That night, Christi and her husband, Mark, took their two young children out for dinner and photos with Santa. Afterward, they brought the kids home then went to the bar where Christi worked. It was the last time anyone ever saw her. The next morning, Christi was gone, but her car and all of her belongings were still at home. Blood was later found inside the house and in Mark's car, yet he insisted she left on her own. More than three decades have passed, and Christi has never been found. But her family is still searching, waiting for the answers that will finally bring her home. *On the night of December 10, 1987, 22-year-old Christi Jo Nichols went out with her husband, Mark. By the next morning, she was gone. Her car and belongings were left behind, and blood was later found in their home and in Mark's car. Christi's body has never been found, and Mark Nichols remains the only suspect. In 1974, Wichita, Kansas was shaken by a series of brutal attacks inside family homes. Men, women, and children were bound, tortured, and killed by a predator who called himself BTK. For 17 years, he terrorized the community, claiming at least 10 victims and taunting police with disturbing letters that detailed his crimes. Then in 1991, the killings abruptly stopped, leaving law enforcement and the public to wonder if the killer had vanished forever. For more than a decade, there was silence. Then in 2004, BTK resurfaced with new messages, reigniting fear in Wichita. But that renewed need for attention would ultimately be his downfall, and by the following year, detectives had identified the killer as Dennis Rader, a father of two, a Scout leader, and a trusted member of his church council. Rader was the last person anyone suspected of being a sexual sadist serial killer, but once investigators began putting all the puzzle pieces together, it became clear that Rader's family-man persona was just a mask covering the monster beneath. At around 3:45 a.m. on October 4, 2011, Jeremy Irwin came home from a late-night electrical job to find the front door unlocked and the lights still on inside his Kansas City home. As he walked through the house, turning off lights and checking on his children, he made a chilling discovery - his nearly eleven-month-old daughter, Lisa, was gone. Lisa had been last seen the night before, at around 6:40 p.m., when her mother, Deborah Bradley, said she put her to bed in her crib. Within those nine hours, Lisa vanished without a trace. In the days that followed, detectives found burned baby clothes in a nearby dumpster, and multiple people reported seeing a man walking with a baby in the middle of the night near the Irwin home. But Lisa was never found. More than fourteen years later, her disappearance remains one of Kansas City's most haunting unsolved cases, leaving everyone asking: what happened to Baby Lisa ? Megan Trussell, an 18-year-old University of Colorado Boulder student, was reported missing on February 12, 2025 after last being seen leaving her dorm on February 9. On the morning of October 12, 2013, 23-year-old Army veteran Christian Griggs went to his in-laws' property in Angier, North Carolina to pick up his young daughter, Jaden. At 10:54 a.m., he called his father Tony to say that his father-in-law, Reverend Pat Chisenhall, was yelling at him while his estranged wife Katie hid inside the house. Six minutes later, at 11:00 a.m., Tony arrived at the Chisenhall home to find his son lying face-down, bleeding and unresponsive. Pat had shot him six times with a .22 rifle. On the night of August 30, 2015, 62 year old Denise Robert parked her car at Brookside Congregational Church in Manchester, New Hampshire, for her regular Sunday night walk through the North End neighborhood. Just fifteen minutes later, she was found lying just off the road half a mile away, dead from a single gunshot wound. Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a firecracker, then saw a red or rust-colored pickup truck speeding away from the scene. Ten years later, her case is still unsolved and the question remains: who killed Denise Robert? 62 year old Denise Robert was shot and killed on the night of August 30, 2015, while walking through the North End of Manchester, New Hampshire. Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like a firecracker before seeing a red or rust-colored pickup truck speed away from the area. Denise was found just off the road, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head. No shell casing or bullet was ever recovered, and the driver of the truck has never been identified. It was the last time anyone saw Alicia alive. Around two weeks later, her body was found wrapped in blankets in the basement of an abandoned house. She'd been shot multiple times. Alicia's husband, Erin Justice, was quickly identified as the killer. But when police went to arrest him, he didn't have the children and he claimed he had no idea what happened to them. It's been more than 11 years since Erin was arrested, and Kaylah and Kristian still haven't been found. But Alicia's family believes they're out there somewhere—and they won't stop searching until they're home. Alicia Fox was last seen on May 24, 2014 in Detroit. She was later found shot multiple times in the basement of an abandoned home. Alicia's children—six-year-old Kaylah Hunter and eight-month-old Kristian Justice—were last seen alive on May 26 by Erin's friend, Timothy Jones, at the family home on Ardmore Street. At the time, Erin had been seen driving a U-Haul and a 2004 burgundy Chevrolet Impala. Today, if they are still out there, Kaylah would be 17 years old and Kristian would be 11. When Kaylah went missing, she was six years old, 4 feet 5 inches tall, and 65 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Kristian was eight months old, between 22 and 26 inches tall, weighing between 17 and 20 pounds. He had black curly hair and brown eyes.
