Tonight's guest, Stan, had his first Bigfoot sighting a year ago, almost to the day. You see, on March 1st, 2025, one of Stan's friends, Ed, who is a member of the B.F.R.O, called Stan and asked him if he'd like to go out looking for Bigfoot. Stan said, “sure,” so his friend took him out to a reservoir close to Stan's home, in Oregon, that has Bureau of Land Management land around it. After they made it to the reservoir, they drove the mountain roads in that area. The two men were drinking iced tea as they drove up and down the roads, so eventually, Stan wound up needing to relieve himself, so he asked his friend to pull over. The decision to get out for that nature call was the genesis of what became an obsession for Stan when it comes to investigating Sasquatch. Here we are, one year later, and he's had 5 sightings and numerous other experiences with them. Tonight's guest, Mel, has seen Yowies on two occasions. The first time she saw one, she was driving down a road and wound up hitting one with her car. That experience rattled her, but not nearly as much as her second Yowie encounter did. You see, the second time she saw a Yowie, she and her partner found themselves doing all they could to keep it from pushing its way into their house. The Yowie was on the outside of the door, pushing on it to get it to swing open while Mel and her partner were inside their house, pushing on the door with all their might, in an attempt to keep it from opening. Tonight's first guest, Heather, grew up in a very rural part of Central Louisiana. She grew up hunting, so she's always loved the outdoors. When the COVID lockdowns happened, to help pass the time, Heather decided to look into the Sasquatch phenomenon. Not long after she started to armchair research, she hooked up with a group of ladies who were interested in Sasquatch too. It wasn't long after that that Heather started doing field investigations with those ladies that spanned several states. Up until that point, Heather was interested in Sasquatch but what really piqued her interest in them was the day she found a set of Sasquatch prints in the Kisatchie National Forest. After finding them, she was absolutely hooked. On tonight's show, Heather is going to share multiple Sasquatch-related experiences she's had, since then. Tonight's guest, Doug Messer, had his first and only Bigfoot sighting in 1980. He had his sighting while he was in his bedroom, but his encounter started in the woods, behind his house, in Greenup County, Kentucky. You see, he had been camping in the woods behind his house with 3 friends of his. After the he and his 3 friends had turned in for the night, it started to rain pretty heavily and the rain washed out their camp. That caused them to decide to pack up their camp and head back to Doug's house. After they had everything packed up, they had just started walking down an old timber road, to leave, when they noticed heavy footsteps pacing them to their right. When the boys would stop walking, the footsteps would stop too. They tested that several times and every time they'd stop walking the heavy footsteps would stop too. That frightened them, so they all took off running. Whatever it was that the boys were running from kept pace with them. Finally, after the boys made it to Tommy's house, Tommy thought the experience was over. Tonight's guest, Bruce Brown, is a former law enforcement officer who had his first Sasquatch sighting when he was 8-years-old. He was trying to fly a kite, at the time, when he saw 3 Sasquatch. Bruce says the Sasquatch seemed to be more interested in watching him as he was trying to get it to fly than they were in just watching him. Bruce thought they were gorillas. He had no clue what they actually were. It wasn't until his great grandmother sat him down and had a little talk with him that he came to understand what they actually were. The experience he had that day, when he was trying to fly that kite was just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the experiences he's had with Sasquatch. One of the most notable encounters he's had with a Sasquatch happened one night when he was working as a Sherrif's deputy and was on the scene of an accident investigation. That night, he stood feet from a female Sasquatch that had been severely injured, after being hit by a car. When tonight's first guest was 8 or 9 years old, a Sasquatch she calls “The Gorilla Man” started paying visits to her family's farm, in Larue County, Kentucky. Their property is in a very remote area that's a solid 20-minute drive from stores or any moderately populated areas. The first time she saw the Gorilla Man, she was in bed one night when all of a sudden, she saw that something was looking in her window at her. What she was looking at seemed to be about 8-feet tall, with a wide head, and very human-looking eyes. After staring, in awe, at the figure for some time, she jumped up and ran to her mother. A couple of years past, after that experience, before she saw the Gorilla Man again but see him again she did. Her encounters with him have continued to happen until present day.Craig Ancell has had 3 Bigfoot sightings and they all happened in Southeast Missouri. His first sighting happened between 1993 and 1995, at a place just outside of Scott City, Missouri, called “The Caves.” He was in high school, at the time, and had gone to The Caves with 3 other friends. Don Niesen has lived in Central Wisconsin for about 25 years now. He describes Central Wisconsin as being a totally different world from where he grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. After moving to Central Wisconsin, he's had multiple encounters with various types of wildlife, but none of those encounters moved the needle for Don nearly as much as an encounter he had while he was driving to his parent's house, one evening. As he was driving down a rural section of highway, heading to their house, he was on the lookout for deer. Deer-related car crashes are a big problem in that area. All of a sudden, up ahead, he could see a large, black figure, on the side of the road, pulling at something in the ditch. At first, Don thought it was a bear. Then, it did something no bear could do and at that moment, Don's jaw dropped. When tonight's first guest was growing up, she had a series of experiences that she didn't understand. That is, she didn't understand them until she came face to face with what had been behind those experiences. It was a Sasquatch. Her family thought the Sasquatch was Tara's imaginary friend, but when you her what that Sasquatch did, you might look at it as being more of a guardian angel. In February of 2000, tonight's guest, Anita Tallbl, was spending a night out with two friends of hers, Manny and Tess, when she had her first Sasquatch sighting. In May of 2023, Crystal was sitting at a traffic light, near a well-known landmark in Pennsylvania, when she had a Sasquatch sighting. The landmark is called Horseshoe Curve. David Belford lives on a 22-acre property that is forested and mountainous, in West Virginia. He's had two Sasquatch sightings and both of them happened while he was on his property. Bryan is an avid kayaker and camper who lives in Central Iowa. Bryan spends as much of his free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors. Unfortunately, he had an experience, in May or June of 2016, that tarnished his love of being in the great outdoors. When he had that experience, he and 13 of his friends were kayaking down the Middle Racoon River. Some of them were very experienced at kayaking, others were novices. The group was approaching a place in the river that could be dangerous for novice kayakers, so Bryan and his good friend, Mark, decided to paddle ahead so they could stand on a sandbar that would allow them to watch the novices navigate that dangerous stretch of the river. Before Bryan and Mark made it to that sandbar, however, a rock the size of a softball hit the water inches from Mark's kayak. Thomas Shay is the founder of the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. Tom has been investigating the Sasquatch phenomenon since 1987. That's when he had his first Sasquatch-related experience. You see, in 1987, Tom was heading to see his girlfriend, in Carlton, Kentucky, on US 36, when he had his first sighting. It was 85 degrees out, that day, so Tom was surprised when he saw what he, at first, thought was a man in a fur coat, on the side of the highway. As he got closer, he slowed down to a very slow speed and slowly went past the subject. After creeping by the subject, he felt like he didn't get a good enough look at it, so he turned his car around, parked it on the side of the road, and got out so he could follow the subject down into a field. Moments later, Tom realized that was a poor decision. From that day on, Tom tried to learn all he could about Sasquatch. Dusty Ruth is the leader of BFRO expeditions in Ohio. He's also an investigator for the Northern Kentucky Bigfoot Research Group. As you can imagine, Dusty has spent untold hours in the field, on Sasquatch investigations. Of all the experiences he's had, in the field, the 3 sightings he's had are, understandably, the most memorable ones. Dusty had his first sighting in 2019, while he was on an outing with the BFRO, in Ohio. That sighting was the first of two sightings he's had through a thermal vision device, at night. After he had those two sightings, he had a daytime sighting. When he had that daytime sighting, he saw the Sasquatch without the help of any technology. He saw it with his unaided eyes. Gene Brock is an archaeologist who also has a degree in Anthropology. Gene decided to major in archaeology and minor in anthropology due to an experience he had when he was 13 or 14 years old. Tonight's guest, Debbie Robinson, had the Sasquatch-related experiences she's going to talk about on tonight's show while she was staying at a remote cabin, in the Hocking Hills, of Ohio. Before she went to the cabin, to celebrate her birthday, her family and friends knew Debbie had always wanted to go to the Hocking Hills and rent a cabin. She had heard so much about the beautiful scenery in the Hocking Hills and all the caves there so, for the longest time, she wanted to go take it all in. To celebrate her birthday in 2020, which was and is on October 31st, her family booked a cabin there that they all could go stay in, Halloween weekend that year, to celebrate Debbie's birthday that year. While it's true that the Hocking Hills are known to have beautiful scenery, caves, and a lot of other great things to offer, they're also known to have a healthy population of Sasquatch living in them.
