Chris Tofu MBE - Tofu Love Frogs & Vibe Engineer - in conversation with David Eastaugh stablished in 1995 DJ Chris Tofu has become a pioneer of Vintage Remix and the UK Festival scene, sharing his obsession with all things remixed and raucous with jumping crowds across the globe! From Glastonbury to Istanbul this musical maverick is constantly exploring, discovering and creating new sounds and new experiences, mixing up the formula for good vibe pie! He's a true believer that DJ'ing is as much about “vibe” and communicating with an audience as endless technical skill. I just love music that remixes the ancient and the new. Sometimes that makes me really obscure, sometimes pioneering but whatever happens, the audience generally gets it.” Tofu has two lives; as a world renowned DJ and as the programmer and director of thousands of events and artists in some of the most legendary clubs and festival stages and even whole festivals, providing him with the canvas to try all these crazy new remixed discoveries. Enticing the crowds to jump over barriers (both physical and metaphorical) and get down to new and unusual sounds is the main Tofu goal.

In this episode, Anne Marie chats with UK electro swing performer Madam Misfit. Her musical style combines elements of electro swing (also known as vintage remix), and chap hop. The inspiration behind her music comes from childhood influences of television and too much panda pop, with lyrics tumbling out of her imagination onto paper entertaining audiences with her delightful and witty humour.Madam Misfit shares her love of WWII music history, a history which hails back to her almost two decades career as a musician in the Royal Air Force.Madam MisfitWebsite: https://www.madammisfit.co.ukSocial Media:www.youtube.com/MadamMisfitwww.madammisfit.co.ukwww.facebook.com/madammisfitwww.instagram.com/madammisfitSwing Sisters Album, Kickstart: https://bit.ly/3oplohhSpoken Word, [VLOG] COVID Rantings: https://youtu.be/0Op761rIH4MProfessor Elemental: https://www.professorelemental.comThomas Benjamin Wild Esq.: https://tombwild.comTo Support Armchair Historians:Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/armchairhistoriansKo-fi: https://ko-fi.com/belgiumrabbitproductionsImage by Sophie Lavender Photography & Design: https://www.facebook.com/sophielavenderphotos/https://www.instagram.com/sophielavenderphotos/Potato Lady Podcast Reviews: https://www.potatoladypodcastreviews.comNot Again! Hartmut Kiss - The Podcast "Ladies & Gentleman ...", spoken of by the way Sir Rix Rax , which to reiterate my thanks , was now 42 times already heard. These are two and a half years, more than 50 hours of music , nearly 500 tracks. Meanwhile, more than 1,200 of you hear, download the podcast , or have subscribed to the show via iTunes. Today , therefore, a few words more. Podcasts there are very many and in all musical genres. Free legal and how do I find a very good way , away from the club events to come for listeners to new and often exclusive music. DJ's complement or enhance your profile and you will gain some insight into your own favorite songs and preferences. My inspiration for this is quickly told . After " Water Games Eelke Kleijn 's Vintage Remix " was finished, I got 2 months before the release message from a friend. Its link led me to the Podcast by Hernan Cattaneo . Eelke Kleijn 's remix went there on air and I was slightly panic, this was the piece now widely distributed on the Internet. Today I know that it was the main door to the success of this and also of the following EP " Flaming Passion" pushed . His podcast was and is the most important in Progressive - House area and has an incredible amount of content, and as in many sizes and stars among DJs. The support , the play 's the Top 10 rankings and finally the week-long stay in the Beatport Top 100 had exactly your roots. Often long before the official release date is thus promoted Künster and their music. In my podcast I tell a slightly different story . First undecided what kind of music I should take, it is ultimately become what for many years with me secretly and inspired. Melody , often rock, pop or indie , actually not a typical club music . The music , the use of the club and the evening was hobbyhorse and trademarks from the beginning.
