Two of this year's most anticipated games have release! God of war: Ragnarök and Sonic Frontiers! Jesse and Nate give their first hands on impressions about these games. Did God of war kill it? Is Sonic BACK?!

With the Mario movie trailer looking good, Jesse and Nate talk about the video game movies of the pass, both good and bad. Then because it's Halloween, we talk about a few of our favorite horror video games.

The alleged Stockton serial killer, who has claimed 5 victims Was captured and will now face Justice! A Mississippi day care scare gone wrong! The daycare employees thought it would be funny to put on a scary Halloween mask and terrify little kids.

Jesse and Nate talk about the new released DC Comic movie, Black Adam. They discuss the reviews they heard before going into the movie and whether they agreed or disagreed. Then they talked about UFC 280 about the results, the surprise victory, and NEW Champion. Lastly, they discussed the trailer that was recently released of The Super Mario Bros. Movie that will be released in 2023. They discussed their opinions and they anticipations of the movie.

Lica, Jesse, and Nate discuss the 5 murders in the last few months in Stockton, CA and the possibility of the works of a serial killer. We talk about the patterns we notice when reading the new articles and also the story of the one woman who survived being shot at multiple times and police believe this incident might be connected. Then we talk about 24-year-old woman losing her job due to a tik tok she made while working. This is becoming a common trend as people post a day in the life trendy videos, employers say these videos breach privacy policies at the workplace.

In this episode of Nerd Talk, Nate talks about his experience with Splatoon 3 should you buy it? Jesse and Nate then talk about sonic frontiers, God of war, and other up and coming games. We then close with something Nate noticed. A lot of old fighting games are getting updates to their online modes and cross-play (being able to play online with other versions of the same game) As well as the announcement of street fighter 6 and Tekken 8, is the gaming world about have a fighting game renaissance?

Then we discussed the stereotypes of astrology signs, are they true? Jesse and Lica are both Gemini, so we talk about the negative comments they hear when sharing this info with others. Lastly, we talk about marriage, marriage after children and the sacrifice of happiness for family.

Jesse and Nate finally watch the new movie, Dragon ball super: superhero! We go all in on this review so SPOILERS up front. Did we like it? Did we love it? Does it suck?! How does it stand up against the other Dragonball films? Now having seen the new movie we thought it was the best time to pick our top 5 Dragonball movies, Superhero included. Where does superhero place on our lists? What is our number 1?

Lica, Jesse and Nate go back and forth about the controversy on the making of the "Rings of Power" show coming to Amazon Prime and if they should have the freedom to produce a show based on a series that was a gift to the British people that steers away from the original concepts. Is that fraud and a disservice to Tolkien? Is boycotting the show enough to steer Amazon to next time produce a show more accurate to the original content?

Lica, Jesse, and Nate discuss a new hot topic of former president Donald Trump home being raided for documents that are assumed to be taken upon leaving the White House; we are unsure if anything of substance was actually found. Then we discuss Gen Z and the idea of them already experiencing burnout, and possible reasons why. We discuss the desire for most is to be social media influencers, and how we see a lack of actual labor workers in our future.

Nate & Jesse discuss their top 5 anime movies, which ones left the most impact and why? Then an interesting question came up for Nate & Jesse as they reflected on being Anime fans in the 90's. Now that anime has transition to the mainstream, are we (those who were fans of Anime before it was cool) anime hipsters?

Lica, Jesse, and Nate talk about the TikTok Influencer, Wren Eleanor who is a young tiktok influencer with millions of followers and when does this exposure become exploitation? Should her mother be able to collect money from her social media revenues, and are their law for children influences? Then we talk about the principal of Robb Elementary who is on administrative leave not responding correct to a breach in security before the Texas School Shooting. Lastly, we walk about the importance of rough and tumble play for children and their development. We talk about the effects of not providing rough and tumble play for children and how this type of play is mislabeled as aggression.

Lica, Jesse, and Nate come back from an almost, month-long hiatus due to getting COVID for the second time. We talk about new updated information that has surfaced from the Uvalde mass shooting. We talk about the lack of response of law enforcement and then we begin talking about a bunch of other stuff. We discuss family dynamics, and accountability. We begin a series sharing our experiences we had while attending a religious organization and our realization of its cult like tendencies. We share stories of our time there and how our experiences still affect us daily in our workplaces, sexuality, and daily lives. We invited a guest that we've known for over 10 years who also attended the same organization and ask her to share her experiences, as well.

Jane. Did Will Smith overreact? Should Will be charged for assault? How far is too far when it comes to comedy, which seems to be question often asked. Then we discuss the senseless murder of Justin People, a Navy veteran was murdered at a gas station in Tracy, California all because of the color of his skin. Murders are in custody, prayers for the People family. Good news for the senior, homeless and disabled dogs in Ukraine a local couple is recusing dogs and taking them to Poland to be rehomed or reunited with their owners.

Pokémon legends Arceus is finally out and both Jesse and Nate grabbed a copy day one. They have only scratched the surface of the game and give their options on it. Is this a good direction for the franchise to go in? Then Jesse and Nate list off their top 5 songs from video games of the 16-bit era.
