[SEGMENT 1-1] Enjoying the win 1 Bringing the PAIN to Leftism, but in a fun way. I'm glad you are here…     I know people are still hesitant to enjoy our victory over the evil Democrats. And I understand it, because Conservatives are taught to be gracious losers and winners. And that's a loser's attitude. When you win you celebrate! Have you even seen a championship team quietly walk into the locker room and just grab their gear and go home. Oh. Heck. No. They cheers and hug, pop champagne. They hoists trophies in the air, and party like there's no tomorrow. And when they do interviews, they don't hold back on congratulating themselves. They don't express sorry for their opponent's loss, they discuss what it took to win, and how hard they worked, and so on. When we win, we act like we LOST. Not me. I'm celebrating through the New Year, and then I'm doubling my celebration into 2025. I'm betting on me and this movement. I'm ecstatic, delirious, rhapsodic, blissful, thrilled that we DESTROYED the Democrats. I know politically the last time I saw this carnage for myself during Reagan-Mondale. But that victory though technically bigger wasn't nearly as sweet. The fate of the world didn't necessarily depend on that election.  http://GetKrill.com/KevinJackson http://bioptimizers.com/kjradio Colonial Metals Group: FreeGoldGuide.com/KJRadio  800 444 6918[SEGMENT 1-2] Enjoying the win 2 [X] SB – AOC on the new world under Trump Consequences for the rest of our lives Precedent   And what a comeback by Trump. What is the biggest personal victory you can compare this to. For me, Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson is the closest sport-wise, except Douglas didn't do a comeback. How do you think Buster Douglas celebrated after knocking out the guy nobody else knocked out? The man they called, “Iron” Mike. For all we know, Buster Douglas is still partying after that victory. There honestly hasn't been a more ridiculous comeback in all of human history. When the entirety of the most powerful nation on earth plots your destruction, and you end up BACK IN CHARGE. Conservatives won the biggest victory in the history of mankind, and remain afraid to celebrate. Because we don't want to be accused of over-celebrating? Is there even such a thing? Proverbs 24:17-18 “Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn His wrath away from them.”  [SEGMENT 1-3] Enjoying the win 3 [X] SB – Chai Komanduri political strategist shocked by loss   We did it! We smacked them. Democrats were demolished, devastated, savaged, ravished, wrecked, shattered, crushed, vanquished, and demoralized. And we still have work to do!   https://www.forbes.com/sites/amymorin/2017/01/29/7-ways-to-talk-about-your-accomplishments-without-sounding-like-a-braggart/ 1. Keep The Emphasis On Your Hard Work Say, “I worked really hard to make this happen.” Listeners will respect your triumphs when they know you put in a lot of effort. 2. Don't Belittle Other People Leave out comparisons if you can. If you crossed the marathon finish line in first place, it's OK to say you were first. But don't add that the second place finisher was a mile behind you. 3. Give Credit Where It's Due Say, “I couldn't have done this without such a supportive spouse,” or, “My team really stepped it up to make this happen.” People are receptive to hearing success stories when credit is given where it's due. 4. Stick To The Facts Let other people interpret the facts. If they conclude you're an excellent leader or a rock star salesperson on their own, you'll still come across as modest. 5. Express Gratitude Show gratitude by saying, “I am so grateful that the company gave me this opportunity,” or “I'm thankful that so many people are interested in hearing my message.”  6. Don't Add A Qualifier Saying, “I hate to brag, but…” doesn't excuse showing off. In fact, it only draws attention to the fact you know what you're about to say may be a turn-off, but you're saying it anyway. Instead of a semi-apologetic warning, try saying, “I'm so excited to share my good news,” or, “I'm happy to announce…” before you tout your accomplishment. 7. Avoid The Humble-Brag It can be tempting to add a disparaging remark to offset your compliments about yourself. But saying, “I am so embarrassed I let my Lamborghini get this dirty,” won't earn you any points. In fact, https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2597626 show humble-bragging makes people sound insincere. So if you want to make a good impression, avoid disguising self-promotion as a complaint. You're better off directly communicating your accomplishments.    [SEGMENT 1-4] Enjoying the win 4     "Winning Big Without Rubbing It In (Too Much)" 1. Keep The Emphasis On Your Hard WorkWe worked incredibly hard for this victory. From door-knocking to enduring endless media hit jobs, the MAGA team left no stone unturned. And the payoff? A resounding thank you from democracy itself. It's rewarding to see the fruits of all that labor bloom so beautifully... with red petals, of course. 2. Don't Belittle Other PeopleSure, the Democrats gave it their all, and we respect that. They tried novel strategies like skipping debates, hiding candidates, and... what's that phrase? "Democracy dies in darkness"? Apparently, elections also flop in it. But hey, no comparisons—every runner deserves a participation trophy. 3. Give Credit Where It's DueWe couldn't have done this alone. Hats off to the Democratic Party for motivating millions of Americans to care deeply about democracy, just maybe not the way they intended. Their commitment to questionable ballot strategies, legal theatrics, and celebrity endorsements helped clarify the stakes. Thanks for keeping the MAGA base laser-focused! 4. Stick To The FactsLet's just lay it out: democracy was on the ballot, and the people overwhelmingly chose Trump. Americans love their freedom, and it turns out, they also love a good underdog story—especially when the underdog is a billionaire who survived 91 indictments and still came out swinging. 5. Express GratitudeWe're so thankful for every single voter, from those brave enough to voice support in blue states to the silent majority who made their voices heard where it counted. And a special thanks to Kamala Harris, who—despite a complete lack of votes in 2020—found a way to lead her party to… somewhere. 6. Don't Add A QualifierNo need for “I hate to brag, but…” moments here. Instead, we'll just say this: we're proud of this win, and even prouder that America's faith in democracy remains intact, especially after seeing how much abuse it endured from our opponents. 7. Avoid The Humble-BragWe promise not to say anything like, “It's so embarrassing that our policies resonated with so many Americans while theirs didn't.” Nope, that would be wrong. Instead, we'll just point out how humbling it is to have earned the trust of voters across the nation. Being “the people's champion” is an honor we don't take lightly.Final ThoughtsIt's important to remain gracious in victory, even when faced with the colossal irony of being lectured about democracy by people who tripped over it. In the end, we didn't just win—we demonstrated that democracy is alive, well, and still a whole lot of fun.             Proverbs 24:17-18 "Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice; or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn His wrath from him"   https://lifehacker.com/why-you-shouldnt-gloat-even-when-it-feels-good-1850289355 An alternative to gloating “Going high” in this context would involve actually trying to change people's minds. The reason I don't like Trump, and I'm happy he's being charged with over 30 felonies, is because I disagree with his political goals and the way he conducted himself in office. I think the country would be vastly worse off if he were elected again. This is why I'm more committed to changing people's minds than to making myself feel good about a “victory” over someone I will never meet. If you're trying to get your MAGA uncle to consider maybe not voting for the worst human being in American political history, gloating is counter-productive. Psychologists who study how people actually change their minds point out that making yourself into the enemy (i.e. gloating) is the worst thing you can do in that regard. As David McRaney, author of the 2022 book How Minds Change: The Surprising Science of Belief, Opinion, and Persuasion told https://time.com/6224300/how-to-change-someones-mind/, “If you communicate that they should be ashamed, or that they're stupid or gullible, they're going to push against you in a way that ruins the possibility of moving forward to a conversation that would actually change their mind in some way or get them to reevaluate the matter.” The actual keys to productive mind-changing are pretty much the opposite of gloating: remaining calm, using empathy, finding common ground, and inviting introspection are much more effective means of getting people to come around to your point of view (or at least become too discouraged to bother voting in 2024). It's a much harder thing to do than to calling someone a sucker, but it could work. Theoretically. Or so they say. (…) If you really must gloat… Being happy that something bad is happening to one of the most onerous humans alive is natural and healthy. Here's what I know. Your life is richer today, than it was prior to Nov 5. Perhaps you learned more about a few people than you knew before. Do you feel just that much freer? Are you more confident that you were on the right track spiritually?   [X] SB – Black woman on Kamala Harris denying God   GetKrill.com/KevinJackson bioptimizers.com/kjradio Colonial Metals Group: FreeGoldGuide.com/KJRadio  800 444 6918[SEGMENT 2-2] Celebrity endorsements   Kamala Haris paid celebrities to support her, and it backfired. Trump paid nobody and they clamor the be around him. As you look at Trump's team, you see the celebrity of brilliance. Meritocracy is back. Trump is appointing people who get the job done. They aren't concerned about egos and so on. The media intimated that Elon Musk is becoming a pain to Trump, hanging around too much and so on. One of the world's richest men doesn't have anything to do, so he just keeps annoying Trump's transition team? I'm not buying that. Trump is officially a phenom. Surviving the relentless attacks by the Left notwithstanding, Trump's actions post-election have the Left reeling. Not only have they lost credulity and voters, but they are losing control of the culture. Trump goes anywhere and he's adored. I'm noting a LOT more celebrities, particularly entertainers speaking out about Trump Look at all the athletes doing the Trump dance. And this is being seen ALL OVER THE WORLD.    [SEGMENT 2-3] Trump's celebrity 1   The Tyson fight reminds me of Republicans. All hype. It took an outsider, Trump to revamp politics. If you missed the Tyson fight, you missed nothing. And if you missed any Republican investigations or hearings, the same applies. All these people do is talk. [SEGMENT 2-1] The Election   I told you. Claire McCaskill Trump was winning and will win.  http://GetKrill.com/KevinJackson http://bioptimizers.com/kjradio http://FreeGoldGuide.com/KJRadio [SEGMENT 2-2] The Election 2   [X] SB – 60 Minutes asks Tim Walz about China Tim Walz    [SEGMENT 2-3] The Election 3   Jill Biden wore ALL RED to vote. And the way she was prancing, I know she voted for Trump! There was a point in the evening where I swear I saw the sign for Democrats to change into their BROWN underwear. I loved listening to the Leftist pundits try to spin all the data. They went county by county in some cases looking for silver linings for Harris.   We had and still have the BEST candidate, certainly in modern history. This election should have been a blow out. You know what I noticed about the people supporting Harris? Their hearts weren't into it. This set up like 2016 except NOBODY is surprised that Trump will win.    [SEGMENT 2-4] The Election 4     How many times did I say and write about this election cycle setting up like 2016, except that Harris is a FAR WORSE candidate than Hillary Clinton. Hard to believe that's even possible. They have FELT what was happening for the last couple of years. They hoped that they could pull a victory off with Harris, though they knew it was a longshot. I wrote a while back that Democrat conceded the presidency, so watch the House and Senate. While we are distracted with battleground states in a SLAM DUNK win for Trump, Democrats will be stealing House and Senate seats.       Approaching politics like a management consultant, what would you do to fix problems? That sounds simple, because businesses fix problems or they go out of business. That's where government differs. Government now doesn't care about fixing problems. Because it's no longer government by the people and for the people. Government is supposed to be the ultimate problem solver. The arbiter that rules based on what benefits the Republic, aka the greater good. In this manner of government, we don't always get what we personally want, but what satisfies the body politic, the people. But nowadays government is built for the elites…   So now that the election is over and we have time to consider the next election, what's the plan? I keep wanting things to get easier. I believe this is possible.   The blatant lies   Imane Khelif is a MAN. The “woman” who beat the crap out of other women in the Olympics has been VERIFIED to be a man. I highlight this person, because he represents Leftism spread around the world. Our insane LGBTQ+ community, a contingent in that community fought hard for this MAN to go kick the crap out of REAL women. And Democrats supported that. Yet, they ran their entire campaign on protecting the reproductive rights of women. What about the rights of women to not get brutalized with permission by a MAN? Another REVEAL of the OBVIOUS Like the OBVIOUS theft of the election in 2020 The OBVIOUS lies about J6 The OBVIOUS lies about Covid The vaccines The NIH and FDA Joe Biden's health Kamala Harris' competence The DOJ       I don't think I've ever seen a party so blatantly lie, than the Democrats did this election cycle. Democrats spewed PROVABLE lies repeatedly. So what their lies had been fact-checked. I wrote an article where I mentioned that I learned from insiders that Kamala Harris approved lying. It was her last desperate act. How have we gotten to the point where LYING is part of the political process. Harris ran ads against Trump saying he would implement national abortion, take away social security, when he had issued policy statement in direct contradiction to that. And what of the personal attacks? The lies about Trump's statement to Charlottesville. And what about that last-ditch hail Mary on Liz Cheney? What's most surprising is that despite the hammering the media takes for being fake news, the media minions amplified this lie to unbelievable proportions. They did this with TAPED evidence. And what about Biden's comment about Trump supporters being “garbage”? They actually altered the transcript, and then the media pretended that Biden didn't mean what we WATCHED him say and in full context. What else have they altered? What other lies have they told. Their lies have cost lives too.       The stories of the converts   In religion, in politics and in several other prickly subjects we assume that most everyone has such transforming experiences. How did you become a Republican is most often answered with deeply personal stories, but what are even deeper and more singular stories are those of betrayal, defection and abdication. Sometimes you fail to manage the identity crisis. Sometimes you go back to the old boyfriend because you don't know who you are without him. Sometimes you realize that one worst thing you thought white people would do you someone black like you. Sometimes you never escape the gravity of belonging, even when you want to. But for those who manage the change, the ex-Catholics who got on without guilt, the lifelong Democrats who voted for Reagan, the New England daughter of progressive atheists who marries the Southern Baptist minister, their tales are always compelling and sometimes the most insightful. We clamor for the converts. We are captured by the testimony of the walking contradictions among us. By no means are these exclusively captivating. When Michael Corleone turns the corner and becomes a true mob boss, he reinvests and reinvents himself to great success. Only later does he finds himself unable to escape the crime and destruction and be his true self, the self he abandoned - this is the cost of power born of loyalty to the group. Paying close attention to this dynamic of compromise in belonging and the cost of disclaiming that belonging is something we should try on the verge of this election. Look to the stories of betrayal, abdication and defection. Weigh the consequences of ideological excommunication. In populist politics, the first principle is loyalty. Loyalty has nothing to do with wisdom, discovery, humility or reason. That is why people in America are cancelled and censored. Our society is failing to allow people to safely defect from orthodoxy.     Running from their records     https://www.breitbart.com/immigration/2024/11/01/democrat-candidates-running-away-from-their-pro-migration-votes/ Sen.   [X] SB – Doug Emhoff on Kamala doing what she does You can choose to worry, or you can know that there is a loving, living God who knows what's best for America and the world. Over the last couple of days, I've done more than reveal news about the election. I've provided insights. You realize that we win in the end. There will be trials and tribulations, wars and rumors of wars. This has been prophesized by the Bible, and it is a fact. We were told that we lies would become the truth and the truth a lie. That we would be persecuted for our faith. Are these things happening? Yes. But we win in the end. Leftists want a Godless country, and they want to rock our faith. For many, they've accomplished this. But for people who believe that good conquers evil, we don't worry. Whatever the outcome of tonight is, and I honestly believe it will go our way, we mustn't fret. God has a purpose for you and this nation, and we will prevail. Trump has been through the ringer and it reminds me of a testimony of an African pastor, a testimony that I heard recently. The gentleman is from Zambia…  http://GetKrill.com/KevinJackson http://bioptimizers.com/kjradio http://FreeGoldGuide.com/KJRadio   Harris as a VP: A look back at Biden-Harris Today America gets its freedom back. Few would argue that Americans as a whole have endured 4 of the worst years in our history. Do you think people can or will ignore this? Inside the Beltway and on fake news media, they can pretend thing are going well. But rank and file America sees it differently. I will touch on all of these things individually, but let's just look at the list:- Massive inflation- Wars we should never have gotten involved in- Spending like there is no tomorrow. $1 trillion gets added to the debt every quarter.- An INVASION, sponsored by Biden-Harris, that is costing billions more, and ruining lives…- Crime: remember, they got the FBI to LIE to us.- Lies about everything: # of illegals, vaccines efficacy, inflation numbers, employment numbers, and much moreThis has been without a doubt the most corrupt administration in our history. And their corruption is only surpassed by their incompetence. This all ends in a few days. Check out Part II of this Pep Talk     This is Part II of the pep rally. Soon we will have much to celebrate, though many Conservatives fear the outcome of the election. Thus, I am reminding America of what's about to happen. Cheating I know you're concerned about Democrats https://apnews.com/article/trump-cheating-fraud-lies-52832138394282b8a3355b45c0b913a9. But cheating has been factored into my feelings of euphoria. As I said in https://theblacksphere.net/2024/11/pre-election-pep-talk-from-kevin-jackson-part-i/, Democrats will cheat in elections; that's what they do. Because Democrats can't win on ideas, they must cheat and manipulate. They do this to make believe that they are right, because they are too egotistical or stupid to admit they are wrong. Look at what they did in 2020, cheating Trump out of his rightful term for a man nobody takes seriously 4 years later. But therein lies the problem. America has seen this act before. No China virus to save the day. And Trump's ground-game and team is much more sophisticated. Further, many people formerly willing to cheat won't do do. So the cabal knows for fact that it can't cheat Harris into office. People like Jamie Raskin have been appearing on network TV sounding the alarm bell about "Trump cheating".  Raskin's appearance signal that Democrats know the cheating won't work on their end. So he's warning America that if Trump wins, the he obviously cheated. Raskin is indicating that Democrats will have a reason for their "insurrection", as Trump will have won by cheating. Ergo, there will be no “peaceful transition of power”. Democrats are justifying their disbelief of election results in advance. And what's most ironic about this? They KNOW they are still cheating massively.  More on the pastor [X] SB – Fetterman on Dems connecting with PA Same warning signs. Nothing new here. Trump has a connection with PA voters    [X] SB – Woody Johnson owner of Jets   People are proud to break ranks and say their voting for Trump. They're not hiding it. Run the country like a business   There are many POWERFUL people and organizations who want Trump to win. Don't be fooled by the cabal. While it is made up of very wealthy people, who manipulation governments for their fortunes, its members still need the actual ingenuity of other titans of industry as part of their portfolios. And that's why it's good that American conservatives have Elon Musk https://theblacksphere.net/2023/12/bidenomics-musk-buy-wapo/. I suspect that well over half of America's billionaires want Trump as president. These people whisper in the ear of the cabal who must listen. Chamath Palihapitiya might have been one of the first https://theblacksphere.net/2023/12/the-real-reason-why-chris-cuomo-may-vote-for-trump/ to Trump. "Every other president found a way to, frankly, make our situation a little bit worse, specifically around wars. He did not do that. And that is a huge accomplishment that I think needs to be acknowledged," Palihapitiya said. The co-host then described himself as a "Democrat" now "left homeless" and "definitely in the center but probably leaning increasingly right." Recently, Tim Cook of Apple contacted President Trump to intervene on his behalf in his company dealings with Ireland. And even more recently, Jeff Bezos of Amazon fame took The Washington Post's finger off the scale, and https://theblacksphere.net/2024/10/jeff-bezos-jointed-elon-musk-on-the-trump-train/ the paper from endorsing Kamala Harris. Zuckerberg, while not exactly endorsing Trump has certainly done a few public mea culpa on how Facebook manipulated the 2020 election through https://theblacksphere.net/2022/09/facebook-continues-to-reject-covid-facts/. This cycle he has certainly taken a far less active role in election interference than he has in the past. But aside from America's wealthiest citizens, some unions have also broken away from the Democrats. More than a couple of unions refused to endorse Kamala Harris as well. The Teamsters https://theblacksphere.net/2024/10/trumps-latest-economic-triumph-has-democrats-panicked/ that 60 percent of its membership favored Trump, while the Steamfitters went further, reporting 70 percent for Trump: Wow. The day after the Teamsters released their survey results showing 60% support among their members for Trump, a Steamfitters Union member announces that 70% of his members support Trump. Trump has UNPRECEDENTED support with blue collar workers.https://t.co/aHqteibKgo — johnny maga (@_johnnymaga) https://twitter.com/_johnnymaga/status/1836758130069241975?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The Black Vote And while all those other factors weigh in the decision of how much the cabal can cheat, the biggest factor remains the Black vote. And the Black vote moving away from Democrats is no longer a secret. Despite the media doing all that it could to paint Trump as a racist and Harris as Black, the narrative failed. The Black vote decide this election, and I predict as much as 30 percent will go to President Trump. That much of a shift represents a death knell for Democrats. Understand the ramifications the loss of the Black vote does for Democrats. Democrats use Blacks to anger the masses. That anger is how Democrats perpetuated the lie of J6. So the loss of the Black votes inserts a huge wrinkle in the fabric of the cabal. Because a Trump win won't trigger Blacks to anger, but instead a Trump loss will. If Trump loses, America will see a Black revolt bigger than that of Michael Brown Jr's and George Floyd's deaths combined. And for those who say that the majority of Blacks remain Democrats, that's true. But the most boisterous Blacks will be those who left the Democratic Party and see Trump as their only hope. These are the Blacks willing to disrupt. Exit polling will validate what I already stated about the Black vote. Trump the Felon and Biden the Beleaguered Today, Leftists admit that our nation is being led by a WILD MAN. A man with a malfunctioning brain represents us to the world! And Democrats knew, but didn't care. Trump cares and America finally recognizes the difference between the two parties. So now we find ourselves in a place Democrats thought we would never see: Trump back in the driver's seat.   Weren't his indictments and convictions supposed to do him in? That strategy reminds me of 2016 when Democrats maneuvered to make Trump the Republican nominee. They felt he was the easiest to beat. Then, they got snake bit. The same is true now. They maneuvered to make Trump a chump. A felon. A sex offender who women would hate. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Today, people PROUDLY vote for the felon. Remember all the times we were told that Trump would be arrested? That he wouldn't be able to campaign, he would so tied up in court. They didn't even hide their strategy, they were so cocky about it. Where are we now?!! There was a time when you likely wondered if we would get here. [SEGMENT 1-1] Trump magic Remind me, but didn't a hurricane hit FL and NC? I haven't heard much about that. FEMA is taking over land, and these people are still suffering. How quickly we forget things that are very important. We all suffer from it. We see the next shiny object. Part of what I try to do on this show is to reflect back. Look, I'm excited for what's happened to Conservatives over the past couple of weeks. That's not true. I'm excited for Conservatism over the past couple of years. But it's a daily battle. Welcome… I'm happy to be in the fight and with YOU. Your support keeps me going and every time I let you folks in on happenings in my life, you step up. No organization can do this without you. Trump is popular for one reason: YOU. All him money, fame, etc would be nothing, without you stepping up to support him. And you do this because he EARNS it. So I'm grateful that he thumbed Democrats in the face by working at McDonalds. I'm ecstatic that JD Vance crushed Walz in that debate. But we can't forget the misery being inflicted on Americans daily by the policies Biden was instructed to implement. And we must fight harder than the Left to make sure that Americans are not forgotten. There are always distractions, but we should never take our minds off human suffering from vaccines, the invasion of illegals, the criminals the Left release on the streets, the drugs the Left allow to kill Americans, the wars they fund while neglecting American citizens…   Without Trump as president, we've witness human suffering. And this man has changed politics, perhaps forever. Obama was thought to have done this. Perhaps he did, just not in the way Democrats believed. I recall Carville saying that Democrats may control politics for decades after the election of Obama. Ironically, they lost the presidency the next term. And this after trying to cheat Hillary Clinton into office. I predict that if Trump had served his rightful second term he would have altered politics for decades. But in a way, the coup of Trump worked out better for Republicans and America. Had Trump served back-to-back terms, we would never have seen the true underbelly of politics. How crooked the DOJ really is. And what of the unelected bureaucrats like Fauci who imprisoned the entire country over blatant lies? Lies that needlessly killed thousands of people, and did permanent damage to thousands more. The delay in Trump's second term allowed him to assess the damage. What happened in his first term that allowed a man who did such a magnificent job to lose? And to a brain-damaged moron. Trump said it himself. Did you know you can catch trout and tarpon in the same trip, along with exotic jungle species?  I didn't either, but Kevin Jackson [42:22] of Fly Fish Costa Rica shares with us the wide variety of fly fishing you can have in this diverse and well-preserved ecosystem. And also the rare wildlife you might see in this country that offers saltwater, jungle, and mountain trout fishing.   In the Fly Box this week, we have some great questions and hopefully answers that will help many of you solve the same problems in your fishing, including: I keep getting accused of "flossing" Pacific salmon when fly fishing for them but I see them aggressively take my flies.  What are your thoughts on this? What purpose does dubbing serve on a dry fly?  Does it add buoyancy? A listener thanks us for the podcast on knots and also on our support of policies to address climate change . I recently opened a box of my grandfather's tackle from 1944 that includes a bamboo rod, gut leaders, flies, and a silk fly line.  Should I use them? What sort of performance should I expect from the new Orvis Superfine bamboo fly rod? What impact will the recent disastrous floods in North Carolina have on the future of fly fishing? I want to purchase a vintage Orvis bamboo fly rod.  Would one be a reliable fishing tool? When I switch dry flies, should I be more concerned with size, pattern, or color? What can I do to prevent the unnatural curves in saltwater flies after they are used? My brother and I were using the same streamer in a slow-moving river.  I caught a bunch of fish and he didn't but I was casting my streamer at a different angle to the current.  Do you think this made the difference?
