Tonight's guest, Donna Copas, has being interacting with Sasquatch since she was 6 years old. Donna doesn't call them Sasquatch, however. She calls them the Watchers, due to her being of Shawnee descent. You see, when Donna was only 6 years old, her dad took her into the woods with him, to dig for yellow root. Her dad was always heading into the woods to harvest ginseng, yellow root, and other things. That day, after digging up some yellow root, her dad stood up, walked over to a nearby stump, and pulled out some tobacco. He then proceeded to put the tobacco on the stump and walked away from the stump. Not long after he did that, Donna saw a huge figure stand up, close to the stump and walk over to it, to retrieve the tobacco. Naturally, Donna had a ton of questions for her dad about what she was looking at. That's when her dad told her not to worry. He told her that he was just a Watcher and that he wouldn't hurt her. That event marked the beginning of her dad teaching her about the Watchers and she's been interacting with them ever since. Tonight's guest, Titus, grew up in Southern Wisconsin and had his Sasquatch sighting about 20 years ago. He had his sighting while he was at a hobby farm a friend of his mother owned. Joining Titus and his mother was one of Titus' siblings. When tonight's first guest, Sonya, was 6, she had her first Sasquatch sighting. When it happened, she and her sister were playing by a creek, behind their home. After they saw it, the ran inside to tell their mother about what they saw. Unfortunately, their mother laughed and told them that it was just their imagination. Fast forward to present day and Sonya has a plethora of sightings under her belt. That's due, in large part, to the fact that she has a family of Sasquatch living on and around her property, in East Tennessee. John had just been taking in the sights, due to how bright the moon was, when all of a sudden, he saw something he'd never seen before, in all the time he'd spent in the woods. Tonight's guest, Celena Garrett Dunn, used to roll her eyes at anyone she heard claim they had seen a Sasquatch. She though the idea that Sasquatch could actually be out there was ridiculous. She experienced a huge paradigm shift early one morning, however, when she went to serve court documents to a defendant who lived just outside of Piedmont, Alabama. What happened to her that morning was so profound, you could say it changed the course of her life. Now, she produces a Sasquatch-themed podcast, called Southern Belle Bigfoot, and can't get enough of the topic. Tonight's guest, Norm Sollie, grew up in Washington State and due in large part to that, he developed a strong fascination with Sasquatch at an early age. Tonight's guest, Darrell Adams, moved to Oregon in 2011, after retiring from his union construction job. Darrell wasn't interested in Sasquatch, but his brother has been fascinated with them for a long time. After finding out that Darrell had moved to Oregon, his brother asked him to keep an eye out for evidence of Sasquatch activity. After his brother let him know what to look for, he found a lot of evidence that Sasquatch actually were in the areas he was hunting in. Until he started finding evidence that they were in the area, Darrell didn't even believe in their existence. After finding all of the evidence he started to find, however, he had a paradigm shift. At that point, he became a believer. It wasn't long after that that he became a knower, though. He had his first sighting. Tonight's guest, Bill Rigby, used to want to have a Sasquatch sighting of his own more than just about anything. As he found out, however, there's a difference between hoping to see a Sasquatch and being ready to see one. That's a lesson he learned the hard way, in Salt Fork State Park, in Ohio. You see, Bill had a sighting there one evening where he found himself just 15 feet from a 7-foot-tall Sasquatch. After having that sighting, he lost all interest in heading back into the woods. If not for a phone conversation with Tim, “Coonbo” Baker, Bill probably would have sworn off going back into the woods for good. In 1972, tonight's guest, David Walker, was 11 years old and just learning the ropes, when it came to hunting. One day, after school had let out for the summer, he and his friend, George, decided that they wanted to camp out on top of a big hill behind a barn on his friend's property. After slogging all of their equipment to the top of the hill, they set up camp and settled in. A little after 1 AM, Dave began to hear bipedal footsteps walking around their camp. Not Remembering how his friend had told him that no one ever went up there, on top of the hill, Dave thought he must have been hearing George's brother, Dave, walking around out there, trying to frighten him and George. Thinking that one good turn deserved another, the boys decided that they'd try to turn the tables on Dave and scare him. Dave gathered himself and when the moment was right, he jumped out of the tent, raised his hands above his head and yelled at the figure that was right outside the tent door. The problem was, it wasn't Dave that was out there. It was something Dave describes as being a big, black, hairy, monster! Tonight's guest, LaVone, grew up in Great Falls, Montana, in an area her mother called the flats. LaVone and her family lived on a 10-acre property that was next to what she believes was a Native American reservation. Back then, she used to go horseback riding with a Native American girl who was a few years older than she was. One day, in 1976, LaVone went for a ride with that girl past a rock quarry that was close to where she lived. Normally, she avoided the area around the quarry due to a neighbor who routinely allowed his dangerous dogs run loose there. The day they went for that ride, LaVone didn't see those dangerous dogs, luckily. What she did see, though, was something that took her by surprise much more so than those dogs would have. Tonight's guest, Hugh Knight, had his Bigfoot sighting on the Oregon Washington State border, by the Columbia River. The day he had the sighting he was mining for agates and crystals. After drilling rocks for some time, he decided to climb up to an overlook, above where he'd been working, to try his luck at seeing a Sasquatch. Tonight's guest, Kenneth Medsker, is the founder of the Montana Idaho Bigfoot Research Group and he authored a book called “My Personal Quest to Understand Bigfoot.” Kenneth had his first Sasquatch sighting in 1978 and that experience is what triggered Kenneth's desire to find out as much as he possibly could about Sasquatch. When he had that first sighting, he was fishing at a high alpine lake. He had spent the day there and it was getting late in the afternoon. He had caught his limit of brook trout, so he decided to start walking out. Soon after he had packed up and started walking out, he suddenly heard a log being torn apart, just up the mining road he was walking on. A large part of what he knows about the woods is due, in large part, to the things his dad taught him when he was a kid. Tonight's guest, Brian Minnick, is a Sasquatch researcher who has been visiting Camp Hero, in Montauk, New York, since 1988, when he was 11. Camp Hero is a military base that's best known for being the inspiration for the hit show, Stranger Things. A lot of strange things have happened on the grounds, Camp Hero and around them, including Sasquatch activity. In 1981, Camp Hero was decommissioned, and it remained abandoned for 20 years, until it was turned into a state park. It's been said that the base was abandoned due to it being destroyed by a beast that was unleashed when a portal to another dimension was opened, due to a clandestine experiment. Not being one to pass up on an opportunity for adventure, Brian made countless trips to Camp Hero, to explore the grounds and see if he could find any evidence supporting that claim.
