oOOOOoooOOoo! It's our second Halloween and that means another spooky-scary-special!Yes, we're fashionably late this year thanks to some technical issues when putting the episode together, but hopefully you're all still in the mood for a creepy video game or two!No games from the list this time, just discussions about horrifying Remakes, overpriced beat-em-ups, games that really need not exist and a couple of gems that are now more easily accessible than ever!Oh and Jay plays and reviews The Quiet Place game... a stealth based horror... it doesn't take a mad scientist to work out how that went!Enjoy!**The Bucket List Gamers Discord Server**As you may have heard in the episode, we now have our very own Discord server where you can chat to like minded Bucket List-ners, recommend games to us and just generally have a jolly old time! Here's the link to join: https://discord.gg/P8zE5zWxbBif you're a Patreon let us know your Discord username and we'll add you to the VIP area! Welcome back to the Kotaku Australia Podcast for Episode 35! It was Halloween when Emily and I recorded this episode, and we used it as an opportunity to talk about some of our favourite scary games, including Amnesia and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem! Meanwhile, I've been playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and I'd like to yell about how good it is for a bit. Thank you for indulging me. A bit of a sad announcement: though the show concludes with Emily and saying we'll see you next week, it turns out we won't. This is the final episode of The Kotaku Australia Podcast. Our aural experiment has come to an end -- for now. We have plans to create more video and pod content in the future, but for now, we are putting this particular project to bed. Where will be pop up next? Who knows. This feed will be come an archive of every episode of the show, and we may update it from time to time in the future when we have an interview or review we feel is podcast worthy. Thank you for listening, for watching, for reviewing, for telling your friends about our show. We're grateful and we've loved making it for you. See you round, Space Cowboy.Get all the gaming news daily on Kotaku Australia!: https://www.kotaku.com.auSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This is most definitely an episode for the horror game lovers of the world! This might seem weird to talk about video games on a paranormal podcast but there are a rhyme and reasoning behind it. In horror in general there is a huge paranormal influence. Games like Until Dawn with the concept focusing on Wendigos, the paranormal has found its way into video games in many forms. In this episode, we are also diving deep into the idea of what if technology evolved to the point where virtual reality gaming is a thing, and you could literally see the most intense paranormal findings or exorcisms videos in real life or what if they translated that into an actual video game? Or what if a world existed where something similar to Oasis in Ready Player One became real? And would the paranormal eventually find their way of being present there?H2O Capsule H2O capsule is a water bottle that can hold your keys and your credit card! It's spoooOOOoOoOoOOOooky time on Bikers, Dice, and Bars! We decided to be cliche and do our first ever Halloween-themed episode, accompanying our talk with a variety of pumpkin beers from the great Pacific Northwest. In our Bike Talk segment, we talk about how to effectively ride on Halloween, including costume ideas, costume no-nos, and other tips. In our game talk, we talk about techniques for effectively instilling true fear in horror-based video games. In our Bar Talk segment, we share stories of working the industry on Halloween, among other bits of drunken tangential ramblings.
