Kaiyalai Hearthstone has taken a less active presence in my life as the Everything Keeps Happening So Much factor has been on the rise the past year, and peaked in December, so my goal is humble: get every monthly card back, and a little more ambitiously, enough gold to cover every mini set. ElectricSheepCity My goal is to be more involved in the Hearthstone community... after grad school (I should finish up in June). I love the HS communities I'm in (this server among them, of course), and when I have more time I'd love to be more active again  JustAGuy My goal is to increase my contributions to the Hearthstone development team by at least 50%. Wickedkitten13 I'd like to get back to doing regular hearthstone content creation again. Hearthcasual ending has left a Hearthstone shaped hole in my heart. HS Esports news: Plans for the 2025 esports season are being finalized, we are excited to share more soon! Introduces the Starship keyword, allowing players to build and upgrade Starships using minions. Six classes will feature dedicated Starship cards. Spellburst keyword returns, triggering effects when a spell is cast. Pre-release Tavern Brawl from October 29 to November 5. Pre-purchase bundles offer exclusive packs, legendaries, and hero skins. Patch 30.6 introduces The Great Dark Beyond expansion on November 5, 2024. Players can log in now to receive the Nexus-Prince Shaffar Legendary card for free. Prince Renathal returns to Standard and Wild until November 5. A special in-game event, Darkmoon Faire's Frightful Fantasy, runs from October 17 to November 5. Battlegrounds receives updates with new and removed minions, and changes to mechanics. Various bug fixes and game improvements across different modes. 11 minions have been removed from the Minion Pool; 6 minions have been added to the Minion Pool; 1 minion has been added to the Duos-only Minion Pool; 13 minions have been returned to the Minion Pool; and 1 Tavern spell has been returned to the Spell Pool. Trinkets that trigger at the Start of Combat now trigger earlier (at the same time as Quest Rewards, which is earlier than any other Start of Combat triggers). Different life totals Decks don't follow normal deck building rules June season started with 19 heroes, which are unlocked by owning that hero as it's legendary card in the collection. 4 of the heroes unlocked by core cards, so those should be automatically unlocked 2 of the heroes were free login rewards (Kael'Thas Sunstrider and C'Thun) - you can get these by having an Ashes of Outland and Whispers of the Old Gods packs and opening those packs in the pack opening screen if you didn't earn them via logging in in the past Weekly Hero Health adjustments planned to keep things balanced, and other things like hero powers, decklists, passives will be adjusted in the normally scheduled balance patches as needed. Main Topic Standard balance changes Velarok the Deceiver (2nd half of the card) from a 3/6 to a 3/3 Shattershambler now just kills the next Deathrattle immediately when its played and doesn't discount the next Deathrattle minion by 1 Cactus Construct now summons a 1/1 version of the chosen minion instead of a 1/2  Herald of Nature now only buffs +1/+1 instead of +1/+2 Pendant of Earth now restores Health to your hero equal to the cost of the discovered minion instead of gaining armor equal to the cost. Shattered Reflections no longer adds a copy of the chosen minion to your hand, it just adds it to the battlefield and deck Dew Process from 2 mana up to 4 mana Boogie Down from 3 mana up to 4 mana and the finale now summons another 1-cost minion instead of giving the summoned minions taunt. The Garden's Grace now gives Divine shield and +4/+4 instead of +5/+5 Thaddius, Monstrosity now has your odd-cost or even-cost cards costing 2 less instead of 4 less. Katrina and dragonrider are joined by Magesa from Coin Concede to chat about the Standard Hearthstone changes and how playing and looking at cards as a newer content creator has differed from before she got into content creation.   NEWS:  Patch 28.0.3 released today with changes to Standard and Battlegrounds. https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/en-us/news/24033781/28-0-3-patch-notes Changes for standard include:Sharpshooter from 5 health down to 3 Order in the Court still orders deck from highest to lowest but no longer draws a card. Always a Bigger Jormungar from 1 mana up to 2 Defense Attorney Nathanos from 5 attack down to 4, and will work more favorably with cards like Spurfang, Twisted Frostwing, and Bovine Skeleton, so it should be intuitive Azerite Snake (Legendary Excavate reward for Warlock) going from 6 mana and stealing 10 health from the enemy hero to 4 mana and stealing 7 from the enemy hero.
