Well it's been a long time since we've had to do a "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?" episode, but this one has been brewing for a few weeks behind the scenes. It started with the announcement that Mando was not coming back for a 4th season and instead was being made into a movie. Then out of nowhere Disney dropped the announcement that we were going to get Moana 2 as a movie, in November of this year. Having to watch the Chiefs win another championship, along with the combo of a Disney+ commercial near the end of the game pushed me over the edge though, and driving home I knew the fire was finally ready to come out, so I had to turn the mic on and change up the episode plans for this week, and let you guys know what was going on with my opinions on this one.The DMSW Podcast is proud to be a podcast partner with the ConciEARS Travel Agency! Well this episode is officially 1 week late, but I'm hoping the 5 minute opener on this one more than makes up for the wait to you, and I hope it makes you laugh (a few times) today. I made it a good way through recording this episode last week, and it was most definitely going to be a "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?" type of episode. I thought about it, and decided to send that section of the episode to the trash bin, and redo it for today's episode release and try to focus the content more on the actual news updates while just sprinkling in some opinions along the way. Good old Bob Chapek has done it once again! He has me all fired up with the announcement of price increases starting immediately on Genie+.  On this episode I am bringing you another chapter in, You Know What Really Grinds My Gears? I said way back on Chapter 1 of You Know What Really Grinds My Gears? that once they started limiting the amount of people that could use Genie+, it was Disney (without saying it) admitting that the system was a failure, it was broken, and they needed to find a way to start decreasing the amount of people that were actually using i, and then a price increase would be next. They needed to decrease the amount of people using it, so it could run more efficiently, but they love the bottom line of what it brings in for pure profit, so here we are with simple math. Season 2 • Episode 4: In this episode of Nerdology Podcast and before taking a three week midseason break, the guys review Superman and Lois S1 E6 (1:23) and Jack shares some not-so-good news of why the series took a five week break between S1 E5 and 6. Next, they review The Bad Batch E3 and 4 (27:40). They feel, just like Superman and Lois, that the series has been consistently captivating and entertaining and they expect nothing less. BroCo also attempts accents during the review, which were a bit jarring and somewhat offensive. Lastly, BroCo brings back his "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears!?" segment. (51:23) He goes completely OFF during this segment between ranting about gym pet peeves and typical SoCal traffic he deals with daily, as well as incompetent people he comes to meet.
