What does it take for India to deliver electricity to hundreds of millions while simultaneously building a fast-growing clean energy system? Can it overcome its fossil dependence to secure its energy futures with renewables? And how will India's development choices shape the global climate fight in the decades ahead?India, like China, is home to over a billion people, and is highly reliant on imported fossil fuels and domestic coal. But unlike China, it still has a very rural population and has not yet experienced the rapid rise in per capita energy consumption that accompanied China's recent development boom. The future path India takes to development is therefore of critical importance. In this episode of Cleaning Up, Bryony Worthington sits down with Dr. Arunabha Ghosh, founder and CEO of the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, and Special Envoy for COP30. Together they explore India's “twin transition”, achieving universal energy access while driving a massive expansion of clean power. From the data-driven electrification of 130 million households, to innovations in market design that slashed solar prices, to India's push for secure, diversified green supply chains, this conversation reveals a rarely told side of India's energy transition story.Arunabha also shares insights on India's role in international climate diplomacy, the significance of cooperation with China and Brazil, and the urgent need for hyper-local climate risk assessment to protect communities from extreme weather.Leadership Circle:Cleaning Up is supported by the Leadership Circle, and its founding members: Actis, Alcazar Energy, Davidson Kempner, EcoPragma Capital, EDP of Portugal, Eurelectric, the Gilardini Foundation, KKR, National Grid, Octopus Energy, Quadrature Climate Foundation, SDCL and Wärtsilä. Week 5 brought fireworks across college football, and Get Off My Pylon covers it all. Oregon scored the weekend's signature win, knocking off Penn State in a Happy Valley whiteout that vaulted the Ducks into playoff contention. USC, on the other hand, repeated familiar mistakes, losing late at Illinois as Lincoln Riley's game management came under fire. Arizona State continued its uncanny ability to pull out tight wins, keeping pace in a crowded Big 12. Matt Zemek also reviews Cal, Stanford, San Diego State, Utah, Colorado, and BYU, plus UCLA's disastrous slide. From dramatic overtimes to program-level questions, this week's episode unpacks the shifting balance of power in the Big Ten and beyond. This episode is sponsored in part by TicketSmarter:Use promo code LWOS10 to receive $10 off purchases of $100 or moreUse promo code LWOS20 to receive $20 off purchases of $300 or moreThink smarter. Are you living on the fence—lukewarm, half-in, half-out with God? In Revelation 3:14-22, Jesus rebukes the church in Laodicea for their compromise and spiritual apathy, calling them to zeal, repentance, and full commitment to Him. This message challenges us today to get off the fence, open the door to Christ, and experience the power of a fully surrendered life.

This week on Get Off My Pylon, Matt Zemek reviews Week 4 and dives into the biggest matchups of Week 5 across college football. Utah's quarterback depth issues resurface in a loss to Texas Tech, while Arizona State, UNLV, and Boise State all leave more questions than answers in the Big 12 and Mountain West. San Diego State makes a statement with a 34–0 rout of Cal, raising eyebrows across the West. Then it's time to look ahead: Ohio State visits Washington, USC travels to Illinois, and the headliner — Oregon battles Penn State in a primetime clash that could reshape the playoff race. This episode is sponsored in part by TicketSmarter:Use promo code LWOS10 to receive $10 off purchases of $100 or moreUse promo code LWOS20 to receive $20 off purchases of $300 or moreThink smarter. Many of us grew up in churches where our love for God was determined by how much of yourself you sacrificed for the sake of eternal salvation. You attended every service and every event. You served on as many ministry teams as you could, stretching yourself thin. You even invited your friends and coworkers thinking, “if I could just get them to my church” they'd see the value of living for Jesus. Well, it's time to get off the battlefield for the Lord. It's possible to love God and stay connected to yourself. It's also possible to maintain a healthy relationship with your faith without having to be present and available for everything. It takes some deconstructing, decolonizing, reimagining, and rebuilding, but it's possible. Send us a textIf social media were to be believed, everyone is on a diet. No judgement here, believe me. We live in a dieting culture - it is the air we breathe and the sea we swim in.But we are shrinking ourselves in more ways than one, at a time, where we need to take up space and stand up to the establishment, not cower under it.Alok Venom: "I belong firmly and irrevocably to me. Once I began to realise that this body is mine, other people's appraisal of it became irrelevant."Ela and I have both stopped pretending that this diet culture noise doesn't affect us. Yes, we care about how we look, but as Stefanie Michele mentioned on the podcast last week, we now refuse to give our appearance so much power. How do we encourage our clients to do the same? Staying on the 'non-diet' train takes work, determination, and an ability to sit with some discomfort. The non-sexy option? Maybe. But cultivating a good relationship with our bodies is invaluable. Listening to our body's cues and nourishing them, rather than punishing them, will help to build that body respect, trust, and eventually acceptance.Take care of yourselves. It's tough out there. x Please reach out if you would like some support with your relationship to food OR movement. Ela currently has limited spaces for Intuitive Eating coaching and if you'd like to reconnect with movement, contact Christine.AND if you enjoyed this episode, please share and follow the 'Find Your Strong podcast' and if you have time, write us a short review. On this latest edition of Tunnel Vision USCFootball.com's Ryan Abraham, Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple-Double") and Chris Trevino are back from West Lafayette where they witnessed the USC football team winning a game in the Eastern time zone for the first time since 2012, a 33-17 victory over Big Ten foe Purdue. The Trojans didn't win a true conference road game last season and now get that monkey off their back as the Big Ten schedule begins to heat up. It wasn't the cleanest game for Lincoln Riley and company, with 9 penalties for 104 yards, 4 for 13 on 3rd down conversions and giving up double-digit explosive passing plays to Purdue. But the Trojans were able to make some big plays of their own, including three interceptions with a pick-6 by Jamaal Jarrett, 10 yards per pass attempt by Jayden Maiava, zero punts and a perfect 4 for 4 on fourth down plays. The crew breaks down everything they saw and heard in West Lafayette, including the unexpected three hour weather delay that put all game plans in jeopardy and the importance of picking up a road conference win against a Purdue squad that looks much improved over last season. As the city of Flint, Michigan works to restore itself to its former glory, its residents look to improve their living conditions within it. It's a great step up for couple Kim and Amber Perryman who are able to move their family from the rougher side of town to more spacious digs in a much nicer neighborhood. By their own admission, the Perrymans are a rambunctious lot, which quickly lands them on the wrong side of their new neighbors directly across the street- The Bretts. Minor irritants escalate to major ones, and the two families are increasingly at each other's throats until dueling Memorial Day parties becomes the last straw and a horrific street battle turns fatal. Matt Zemek reviews week two of West Coast college football. Oregon's 69–3 rout of Oklahoma State turned heads, but weak opposition leaves questions unanswered. UCLA, meanwhile, looks like a sinking ship under DeShaun Foster, raising doubts about a bowl appearance. USC's offense continues to impress, though defensive issues remain a concern, while Washington quietly rolls through early matchups. Fresno State's narrow win over Oregon State and Washington State's strong showing highlight the evolving Mountain West picture. Zemek stresses that it's early in the season, but storylines are beginning to form as teams prepare for tougher tests ahead. This episode is sponsored in part by TicketSmarter:Use promo code LWOS10 to receive $10 off purchases of $100 or moreUse promo code LWOS20 to receive $20 off purchases of $300 or moreThink smarter. There is a powerful office in the Treasury Department called the Office of Foreign Assets Control, or OFAC. You could argue that the officials in OFAC are the most powerful government functionaries in the world. They are the functionaries who sanction companies, organizations, and individuals, by adding these entities to a list called the Specially Designated Nationals List, or SDN List for short. Today, there are over 17,000 designated entities. The list includes Iranian government institutions, Afghan jihadists, Russian state enterprises, Venezuelan officials, and Mexican drug lords—a growing list of entities that the US deems a threat to national security. Launch Your Box Podcast with Sarah Williams | Start, Launch, and Grow Your Subscription Box
If you've been in business for any length of time, you've probably felt it: the sales rollercoaster. One month you're celebrating record sales, the next you're staring at your numbers wondering how to make ends meet. It's exhausting. And it's not the way you want to run your business long term. In this episode of the Launch Your Box Podcast, I'm teaming up with Susan Bradley of the Social Sales Girls , an expert in brand collaborations, to share two powerful strategies that can help you finally step off that rollercoaster for good. We're talking about: Why consistency matters when it comes to sales and cash flow. Two proven pathways to consistency: growing your audience through collaborations and keeping customers buying through recurring revenue. The biggest mistakes to avoid when starting with either strategy. Simple, actionable tips you can take this week to start seeing results. Why Consistency Matters Most product-based business owners know the highs and lows all too well. Big spikes during launches or holidays, followed by long slow stretches. That's stressful and unpredictable. Consistency is what allows you to grow and scale. Consistent visibility brings in new customers, while recurring revenue keeps your cash flow steady month after month. You need both for a strong, sustainable business. Pathway 1: Brand Collaborations When you collaborate, you don't just expand your reach. You also build credibility by being introduced through someone your audience already trusts. Take Action: Identify three businesses with a similar audience but a different product. Brainstorm a simple joint promotion to share with both audiences. Pathway 2: Recurring Revenue with Subscription Boxes Subscription boxes stabilize your revenue and keep customers coming back. A subscription box turns a one-time purchase into an ongoing relationship, giving your business the consistency you've been missing. This strategy has transformed so many businesses, including mine. Predictable income means you can plan better, hire smarter, and focus on growth instead of chasing the next sale. Take Action: Start with a product your customers already buy regularly and brainstorm how you could offer it in a subscription format. Mistakes to Avoid Even the best strategies can backfire if you approach them the wrong way. Collaboration Mistakes: Picking partners for their product instead of the audience they serve.
