Ashlea Aldrich, a 29-year-old mother from the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, was found deceased in a field on the reservation in January 2020, with her death officially ruled an accident caused by hypothermia and alcohol, though her family strongly disputes this and believes she was the victim of long-standing domestic violence that authorities failed to adequately address. Stacy Hill, a 17-year-old from the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Tribe in Minnesota, went missing in September 2009, and her remains were discovered weeks later on the Red Lake Reservation; her case also remains unsolved, with few publicly released details about what happened to her. Both women's deaths remain open and unresolved, and their stories highlight the broader crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women, as well as ongoing concerns about under-investigation, lack of accountability, and the struggle of Native families seeking justice. Tionda and Diamond Bradley are two young sisters who vanished from their Chicago home on July 6, 2001. Their mother, Tracey Bradley, reported them missing after finding a note allegedly written by Tionda saying they had gone to the store and playground. Trevor Deely was a young Irish man who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 2000. On December 8th of that year, he left his office in Dublin around 4:00 a.m. and was last seen on CCTV footage walking near Haddington Road. Despite extensive investigations, Trevor was never found. His case remains one of Ireland's most enduring missing person mysteries. In the years following his disappearance, numerous theories and tips emerged, but none have led to a definitive conclusion. Dorothy Jane Scott was a 32-year-old single mother from Anaheim, California, whose mysterious disappearance and murder in 1980 remain unsolved to this day. On May 28, she vanished after leaving a hospital where she had taken a coworker for treatment—her car was later found burning in an alley, but she was nowhere to be found. For years, Dorothy's family received chilling phone calls from an anonymous man who claimed to love her and admitted to killing her, revealing details only the killer could know. In 1984, her charred remains were discovered near Santa Ana Canyon Road, but the cause of death could not be determined. In 2007, Tiffany Rubin, a special education teacher from Queens, New York, was sharing joint custody of her 6-year-old son, Kobe Lee, with her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Lee. During a scheduled visit, Lee abducted Kobe and secretly took him to South Korea, his native country, without informing Tiffany. Tiffany flew to South Korea with the help of some amazing people with the American Association for Lost Children, after receiving a tip via her MySpace page from a local teacher who had seen Kobe. Brooke Leigh Henson was 20-years-old when she went missing on July 4, 1999, from Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Brooke was last seen at a party at her home on Henderson Drive but reportedly left around 2:00 a.m. to buy cigarettes after an argument with her boyfriend, Rickey Shaun Shirley. Elle Ragin is a six-year-old girl from Northfield, Minnesota, who went missing on June 19, 2022 under heartbreaking circumstances. Her disappearance is closely tied to the tragic death of her mother, Lisa Wade, who died by suicide just days later on July 2. Surveillance footage showed Lisa at various locations between June 23 and July 2, but Elle was never seen with her, which was considered highly concerning given their close relationship. Mason Roberson was 16 when he disappeared from his family's home in Oceanview, Anchorage. Around 6:00 AM, his parents confronted him about drinking. Angry, Mason ran away. Security cameras showed him walking down Venus Way, looking upset, then showed him bashing his phone on the ground. Mason has no phone, ID, or bank card, so tracking him has been nearly impossible. Mason's family continues to hold out hope, emphasizing that there is no blame—only love and open arms waiting for him. After that, he failed to show up for work, never picked up his paycheck, and his phone went straight to voicemail—alarming signs that prompted concern from his family, especially his mother, Michelle , who reported him missing and became a vocal advocate in the search. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement, no solid leads have surfaced, and those last with Jake have not been publicly identified. Theories range from foul play to accidental death, though no evidence definitively confirms any scenario. Though the search continues and hope remains, Jake's disappearance is still an open and deeply painful mystery for his loved ones and community. The Dale City triple homicide occurred on June 24, 1978, in Dale City, Virginia. Three women, Karen Scarbrough, Sharon Lake , and Deborah Frank, were found deceased inside a Ryland Homes sales trailer at approximately 6:45 p.m.. An autopsy revealed that all three women died from gunshot wounds to the back of the head. Their case remains unsolved and is a chilling mystery that has haunted the Dale City community for decades. Boyce Anthony Morris Jr. was last seen on February 13, 2022, leaving his home in Pickens County, South Carolina. He was reported missing after walking into the woods near his house while feeling unwell. Sarah and Jacob Hoggle disappeared in early September 2014 from Montgomery County, Maryland. They were last seen in the care of their mother, Catherine Hoggle, who gave conflicting accounts of their whereabouts before ultimately refusing to disclose where they were. She was later arrested. Catherine, who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial and has remained in a psychiatric facility ever since. The children's fate remains unknown to this day. Their father, Troy Turner, continues to seek justice and answers. Their case remains one of Maryland's most heartbreaking and high-profile missing children cases. Jacque Waller was a 39-year-old, mother of triplets, who tragically disappeared on June 1, 2011, in Jackson, Missouri. She had been in the process of divorcing her estranged husband, Clay Waller, when she vanished after meeting him to finalize paperwork. Her abandoned Honda Pilot was found along Interstate 55, but Jacque was missing. Investigators suspected Clay from the beginning, but it took months before they could charge him. In April 2012, he was officially charged with first-degree murder, and later, as part of a plea deal, he led authorities to Jacque's remains and admitted to killing her. Jacque's case has been featured in multiple true-crime documentaries, highlighting the dangers of domestic violence and the importance of seeking help.
