It is imperative in Hip-Hop that no individual should lose their life due to conflicts or misunderstandings. Spade O is an undeniable Philadelphia rap legend. Despite limited material his ability, inclusion in Major Figgas and mythical status cemented him as Top 5 unanimously in the Philly rap pantheon. He joins us today to discuss his life in Philadelphia, the formation of Major Figgas and his whirlwind ride through the music industry before his untimely incarceration. Throughout the interview Spade is candid about his street life, poor decisions and what he described as “throwing rocks at the penitentiary for years.” He is raw, descriptive and brutally honest about how his own choices limited his ceiling and robbed him of celebrity. But it's not all bad by a long shot. Today we discuss redemption after prison, changing his life for better and committing himself to changing the trajectory of the youth in Philadelphia the best way he sees fit. This is an epic interview fitting his legacy and the amazing memories he produced for all his fans and supporters. Beanie Sigel plays wannabe drug kingpin "Beans" in this 2002 crime film from the Roc-A-Fella conglomerate. Jay-Z and several members of the State Property rap group appear in the film. You either get down or you lay down. Topics discussed:The movie is violent and brutal. There are copious amounts of nudity, and right from the jump. There is no real character development or plot line for that matter. Jay-Z's talents are wasted in this film, as his role is brief and consists mostly of mumbles. The soundtrack may be the sole highlight of this film, and just barely.
