More grumbling about water - and the Lord's presence and provision. And an attack from Amalek - and the Lord's presence to defeat - and promise to one day destroy - their enemy.

Is it worth it? Deliberate sinful indulgence and sabotage? (26-31) NO. Designed trial and suffering? (32-34) YES. Therefore, do not throw away your confidence – ENDURE in FAITH!! (35-39)

In Exodus 13, God instructs his people to remember his strong deliverance with the annual Feast of Unleavened Bread, directing their worship. The chapter closes with God's manifest and visual presence with his people.
