C'est le pari du mentorat, un dispositif humain et solidaire qui relie des professionnels actifs à des personnes en recherche d'emploi.Le principe est simple : un mentor partage son expérience, ses conseils et son réseau avec un mentee (le mentoré). Ensemble, ils se rencontrent régulièrement, échangent sur les projets, préparent les entretiens, retravaillent les CV, partagent des contacts utiles et, surtout, redonnent confiance. Pour le mentee, c'est un soutien précieux, une écoute et une présence régulière. Pour le mentor, c'est une manière de se sentir utile tout en développant ses compétences humaines et relationnelles.En Belgique, le mentorat commence à s'implanter, notamment dans les grandes villes. Plusieurs associations s'y consacrent :Duo for a Job, coaching intergénérationnel qui s'adresse aux jeunes de moins de 30 ans issus de l'immigrationTeam4Job qui met en relation des mentors et des chercheurs d'emploi de tous horizonsMentorYou, axé sur la formation et la motivationEt plus récemment, Backstage Network, qui innove en impliquant directement les entreprises.Ce dernier programme collabore par exemple avec la STIB, dont une dizaine d'employés se portent volontaires pour devenir mentors. Chaque binôme se rencontre individuellement, mais participe aussi à des sessions collectives, où les expériences se croisent et où l'on apprend ensemble. Ces échanges favorisent l'intelligence collective et renforcent les liens entre monde de l'entreprise et chercheurs d'emploi.Autre avantage : tout est gratuit, aussi bien pour les mentors que pour les mentees. Des structures comme Backstage Network sont financées par Actiris et le Fonds social européen, garantissant l'accessibilité du dispositif.Être mentor, c'est du bénévolat, mais pas du temps perdu : c'est une aventure humaine. Une heure, deux fois par mois pendant six mois suffit à tisser une relation de confiance et à contribuer concrètement à la réinsertion professionnelle de quelqu'un. Et même si les rencontres peuvent se faire en visio, beaucoup soulignent que se voir “en vrai” change tout : un regard, un sourire, un échange, ça fait la différence.Le mentorat, c'est une solidarité de proximité qui se structure petit à petit. Qui sont les visionnaires ? La question est posée par l'Express, qui publie un numéro spécial sur ces  « visionnaires » d'hier et d'aujourd'hui. En photo en Une : Giuliano da Empoli, essayiste et auteur du Mage du Kremlin, ouvrage qui donnait à voir l'ascension de Vladimir Poutine, de l'intérieur. Pourquoi Giuliano da Empoli est-il un visionnaire ? Parce que, nous dit l'Express, il avance l'idée que « nous avons besoin d'une nouvelle génération de leaders, prêts à en découdre et à insuffler une énergie politique dans le projet européen ». « Nous vivons aujourd'hui, dit-il, comme ce fut le cas à d'autres moments de l'Histoire, dans une société qui donne la primauté à l'agresseur. »   « Conquistadors de la tech » Parmi les « prédateurs politiques », Giuliano da Empoli, cite Donald Trump ou encore Mohammed ben Salman. Pourquoi sont-ils à ses yeux si dangereux ? Parce que, assure-t-il, « ces dirigeants qui n'obéissent qu'à une seule loi, l'action, se sont alliés avec un nouveau type de prédateurs, plus nouveaux et plus contemporains : les seigneurs de la tech ». Or, remarque Giuliano da Empoli, « ces conquistadors de la tech », « ont intérêt, comme les prédateurs politiques, à combattre la démocratie libérale et ses contre-pouvoirs, tels les médias traditionnels et l'université… ». Et même si le cessez-le-feu à Gaza est fragile, Trump aura réussi à faire libérer tous les otages retenus depuis le 7 Octobre, en faisant pression sur Netanyahu et en menaçant de l'apocalypse les terroristes du Hamas ». « Sa méthode peut-elle s'appliquer en Ukraine ? », interroge encore le Parisien-Dimanche, qui avoue son scepticisme : « Le dossier est plus délicat », remarque le journal, « celui qui devait arrêter la guerre en vingt-quatre heures n'a finalement jamais clairement pris position entre Kiev et Moscou ». Nicolas Sarkozy incarcéré dans 48 heures La Tribune Dimanche a choisi pour sa Une, une photo de Nicolas Sarkozy. Un Nicolas Sarkozy, les bras croisés, presque souriant, qui affirme : « Je n'ai pas peur de la prison (…) je n'ai demandé aucun privilège ». L'ancien président pour lequel la Tribune Dimanche prend fait et cause, a été condamné le 25 septembre dernier à cinq ans de prison, dans l'affaire des soupçons de financement libyen de sa campagne électorale de 2007. Il doit être incarcéré mardi. Dans son éditorial, Bruno Jeudy, le directeur délégué de la rédaction, s'insurge contre cette incarcération décidée par le tribunal, avant que Nicolas Sarkozy ait pu faire appel. « Pourquoi cette précipitation, cette rigueur sans délai ? Dans un pays déjà fracturé politiquement, estime Bruno Jeudy, cette décision jette de l'huile sur le feu. La France n'avait pas besoin de ça ». En effet, rappellent ces familles, le principal condamné pour l'attentat du DC 10 d'UTA (jugé en son absence en 1999) « est Abdallah Senoussi, chef des services secrets libyens et beau-frère du dictateur Mouammar Khadafi ». Or, précisent encore les familles, Nicolas Sarkozy et ses collaborateurs Claude Guéant et Brice Hortefeux « ont œuvré clandestinement » « afin de répondre aux exigences » des deux hommes « au lieu de contribuer à nous rendre justice et à rendre justice à la France, véritable cible de l'attentat du 19 septembre 1989 ». Les familles des victimes se disent également « choquées et outrées des propos de Nicolas Sarkozy (qui clame toujours son innocence) et de ses soutiens à l'issue du jugement prononcé par le tribunal correctionnel de Paris ». « La position victimaire » de l'ancien président, disent-elles encore, « est inique, infondée et offensante pour les familles des victimes décédées dans l'attentat du DC-10 d'UTA ».

Depuis le 27 septembre 2025, le Maroc est le théâtre d'une contestation sociale inédite par son ampleur. À l'appel du collectif GenZ 212, des centaines de jeunes manifestent pour réclamer davantage d'investissements dans la santé, l'éducation, mais aussi des conditions de vie dignes. Alors que le royaume renvoie l'image d'une économie en bonne santé, qui se modernise rapidement, comment expliquer ces revendications ? Une croissance de 4,6% annoncée pour 2025, des investissements directs étrangers en nette hausse cette année, une inflation contenue depuis 2024... Au Maroc, les indicateurs mis en avant par les autorités sont au vert. Pourtant, il suffit de pousser la porte d'une maison d'un quartier populaire pour constater une réalité plus contrastée. « Quand quelqu'un trouve un travail payé 3 000 dirhams (283 euros), on est heureux pour lui, confie Fadil, étudiant sorti manifester plusieurs fois à l'appel de la GenZ 212. Ici, les gens travaillent juste pour ne pas rester à rien faire. » 40 euros la consultation médicale Au Maroc, près de 36 % des 15-24 ans sont au chômage. Ceux qui ont la chance d'avoir un emploi doivent faire face à un coût de la vie élevé, notamment en matière de frais de santé. « Si je veux me soigner, dans le public, je ne vais rien trouver, se plaint Fadil. Si je vais à la clinique, ils vont me demander 40 euros rien que pour une consultation. C'est 10% de mon salaire. » Le royaume renvoie l'image d'un pays émergent, en plein boom, couvert de chantiers. Mais pour Najib Akesbi, économiste, il y a un problème d'affectation des ressources : « Les besoins de la majorité de la population ne sont de toute évidence pas ceux qui sont pris en compte en priorité. Par contre, des dépenses ostentatoires de prestige, de vitrine sont privilégiées. C'est le grand décalage. » À lire aussiMaroc: multiplication des marches spontanées dans les villages isolés pour demander l'accès aux services de base Des investissements qui, trop souvent, ne sont « pas rentabilisés » Les grandes infrastructures sportives, les stades rénovés ou construits pour la CAN et la Coupe du monde de football pour une enveloppe de près de 2 milliards d'euros, en sont l'exemple le plus frappant, selon cet économiste. « Le grand problème au Maroc, c'est qu'on investit massivement, mais dans des investissements qui, trop souvent, ne sont pas rentabilisés, ne génèrent ni assez de croissance ni assez d'emplois », déplore-t-il. Le budget du ministère de la Santé a augmenté de plus de 30% entre 2022 et 2024. Les besoins de base ne sont, pour autant, pas encore satisfaits, explique Najib Akesbi : « Les moyens matériels des gens, les médicaments qui manquent dans les hôpitaux, les outils, les instruments de travail... Aucune réforme sérieuse crédible n'est réalisée. » Si la proportion de Marocains en situation de pauvreté a baissé en 10 ans, s'établissant à 7% en 2024, soit cinq points de moins, les zones rurales et cinq des douze régions du royaume réunissent près de 70% de la population pauvre. Nous sommes au milieu des années 1970. 1975 constitue un basculement majeur, une rupture brutale dans l'histoire économique et sociale de la Belgique. Elle marque la fin d'une période de croissance et de chômage relativement faible et inaugure une ère de "crise" caractérisée par un chômage de masse. Le basculement est la conséquence directe du choc pétrolier de 1973-1974. L'année est marquée par une récession économique, avec pour la première fois depuis 1958, un taux de croissance négatif du PIB. Le phénomène le plus marquant de cette période est cette envolée spectaculaire du chômage : alors que le taux moyen était d'un peu plus de 3% entre 1965 et 1974, il grimpe à près de 13% pour la période 1975-1984. Face à cette explosion sans précédent, les gouvernements mettent en place les premières grandes mesures qui visent à en atténuer les effets. Quel rôle les syndicats ont-ils joué au cours de cette période ? Mais aussi avant et après ? Quel a été leur discours face aux crises. Comment ont-ils mobilisé et organisé les "travailleurs sans emploi" ? En Belgique, environ 85% des chômeurs sont membres d'une des trois organisations syndicales reconnues, un pourcentage élevé, qui est une particularité en Europe. Comment expliquer cette particularité ? Quelle est l'évolution des relations complexes, et parfois paradoxales, entre syndicats et chômage ?
