to call her “Abby” on tonight's show. Late one night, when she and her friends decided to visit the park, however, they found out the hard way that the rumblings they'd heard about a dangerous creature being there was anything but fun and games. Tonight's guest, Shawn Brackenridge, is a Dogman investigator who doesn't believe in living in your fears. Having said that, even he gets unsettled when he and his research partner visit the area around the Lake Medina Dam, near Mico, Texas. Every time Shawn has visited the dam, the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The dam is different than any other dam Shawn has seen, when you consider the lengths county officials have gone to, to keep people away from the dam. 7-foot fences surround the dam that are topped with razor wire. Shawn doesn't have to guess why the county has gone to such lengths to keep people away from the dam. He's had multiple encounters with something there that would definitely make the county want to keep people away. Locals who live near the dam don't go outside, after dark. They stay inside their homes. Shawn spoke with a man who works at a shop, in the area, who told Shawn that he won't go outside after dark there, either. It was an experience that was so frightening, so intense, he vomited right before I called him, for the first time, due to him thinking about what happened to him that evening. What started out as a great outing for Casey and his 100-pound pit bull, Callie, turned out to be an absolute nightmare for both of them. David Belford lives on a 22-acre property that is forested and mountainous, in West Virginia. He's had two Sasquatch sightings and both of them happened while he was on his property. He's also a team member of the WV Case Bigfoot Collective. That's a Sasquatch investigation team that an investigator named Les O'Dell created. Dave has been into Bigfooting for 10 years or more. What sparked his interest in Sasquatch was a documentary he saw that featured Dr. Jeffery Meldrum. When Dave had his first sighting, in June of last year, he was taking his dog, Ted, out at 3 AM. After taking Ted out, Dave randomly glanced up to a hillside that's visible from his backyard and was shocked by what he saw. Bryan is an avid kayaker and camper who lives in Central Iowa. Bryan spends as much of his free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors. When he had that experience, he and 13 of his friends were kayaking down the Middle Racoon River. Some of them were very experienced at kayaking, others were novices. The group was approaching a place in the river that could be dangerous for novice kayakers, so Bryan and his good friend, Mark, decided to paddle ahead so they could stand on a sandbar that would allow them to watch the novices navigate that dangerous stretch of the river. Before Bryan and Mark made it to that sandbar, however, a rock the size of a softball hit the water inches from Mark's kayak. Thomas Shay is the founder of the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. Tom has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon since 1987. That's when he had his first Sasquatch-related experience. You see, in 1987, Tom was heading to see his girlfriend, in Carlton, Kentucky, on US 36, when he had his first sighting. It was 85 degrees out, that day, so Tom was surprised when he saw what he, at first, thought was a man in a fur coat, on the side of the highway. As he got closer, he slowed down to a very slow speed and slowly went past the subject. After creeping by the subject, he felt like he didn't get a good enough look at it, so he turned his car around, parked it on the side of the road, and got out so he could follow the subject down into a field. Moments later, Tom realized that was a poor decision. From that day on, Tom tried to learn all he could about Sasquatch. Dusty Ruth is the leader of BFRO expeditions in Ohio. He's also an investigator for the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. As you can imagine, Dusty has spent untold hours in the field, on Sasquatch investigations. Of all the experiences he's had, in the field, the 3 sightings he's had are, understandably, the most memorable ones. Dusty had his first sighting in 2019, while he was on an outing with the BFRO, in Ohio. That sighting was the first of two sightings he's had through a thermal vision device, at night. After he had those two sightings, he had a daytime sighting. When he had that daytime sighting, he saw the Sasquatch without the help of any technology. He saw it with his unaided eyes. Tim and Eric Vogel went to see Sasquatch: The Legend of Bigfoot in the winter of 1976, when they were in their teens. Seeing that movie really sparked their interest in Sasquatch. About a month after seeing that movie, during a big snowstorm, something happened one morning that completely set the hook in them, with regards to their interest in the topic. The storm had dropped about 28 inches of snow on the area where Tim and Eric lived, in Western Massachusetts, and when the looked out their window that morning, they saw a horde of people in their driveway. There were Bigfoot investigators, news reporters, and other people out there who were focused on a trail of big tracks that led across their property. It turned out to be a hoax that a kid in their area had been responsible, but the damage was already done. Tim and Eric couldn't get enough of the Bigfoot topic. It should come as no surprise that Tim and Eric decided to become Sasquatch investigators, years later and form Vogel Brothers Sasquatch Investigations. On tonight's show, Tim and Eric are going to share numerous sightings and experiences they've had. Tonight's guest, Kathleen Tedder, had her first Sasquatch sighting when she was 4 years old and over the years, since then, she's had sightings in 7 different states. You see, when Kathy was 4 years old, her family lived in Alaska. One day, back then, she was sitting at the kitchen table, looking out the Dutch door, on the back wall of their kitchen. Suddenly, she saw what her 4-year-old mind identified as being a man-bear eating cherries, from a cherry tree outside. The “man-bear” was brown and about 8 feet tall. Being as young as Kathy was, she decided that her best course of action would be to run out to him and give him a hug. So, she got up and started to run outside to do that. She had made it 3 steps out the door when, suddenly, her father grabbed her by the seat of her pants and pulled her back inside. As her father was pulling her back inside the house, the “man-bear” did something she'll never forget. What it did made a lasting impact on Kathy that she's still moved by to this day. Tonight's guest, Justin, had his Dogman encounter when he was 13 or 14 years old. He was out, walking around the subdivision he lived in, with 3 friends, around 7:30 PM, when his encounter happened. The subdivision was small, compared to most subdivisions, and it was surrounded by fields and heavy woods.
