As if you don't already have a number of answers for that question...all of the marketing world is bending you over backward to sell you as much juju for whatever it is as possible. Mostly just Tom complaining about stupid commercials. Fun Right? ; ) All while unknowingly setting the world record for umms. This version has no swear words, that you can hear at least.

I was lucky enough to have a conversation with someone that left me thinking and Raye mentioned she would like to share her story with hope it could help others who might feel blind-sided by terrible news. So here is a repeat of our discussion and what to me is the moving story of one amazing person's trials and take aways from losing their husband to cancer. It won't be the same as anyone else's story but in some ways; it is everyones' story. This version has no swearing.

Frankl said if you are going to suffer, don't suffer for nothing. After suffering through the flu, I try to find something worthwhile in the experience. WARNING: Barfy talk.
Sadly, it's just Tom this time. Pastor Scott is very popular. Just a couple of things I didn't have time to discuss with him. Mostly about the division that seems to be growing between people of 'science" and people of "faith". I guess i don't see much difference in some ways. Plus, something I said that came out different than I intended, sorry. This one has the swear words bleeped out.

YAY!!!So excited to have a chat with the "good" Rev. Dr. Scott Wilson (Ret.) about the place of faith in the world today as it relates to wellness, politics, science, stupid people, technology, philosophy, everyday life, etc. Can't imagine how it ended up being the longest episode yet. Mystery of mysteries. Thanks, Sir.This version has objectionable words bleeped out.

Some different thoughts on how I have always described myself (didn't want to put how that actually is cause I gotta do a clean one too) and what a counselor should be for people. This one has no profanity...which is sometimes what a counselor should be for people.
A common topic in counseling for many folks is a more accurate and helpful idea of who you are and what that's worth...but how in the world do you know?!? I'm not sure we answer that, but here we go anyway. Side Note: Yes the "Gandhi" quote is attributed to Dr. Seuss, that's what happens when you have too many quotes on the noggin. I really should write this stuff down.
