The opening of Revelation 4, where John is commanded "Come up hither" and sees twenty-four elders (believed to represent the Church) in heaven, is often cited by pre-tribulation proponents as evidence that the Church is removed before the Tribulation begins. This position is classically supported by the idea that believers are "not appointed to wrath" (referring to God's judgment during the Tribulation). However, the teaching notes that the lack of explicit mention of the Church on earth from Revelation 4 through 19 causes debate, leading to differing views on whether the rapture is pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation. The confusion is attributed to a lack of consensus on the precise definitions of key terms like "day of wrath" and "day of the Lord," and the misapplication of individual scriptural verses without considering the Bible's overall theme on the subject.The transcription specifically examines the arguments for a post-tribulation rapture, a view that suggests the rapture and the Second Coming of Christ are a single event occurring at the end of the seven years. Post-tribulationists argue that the rapture described in Matthew 24:29-31 occurs immediately after the tribulation of those days, when the angels gather the elect. They also point to 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, which states the change will happen "at the last trumpet," arguing this is the seventh trumpet judgment in Revelation 11:15, which marks the transition to the kingdom of Christ and the judgment of rewards (the Bema Seat). The speaker suggests that the most reasonable way to reconcile all these seemingly contradictory scriptures is to consider the possibility of two raptures: one for the Church before the Tribulation, and a second for the Tribulation Saints at the end of the period, concluding that neither single-rapture school holds the complete truth.

Did you know that the crossing of the Hebrews at the Red Sea with Moses, which happened historically, is also a type of what will be fulfilled prophetically by the Jews and the Two Witnesses in the time of Jacob's trouble? It's true. All those events recorded back in Exodus point to a future time when God will once again keep His chosen people safe from the onslaught of Antichrist. Exciting stuff! On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking primarily at the Song of Moses first seen in the Old Testament at the Red Sea, and also seen in Revelation 15 when the Tribulation Saints get the victory over Antichrist during the time of Jacob's trouble. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we see how music, properly done, is a wonderful act of worship to God to thank Him and praise Him for His provision. The Jewish remnant is a key component of the end times, and as such, they have their own special song that they will sing before the LORD. Now here's where things get really interesting. Contained within the lyrics of this song in Isaiah 26, we see nugget after nugget of prophetical goodness that help us to unravel the events that will unfold for the Jews and all Israel in Selah Petra. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, come with us on a journey to the near future as we witnesses an event that will assuredly take place, and indeed, has already taken place! All through the Old Testament, we see the Jews singing praises to the LORD in times of amazing deliverance and in battle, like the song of Moses after they made it through the Red Sea. This continues all the way through to the book of Revelation where the body of Christ sings in chapter 5, the 144,000 sing in chapter 14, and the Tribulation Saints sing in chapter 15. In Isaiah 26, we see another song, this one will be sung by the Jewish remnant who were kept safe at Selah Petra.
