What up Fellas!
A (relatively) in-depth analysis of American rapper and producer Markese Money Rolle, otherwise known as SpaceGhostPurrp in (just over) twenty five minutes. In this episode I am in conversation with A Du Tre.Born in Miami, Florida, Purrp is the founder of the now-defunct American hip hop group Raider Klan, the co-founder of Black Money Boys and has collaborated with Xavier Wulf, Robb Banks, Denzel Curry, Pouya, Yung Simmie and Chris Travis. Purrp's groundbreaking debut studio album Mysterious Phonk: Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp was released in 2012. Since 2010, he has released over twenty five mixtapes, the latest being Blackland Radio 66.6 Pt. 4 in 2023.Like MF DOOM before him, Purrp's name is derived from a cartoon character (from Hanna-Barbera's 1966 TV series Space Ghost).I hope you enjoy the podcast and do leave feedback if you like what you you have heard.Mathew Woodall

Once a member of the Raider Klan, Denzel Curry is a rapper from Carol City, Florida and originally dropped this project as a SoundCloud Mixtape in early 2016 but soon re-released it to streaming services late 2016 removing two original tracks (Narcotics & Pure Enough)with the new tracks (Me Now & Goodnight). He delivers an amazing project with nice lyricism and melodic bangers off this album. Denzel proves himself very much. Your hosts this episode: OptimalAudio kittenpuke influentialdetour In this episode your hosts are joined by Troy AKA influentialdetour to discuss one of the more underrated major legend influences in today's underground rap scene, Black Kray (AKA Sickboyrari). Discussing his early days as a Raider Klan affiliate, his amazing era of mashing Witch House with Cloud Rap and his later domination and experiments with the Tread and Emo Rap sounds. There's no doubt to Kray's ability to have had a hand in nearly every burgeoning sound and style of today and the pod is glad to celebrate that by cranking through nearly his whole discography. Along the way we also discuss Lil B's past feud with Reddit and the lack of appreciation for producers in the mainstream. North Carolina rapper J.K. The Reaper aligns provoking lyricism with 808 engulfed hi-hats and synth melodies that typically induce simplicity, much like contemporaries Joey BadA$$, Denzel Curry, and Earl Sweatshirt. Born Jabril Kenan, he first found a passion for hip-hop through his father's all genre-encompassing, record collection. A home life where music discovery was the ultimate currency undoubtedly influenced the development of J.K. The Reaper’s knack for putting rhymes and beats together, with unshakable inspiration drawn from the likes of Nas and Outkast. Before acknowledging ‘The Reaper’ within, illustrious dark and intellectual lyrics drew internet fans in through a stream of Soundcloud releases he recorded in his childhood bedroom. Those bedroom recordings necessitated creativity beyond the technical means at hand and consequently landed him the sole collaborator on Miami-area, Raider Klan rapper SpaceGhostPurrp’s ‘Blackland Radio 66.6.’ Collaborating with Raider Klan affiliates, birthed J.K.’s most recognizable song to-date, ‘Gankin,’ featuring Denzel Curry, who took him on the road with support acts such as Joey BadA$$.“J.K.'s drive to bless your ears with something unheard of is unmatched,” says Revolt. The anticipation that his followers light around each and every release burns bright and, the heats no different when it comes to his “Surrounded By Idiots” project that drops November 16th.Follow Sidewalk Talk:https://twitter.com/sidewalktalkshw (all updates)https://instagram.com/sidewalktalkrhythm See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

PL12, is an American record producer, songwriter and rapper. PL began his music career in his family’s church playing guitar & drums.
