Grief is universal. But not all grief is the same.In this message from 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14, guest speaker Cornel Rasor opens with a pastoral truth that Paul made plain to the Thessalonians: Christians do not grieve as those who have no hope. The distinction isn't about grieving less—it's about grieving differently. The sorrow is real. The tears are real. But the hopelessness isn't.Rasor walks through what the Thessalonians were actually worried about: would their believing loved ones who had already died miss the glory of Christ's return? Paul's answer, grounded in the resurrection of Jesus, is a resounding no. Because Christ died and rose again, God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. The dead in Christ are not behind—they will be coming with Him.Drawing on ancient pagan epitaphs, Ecclesiastes, commentary from Leon Morris, and John 14, Rasor paints a vivid contrast between the despair of a world without resurrection hope and the settled confidence of those who know where their beloved ones are right now—and where they are going. This episode also addresses the harder question: what about loved ones whose salvation is uncertain? Rasor speaks to that grief with care and points believers back to the sovereignty, mercy, and goodness of God.For anyone carrying the weight of loss, this is a message built to hold that weight. ★ Support this podcast ★

Prophecy In The Spotlight with Daniel Goodwin The Rapture Timeline: A Scriptural Framework for the End Times A comprehensive scriptural roadmap from the Church Age to the New Jerusalem. In this theological discussion, Brother Goodwin and "Doc" outline the chronological sequence of biblical prophecy, focusing on the timing of the Rapture and the Tribulation. They present a "Pre-Tribulation" perspective, utilizing biblical types, the agricultural harvest model, and the structural layout of the Book of Revelation to argue for a secret "catching away" of the Church prior to God's wrath. The "Shadow" of the Two-Stage Coming Brother Goodwin introduces the "Shadow of His Coming," a concept suggesting that Christ's first coming serves as a blueprint for His second. Just as the first coming involved a secret stage (the birth in Bethlehem known to few) and a public stage (Palm Sunday and the presentation of the Messiah), the second coming is divided into the secret Rapture and the public Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon. This pattern suggests that the Rapture must be a distinct, "thief in the night" event for believers, separate from the visible return where "every eye shall see Him." The Resurrection Harvest Model The speakers explain that resurrection follows the three-phase agricultural harvest of ancient Israel. First Fruits represents Christ's own resurrection; the Main Harvest represents the Rapture of the Church; and the Gleanings represent those saved and martyred during the Tribulation who are resurrected at the end of the period. This model accounts for the "two men in the field" mentioned in Matthew 24, which the speakers place in the context of the Tribulation gleanings rather than the Church-age Rapture. Theological Foundations: Security and Wrath A central argument for the Pre-Tribulation view is that the Church is not appointed to the "wrath of God," which they define as encompassing the entire Tribulation period starting from the first seal in Revelation 6. Furthermore, they assert that all born-again Christians—including "backsliders"—will be taken in the Rapture. This is based on the doctrine of "imputed righteousness," where salvation is a gift of eternal life that cannot be lost, rather than a reward for personal holiness or "looking for" the event. The Mid-Tribulation Transition The speakers identify the middle of the seven-year period as a critical turning point. At this juncture, the Two Witnesses (Moses and Elijah) ascend, the 144,000 Jewish witnesses are saved as "first fruits" of the Tribulation, and the Antichrist breaks his covenant to enforce the Mark of the Beast. They argue that those who confuse the Rapture with mid-tribulation events are mistakenly applying Jewish-specific prophecies to the Church. The discussion concludes that a Pre-Tribulation Rapture is the only interpretation that maintains biblical consistency without contradiction. By distinguishing between God's plan for the Church and His plan for Israel during the Tribulation, the speakers argue that believers can have total assurance of their removal before the "great and terrible day of the Lord."
Popularized in the 19th century, the pre-tribulational rapture is the idea that millions of Christians will suddenly vanish before a future seven-year tribulation. This is one of the most widely held beliefs in modern Christianity—but is this teaching actually grounded in Scripture? Hank Hanegraaff examines the case on this episode of Hank Unplugged. Drawing from key biblical passages—including John 5, Matthew 24, 1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Corinthians 15, and Revelation 21—Hank argues that the Bible presents a very different picture: One unified resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteousOne visible, final return of ChristOne redeemed creation, liberated together with the people of God Hank also explores: The historical roots of rapture theologyThe meaning of the “abomination of desolation” and first-century tribulationWhether Scripture supports a future seven-year tribulation or rebuilt templeMisconceptions surrounding “replacement theology”The true nature of the Church as one covenant people in Christ Rather than a secret rapture or a divided plan for Israel and the Church, Hanegraaff presents the biblical hope of resurrection, restoration, and the renewal of all things. Wednesday Evening- Pastor Larson- 1 Thes 4:13-18
There is a growing insistence in modern Christianity that the rapture of the Church can happen at any moment, with nothing needing to take place beforehand. It sounds comforting, it preaches well, and it has been repeated so often that many now accept it as unquestionable truth. The only problem? The apostle Paul flatly told you the exact opposite.“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJB) On this episode of Rightly Dividing, the Bible shows you the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God, and these two kingdoms while ruled by the same King, could not be more different. One is for the Jews and Israel, and the other is for born again Christians and the Church. So it is that the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord, while having some overlapping similarities, could not be more different. The Day of Christ is to be waited for, looked for, hoped for, and Paul tells us that the mere discussing of it brings comfort to the believer. The Day of the Lord, on the other hand, we are warned about not looking for it, not desiring it, and to escape and avoid this dreadful situation at all costs. In fact, Amos goes so far as to pronoun a condition of woe to fall upon any soul foolish enough to venture into its waters. The word ‘woe' is a solemn declaration of impending divine judgment, severe sorrow, or misery. If you find yourself there, run! The differences between the Day of Christ and the Day of the Lord are as far removed as the East is from the West. On tonight's Bible Study, we run all the references on the Day of Christ and show you the connection to the Pretribulation Rapture of the body of Christ, the Church, at the Day of Christ.

The episode aims to educate listeners on the significance of understanding the rapture and its impact on contemporary Christian belief.
The Bible contains many assurances that the rapture will happen just before the rapture but I firmly believe we will see (as we are) situations that will indicate the tribulation may be beginning.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Taught at Agape Bible Church in Willits, California on March 1, 2026. [51 minutes]

The opening of Revelation 4, where John is commanded "Come up hither" and sees twenty-four elders (believed to represent the Church) in heaven, is often cited by pre-tribulation proponents as evidence that the Church is removed before the Tribulation begins. This position is classically supported by the idea that believers are "not appointed to wrath" (referring to God's judgment during the Tribulation). However, the teaching notes that the lack of explicit mention of the Church on earth from Revelation 4 through 19 causes debate, leading to differing views on whether the rapture is pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, or post-tribulation. The confusion is attributed to a lack of consensus on the precise definitions of key terms like "day of wrath" and "day of the Lord," and the misapplication of individual scriptural verses without considering the Bible's overall theme on the subject. The transcription specifically examines the arguments for a post-tribulation rapture, a view that suggests the rapture and the Second Coming of Christ are a single event occurring at the end of the seven years. Post-tribulationists argue that the rapture described in Matthew 24:29-31 occurs immediately after the tribulation of those days, when the angels gather the elect. They also point to 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, which states the change will happen "at the last trumpet," arguing this is the seventh trumpet judgment in Revelation 11:15, which marks the transition to the kingdom of Christ and the judgment of rewards (the Bema Seat). The speaker suggests that the most reasonable way to reconcile all these seemingly contradictory scriptures is to consider the possibility of two raptures: one for the Church before the Tribulation, and a second for the Tribulation Saints at the end of the period, concluding that neither single-rapture school holds the complete truth.

Unveiling the End Times: Challenging the Pre-Tribulation Rapture BeliefIn this episode of Discovering Truth with Dan Duval, Dan discusses the current buzz around end times and the pre-tribulation rapture, citing Charlie Kirk's assassination as a trigger event. Dan passionately argues against the pre-tribulation rapture theory, sharing his decade-long stance and revelations from God since 2008. He delves into eschatology, emphasizing the Kingdom of Darkness' unpublished technologies like time travel and cloning. Dan warns of a future grand deception involving a fake second coming of Christ to usher in the Antichrist. He explains the sixth seal from Revelation 6 and cautions listeners against the deception of a counterfeit event representing Christ's return. The episode concludes with Dan encouraging wisdom and vigilance in these tumultuous times.

Many believers were taught to expect a secret “rapture” before tribulation—but is that what Scripture teaches? In A Biblical Test of the Pre-Trib Rapture Doctrine, we test this popular view using only the Word of God. Through passages like Matthew 24, 1 Thessalonians 4–5, 2 Thessalonians 2, and Revelation 20, we discover that the resurrection and gathering of the saints occur after the tribulation and before the wrath of YHWH. This teaching reveals a unified biblical timeline—one return, one first resurrection, one gathering—and calls us to endurance rather than escape.Takeaway: Our hope is not removal from trial but resurrection with Messiah Yeshua and faithfulness until His appearing.
"The Little Season" refers to a brief period mentioned in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 20:3, 7-8) after Satan is released from his imprisonment for 1,000 years. During this time, he will deceive the nations for a final time before being defeated and cast into the lake of fire. Interpretations vary, with some believing this season is a future event, while others, known as preterists, suggest it has already occurred, possibly tied to the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. A fringe interpretation, sometimes linked to conspiracy theories, suggests that our current history is a deception orchestrated by Satan during this "Little Season," with ancient architecture being evidence of a past, hidden reign of Christ. Walk with Joel as he navigates Part 3 by looking at the real history of the theology of Pretribulation and the Rapture. He explores the controversial, C.I. Scofield, and his Scofield Study Bible by looking at a book called, “The Incredible Scofield and His Book” by Joseph M. Canfield and if the facts that are presented are true and if C.I. Scofield created his study Bible by orders of the Rothschilds. He then goes through the life of John Nelson Darby of the Plymouth Brethren and if his ideas of Dispensationalism and the Rapture were given to him by a “visionary” named Margaret MacDonald. He decides its time to take people to the past church fathers and see if the Rapture, Pretribulation and the “Ages” were only a thing of the early 1800s or of indeed the early theologians were discussing these ideas back in early Christianity. Lastly, Joel goes through the “Valley of the Dry Bones' and if the Bible is actually talking about Israel and its return to the homeland in 1948. No Escape, Faith and Refinement in the Season of AntichristIn this episode Dan addresses the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk and the shock and sadness it has caused. He explores the controversy surrounding the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine, firmly dispelling its veracity and urging listeners to not make any plans on disappearing anytime soon. Dan connects current global events from political unrest to hidden supernatural agendas with biblical prophecy and end-time narratives. He highlights the ongoing efforts of occult powers to advance an Antichrist agenda, offering a sobering reminder of the times we live in. scriptural teaching, Dan encourages listeners to remain steadfast in faith and grounded in God's Word. He concludes by clarifying misconceptions about the rapture, pointing to the significance of the seventh trumpet as revealed in Scripture.
What if I told you that millions of Christians are about to be blindsided by prophecy? They're going to wake up one morning and realize they are living in the middle of Daniel's 70th week — and they won't even know it. The very events they were told would happen “later” will be unfolding right in front of them. And the tragedy is this: they'll be unprepared, unarmed, and unaware, because they were taught to expect an escape that Jesus Himself never promised.Today we're going to deal with one of the most dangerous doctrines in the Church: the Pre-Tribulation rapture. It's a doctrine that boasts about taking the Bible literally, but when it comes to the words of Jesus in John chapter 6, it turns His plain teaching into allegory. Four times Jesus said the resurrection of His people is on the last day. Four times! When something is mentioned once, it's important. But when the Son of God says it four times, to the New Testament Church, it cannot be ignored.

This is the first of a two-part study on one of the most anticipated events in Bible prophecy—the Rapture of the Church. In Part 1, we'll survey the different views on the rapture and show why Scripture itself teaches that believers will one day be “caught up” to meet the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). We'll also consider how this hope has encouraged the church throughout history and why it remains vital for us today. This first session will lay the groundwork for next week, when we'll turn our focus specifically to the Pre-Tribulation view and the hope it offers to believers. Join us as we open the Scriptures and consider why the concept of the rapture offers such a blessed hope for believers. End time watchers are buzzing right now with the possibility of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church happening this September, but what does the Bible say about that?I know what you're thinking, and I agree, trying to set a date for the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church is about as productive as trying to nail Jell-O to a tree, it really can't be done. All attempts in the past have met with resounding failure, just think of Harold Camping and you'll know what I mean. This most recent date setter is a man by the name of Shervin Youssefian, and he seems like a pretty solid Christian. One thing's for sure, he has a lot of people talking about the Rapture right now, and that's a good thing. Maybe.“And Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and they seemed unto him but a few days, for the love he had to her.” Genesis 29:20 (KJB)On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, Shervin Youssefian is someone I have never heard of before doing the research for today's Podcast on the Rapture of the Church. He presents as a sincere and solid Christian who loves the Lord, though admittedly I know little of his method of Bible teaching. But in the clip I watched on his reasons for a September 23rd and 24th date for the Rapture, I was just a little impressed as he rightly divided the scripture and for the most part was dispensationally accurate. Points for that, it's something you do not see everyday online. A big part of his reasoning is related to the curious activity at the United Nations in September from the 9th to the 23rd, highlighted by Emmanuel Macron and the EU pushing for a recognition of a Palestinian state. On this episode, we break down each and every one of his reasons for a September 2025 Rapture, and compare them to what your King James Bible has to say. Come with an open mind, this one just may have a little something to it. Maybe.

Welcome to Grace in Focus radio. Bob Wilkin and Ken Yates are answering a question about the timing of the Rapture. Do the books of First and Second Thessalonians teach a pre-tribulation Rapture or a mid-point Rapture? Why does 2 Thessalonians 2:3 seem to differ from the other references? How about the rest of the
