The idea of Texas firing its agent, the federal government, for dereliction of duties (amongst many other things) and taking back her sovereignty seems to be a mind boggling pipe dream. I argue that it shouldn't be. I should be as simple as saying, "We want a divorce, we are leaving. Your move." I've talked about energy and monetary security as being the most important things a society needs in order to have liberty and prosperity. I start an exploration into two of the most important reasons to Leave. Texas' energy security is being destroyed by idiotic and evil climate regulations and policies coming down from Mordor, D.C. Are you noticing that the dollars in your bank account don't buy as much as they used to? This situation in Ukraine shows exactly why secession is needed now more than ever. This is a prime example of a country taking advantage of the weakness of a declining super power in the U.S. and if it escalates too far it could drag down Texas (same goes for others states) with it into the depths of hell. You'll hear a lot about how "extremist" groups are supposedly gunning for a "Civil War" with all their talk of secession and independence. They claim that secession leads to internal war and conflict as if it is some constant in the cosmic fabric of time and reality. If you haven't yet, just hold on, it will get dialed up for sure. Good for Abbott for FINALLY opening up Texas completely. What would be some of the things a group of people would need to succeed if they wanted to Leave The Swamp? My initial thinking for the societal basics are as follows: 1. Monetary system outside of the established infrastructure: Must be backed by Gold (perhaps an incorruptible and open cryptocurrency) and can't rely on the USD and its banking system; a currency that cannot be printed out of thin air by government; make government play by the same rules as the people. 2. Secession and Nullification are the most basic and important American political ideas and values. Maybe it's time these acts are revitalized and used to cure what ails society nowadays. The title says it all. The one good thing that might come out of all this is that people will realize the police have way too much power and need to be dialed back a little. Maybe folks will begin to realize that there are simply too many laws. All these laws give "law enforcement" entirely too much power over our lives. In a truly free society, police would function simply as a "peace force" and be peace officers, not law enforcement officers. It is just the beginning of a situation that is changing rapidly so I'll update more in the future. If there was any time to start the process of Saving Yourself, it is now. As of now I'm not too afraid of the virus but I am of people. I don't trust them in groups. They go mad too easily. Time to prepare at least a little bit. Save Yourself!
