When I started playing rebel songs with the Brobdingnagian Bards, we played them, not for the politics, but because they were powerful songs. This show is dedicated to rebel songs in general. The book has stories and suggestions how to start getting out of debt and what investments to buy with new savings like gold and silver. Jason and Phil discuss living in the DC metro area and the state of the US economy, which is nowhere near as good as President Obama claims. Phil thinks the US is already in a depression and that there was no recovery in 2008. Jason then asks Phil about the amount of fraud in corporations and government in the US?To wrap up the interview, Phil says how he thinks silver is the best investment anyone with modest means can make right now.
