You're on multiple preventatives. Brain fog, hair loss, exhausted all the time. You feel "stable" but not good. You tell your neurologist you want to come off one. They say: "Cut it in half for a week, quarter it for another week, stop in two weeks." You follow their advice. Two weeks later? Massive migraine flare that lasts five days. You're back in their office. They shrug: "Well, what did you expect? I guess you need the medication." So you think: I guess I'm stuck on this forever. Here's the truth: Nobody has a Topamax deficiency. You weren't born needing it. Dr. Leslie has walked hundreds of clients through weaning off Topamax, propranolol, gabapentin, nortriptyline, even antipsychotics and anti-seizure meds. If you try to come off preventatives while still getting 10 migraines a month, it won't go well, even with a slow wean. Dr. Leslie breaks down the two critical factors for successfully coming off preventatives: timing (your health must be restored first so migraine frequency drops significantly) and the correct wean-off approach (not your neurologist's rushed 2-week plan). In this episode of Get Off My Pylon, host Matt Zemek covers the latest in Western college football, beginning with the Mountain West where San Diego State is still alive in the Group of Five race following a convincing road shutout over Fresno State. In the Bay Area, Stanford impressed by giving Miami a tough battle for longer than expected, while Cal's agonizing overtime loss to Virginia Tech suggests a middle-of-the-road existence, though a win over Stanford would guarantee a bowl berth. The Big 12 is highlighted by undefeated BYU, led by freshman QB Bear Bachmeier, who continues to conquer in-game adversity in road wins, making Offensive Coordinator Aaron Rodrick a hot coaching commodity. Utah's upcoming game against a surprising Cincinnati team will be a measuring stick for the Utes after they easily dispatched Colorado. In the Big Ten, Washington hammered Illinois, keeping the Huskies in the conference and playoff conversation. Conversely, UCLA was blown out by Indiana, exposing a lack of depth and physicality against top teams, prompting calls for Athletic Director Martin Jarmond's firing and a broad head coaching search. Finally, USC had the week off and faces a crucial, defining road game against Nebraska, which will serve as a playoff and Big Ten title eliminator for the loser. This episode is sponsored in part by TicketSmarter:Use promo code LWOS10 to receive $10 off purchases of $100 or moreUse promo code LWOS20 to receive $20 off purchases of $300 or moreThink smarter. Have you ever wondered how to get OFF your PPI safely - without hurting your body in the process? This is one of the most common questions I get from my clients who are struggling with acid reflux. You care for your face, your body, your mind, but when was the last time you cared for the skin down there? In this candid episode of The Skin Real, Dr. Mary Alice Mina sits down with urogynecologist Dr. Nabila Noor to talk about one of the most overlooked parts of women's wellness: vulvar skin. Together, they unpack the myths, shame, and silence surrounding “the skin where the sun doesn't shine,” reminding women that caring for this area isn't taboo, it's essential. Dr. Noor brings her expertise and empathy to every question, explaining how vulvar and vaginal skin differ, what products are safe (and which to skip), and why issues like irritation, dryness, and incontinence are common, but never normal. From postpartum recovery to perimenopause, this episode is a masterclass in reclaiming body literacy. It's an honest, empowering reminder that your body deserves care, curiosity, and compassion Key Takeaways: ✓ The vulva is external skin—distinct from the internal vagina, and requires gentle, fragrance-free care. ✓ “Less is more”: water is the best cleanser; avoid douching and scented wipes that disrupt your natural balance. ✓ Postpartum changes like dryness, laxity, or leakage are common and reversible with support and pelvic floor therapy. ✓ Estrogen loss in breastfeeding and menopause can cause dryness, discomfort, and incontinence, but these can be treated. ✓ Simple, safe moisturizers like petroleum jelly, coconut oil, or zinc-based creams often outperform marketed “feminine care” products. ✓ Shame and misinformation keep women silent—knowing your anatomy and seeking help early can prevent long-term issues. ✓ Women's health is whole-body health: caring for your vulva is an act of confidence, not vanity. This is the conversation we've all needed, but rarely had. Whether you're navigating postpartum healing, perimenopause, or simply curious about how to better care for yourself, this episode will leave you informed, affirmed, and empowered. Dr. Nabila Noor is a nationally recognized Urogynecologist, Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon, and Assistant Professor with advanced fellowship training from Harvard Medical School. As a double board-certified expert and high-volume surgeon, she is a thought leader in women's pelvic health, surgical innovation, and patient education. What does it take for India to deliver electricity to hundreds of millions while simultaneously building a fast-growing clean energy system? Can it overcome its fossil dependence to secure its energy futures with renewables? And how will India's development choices shape the global climate fight in the decades ahead?India, like China, is home to over a billion people, and is highly reliant on imported fossil fuels and domestic coal. But unlike China, it still has a very rural population and has not yet experienced the rapid rise in per capita energy consumption that accompanied China's recent development boom. The future path India takes to development is therefore of critical importance. In this episode of Cleaning Up, Bryony Worthington sits down with Dr. Arunabha Ghosh, founder and CEO of the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, and Special Envoy for COP30. Together they explore India's “twin transition”, achieving universal energy access while driving a massive expansion of clean power. From the data-driven electrification of 130 million households, to innovations in market design that slashed solar prices, to India's push for secure, diversified green supply chains, this conversation reveals a rarely told side of India's energy transition story.Arunabha also shares insights on India's role in international climate diplomacy, the significance of cooperation with China and Brazil, and the urgent need for hyper-local climate risk assessment to protect communities from extreme weather.Leadership Circle:Cleaning Up is supported by the Leadership Circle, and its founding members: Actis, Alcazar Energy, Davidson Kempner, EcoPragma Capital, EDP of Portugal, Eurelectric, the Gilardini Foundation, KKR, National Grid, Octopus Energy, Quadrature Climate Foundation, SDCL and Wärtsilä. Week 5 brought fireworks across college football, and Get Off My Pylon covers it all. Oregon scored the weekend's signature win, knocking off Penn State in a Happy Valley whiteout that vaulted the Ducks into playoff contention. USC, on the other hand, repeated familiar mistakes, losing late at Illinois as Lincoln Riley's game management came under fire. Arizona State continued its uncanny ability to pull out tight wins, keeping pace in a crowded Big 12. Matt Zemek also reviews Cal, Stanford, San Diego State, Utah, Colorado, and BYU, plus UCLA's disastrous slide. From dramatic overtimes to program-level questions, this week's episode unpacks the shifting balance of power in the Big Ten and beyond. This episode is sponsored in part by TicketSmarter:Use promo code LWOS10 to receive $10 off purchases of $100 or moreUse promo code LWOS20 to receive $20 off purchases of $300 or moreThink smarter. Are you living on the fence—lukewarm, half-in, half-out with God? In Revelation 3:14-22, Jesus rebukes the church in Laodicea for their compromise and spiritual apathy, calling them to zeal, repentance, and full commitment to Him. This message challenges us today to get off the fence, open the door to Christ, and experience the power of a fully surrendered life.

On this latest edition of Tunnel Vision USCFootball.com's Ryan Abraham, Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple-Double") and Chris Trevino are back from West Lafayette where they witnessed the USC football team winning a game in the Eastern time zone for the first time since 2012, a 33-17 victory over Big Ten foe Purdue. The Trojans didn't win a true conference road game last season and now get that monkey off their back as the Big Ten schedule begins to heat up. It wasn't the cleanest game for Lincoln Riley and company, with 9 penalties for 104 yards, 4 for 13 on 3rd down conversions and giving up double-digit explosive passing plays to Purdue. But the Trojans were able to make some big plays of their own, including three interceptions with a pick-6 by Jamaal Jarrett, 10 yards per pass attempt by Jayden Maiava, zero punts and a perfect 4 for 4 on fourth down plays. The crew breaks down everything they saw and heard in West Lafayette, including the unexpected three hour weather delay that put all game plans in jeopardy and the importance of picking up a road conference win against a Purdue squad that looks much improved over last season.
