The murder of 16-year-old Adrianne Reynolds is one of the most heartbreaking and notorious juvenile crime cases in Illinois history. Having just moved to East Moline for a fresh start, Adrianne was a vibrant teen who loved music, dreamed of joining the Marines, and desperately wanted to fit in at her new alternative school. Tragically, her naive trust drew her into a toxic social circle anchored by Sarah Kolb and Cory Gregory. Driven by intense, territorial teenage jealousy over mutual love interests, Kolb and Gregory lured Adrianne into a car and brutally beat and strangle her to death in the backseat. Days later when Gregory confessed, leading police to the evidence and sparking two decades of intense legal drama. Both Kolb and Gregory transitioned while incarcerated—now going by Shane Kolb and Harli Quinn, respectively—both received lengthy prison sentences. While Kolb continues to serve a 53-year term, Quinn's 45-year sentence was recently overturned for a new juvenile resentencing hearing. Through it all, Adrianne's devoted father, Tony Reynolds, has kept his daughter's memory alive, turning their unimaginable grief into a legacy of hope by establishing a memorial GED scholarship fund that has helped hundreds of at-risk youth earn their diplomas. Tanner Kolb is the Associate Director of Strength & Conditioning for Olympics Sports at West Virginia University. Kolb joined the Mountaineer athletic staff in 2012 and was promoted to his current position in 2017, where he handles the strength and conditioning responsibilities for the rifle, men's soccer and wrestling programs. Prior to WVU, Kolb was an assistant coach at East Carolina University for one year where he designed and implemented programs for baseball, volleyball and tennis, as well as assisting with football. Prior to his tenure at ECU, Kolb spent three years as the head strength coach and adjunct professor at Waynesburg University. There he designed and implemented programs for all varsity sports in addition to teaching four classes. Kolb spent three years as a fitness specialist at the Stillwater Medical Center and Total Health in Oklahoma teaching Olympic lifting techniques, instructing group exercise classes, supervising and judging the weightlifting portion of the Pioneer Senior Olympics. Kolb began his career in 2003 as a volunteer coach at Oklahoma State, where he assisted primarily with football, wrestling, softball and the equestrian programs. Additionally, he spent two stints as a prep strength and conditioning coach first at Perry High in Oklahoma during the summer of 2004 as well as both at Petoskey High and Charlevoix High in Michigan from 2006-2008. While there he contributed time at Northern Michigan Sports Medicine while lecturing and directing powerlifting and strongman competitions. Coach Kolb is a Master Strength & Conditioning Coach through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association earning the highest honor in the profession in 2021. I had the good fortune to go and interview the Grand Canyon Superintendent, Ed Keable, and at the time, I was also allowed to do a tour of the Kolb House. This is a very special place and the story is amazing. It really is a story made for a movie. In fact, I'm surprised it hasn't been mad into one yet because it tells the story of these brothers that came to Arizona in 1901 and 1902, and they set up this photography studio, right on the edge of the Grand Canyon on the South Rim. It's still there, and we were given access to the property and to get to see and view how they lived in their house from 1904 until Emory dies in 1976. Inside is the photography room, the areas where they would have parties, and some of the most amazing views you've ever seen of the Grand Canyon. Part of the house is open as a museum, but part of it isn't. And we're going to show you the part that isn't. That's what's special about this and why I wanted to make it into a podcast. This is one of those that I highly recommend watching on YouTube.It's a pretty compelling story, and I think it's one of those places that you may never get to visit in person. Hopefully this tour via my podcast/video will give you a sense of what it's like and what it would have been like at the turn of the century in Arizona.

The word is spreading through the education community that a new kind of artificial intelligence enables students to complete an entire course with a single prompt. As one educator explained, with just a simple setup, a student can put an entire course on autopilot and go back to playing video games. It's called Agentic AI, and it has sparked a new round of handwringing and calls to go back to blue books and pencils. The company controls 70,000 hectares in northwest Ontario hosting multiple high-grade gold discoveries across four distinct mineralization types, with fully funded drilling planned for 2026 under management explicitly targeting a Great Bear Resources-style exit.The investment thesis centers on systematic district-scale exploration designed to attract strategic buyers rather than pursue standalone mine development. Recent drilling fundamentally reshaped the geological understanding at the Gold Rock target area, revealing nine interconnected high-grade structures within a 300-meter span—including intercepts of 300 grams per ton over 3.9 meters and 55 grams per ton over 3.5 meters—connected by continuous one gram per ton mineralization. Her major-mine experience directly informs Dryden's exploration protocols including oriented core drilling, 100% core assaying, and property-wide geochemical surveys—practices that distinguish systematic explorers from promotion-focused juniors. Guest Bio: Heather Kolb is the Associate Director of Product Development and a neuroscience professional for Pure Desire. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Criminal Behavior, and is a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional (PSAP) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). Heather has been trained in the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model (MPTM) through The Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS). She worked several years as a college professor prior to joining Pure Desire.
