We're getting to the pointy end and things are starting to wrap up!Perrin's army is at each other's throats and they are hungry. #thewheeloftime All roads have led to Falme. Nynaeve and Elayne attempt to rescue Egwene. Mat is tempted by an old friend. The Children of the Light invade the Seanchan and the Battle of Falme begins. Perrin's fight leads to the loss of a friend. Moiraine and Lan make amends. Ishamael moves to Plan B when he realizes he's been betrayed. Egwene makes good on a promise. Rand confronts his past. Ishamael gets what he has always wanted. "Above the Watchers shall the Dragon be proclaimed, bannered cross the sky in fire."

#thewheeloftime Rand makes a deal that puts some distance between him and Moiraine. Nynaeve and Elayne learn more about the Seanchan and warn Rema Sedai about Liandrin's change of allegiance. Egwene gets a rough lesson in what being a Damane really means. Ingtar and Loial gather information about the Horn of Valere. Mat has a happy reunion, but has to make a painful decision when he learns of Min's betrayal. Lan makes a confession to the Amyrlin Seat. Moiraine attempts to make amends with her family. Rand is confronted on his way to Falme.Editor's Note: Around the 8:30 mark, we begin discussing the actor playing the role of Renna, and it is brought to our attention that they prefer he/they pronouns, although they are playing a confirmed female character. #thewheeloftime The Seanchan return to their home across the sea, but receive a chilly reception upon their arrival. Rand seeks answers while he and Moraine flee for their lives. Perrin unwillingly returns to Atuan's Mill, where he evades an old enemy, while making a new ally. Verin returns to the White Tower to seek answers, and is disturbed by the discrepancies she finds. Liandrin confesses her sins to Nynaeve. Moraine receives some much needed advise from a sympathetic ear. Nynaeve, Egwene, and Elayne find themselves in a dire situation. All roads lead to Falme.

#thewheeloftime The quintet from the Two Rivers are all facing challenges. Nynaeve faces her trials in The Arches, where she must face the fears of her past, present, and future. Perrin is forced to bow to the rule of the Seanchan, where one of their number takes a particular interest in him. Egwene tests the limits of her abilities when she refuses to accept a major loss. Mat is suspicious when Liandrin makes a generous offer. Rand seeks guidance from a familiar face.

She then transports herself and Rand into the city, where Rand confronts and kills Turak and his men. This causes Ishamael to learn of Rand's presence and realize that Lanfear has betrayed him. Ishamael orders Padan Fain to deliver the dagger from Shadar Logoth to Mat, in an attempt to kill Rand. However, Mat refuses to take the dagger and escapes. The Whitecloaks, led by Dain and his father Geofram, attack Falme in an attempt to eradicate the Seanchan. During the chaos, Ingtar, Loial, and Masema escape with the Horn of Valere and join the battle alongside Mat, Perrin, and the Aiel. Ingtar is killed in the process. Egwene manages to break free from her a'dam and kill Renna. Mat is forced to blow the Horn, summoning the Heroes of the Horn and turning the tide of the battle. At the same time, Perrin kills Geofram out of rage due to him killing Hopper. Rand, Egwene, Nynaeve, Perrin, and Mat reunite and are confronted by Ishamael. Ishamael has Rand shielded from the One Power and tricks Mat into wounding Rand. While Egwene and Perrin fight Ishamael, Moiraine frees Rand from the shield, allowing him to slay Ishamael. Rand is then proclaimed the Dragon Reborn before the whole city. After the battle, Moghedien confronts Lanfear and informs her that all the Forsaken have been released.

If you've seen The Wheel of Time and Fallout, there's a good chance we had a similar viewing experience. The entire Wheel of Time ensemble is fantastic, but Season 2, which dropped on Prime Video from September 1 to October 6, brought in a new standout character, Renna, the Seanchan sul'dam responsible for making it an especially dark season for Madeleine Madden's Egwene. As terrible as Renna is, you can't take your eyes off her, and the credit for that goes to the actor in the role — Hollywood newcomer Xelia Mendes-Jones.Cut to April 2024. Fallout hits Prime Video and becomes an instant sensation. The majority of the season puts the spotlight on Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, and Aaron Moten, all of whom give powerhouse performances. With only eight episodes, a bunch of curious locations, a number of key factions to establish, and quite a few complex agendas unfolding, how does an actor with minimal screen time in just two episodes manage to make an impression? While near the Black Tower, things are not much better for the Aes Sedai.Rand returns to Cairhien where he has to reckon with Min's annoyance at being shelved while Rand chases danger, and then the Maidens for leaving them behind too. The Wheel of Time Season 2 world expands as we learn more about the mysterious Seanchan in Episode 5, "Damane." From sinister collars, golden pacifiers, to  some seriously intense manicures, the devil is in the details as we unpack the motives and culture s of the outsiders who have ensnared Ingtar, Loial, and Egwene.Beyond Falme, Liandrin takes a trip to Trader Joe's for some asparagus, as a suspicious Verin tries to ferret out schemes in the White Tower.  Perrin makes some friends, Mo dupes Lanfear, Rand gets tied up (again.)
