Greater Things, Greater Discernment: Charles Yu | November 9th, 2025
In this powerful message, Pastors Clay and Whitney Jones share their personal miracle story — a journey through heartbreak, loss, and restoration that will strengthen your faith and remind you that nothing is impossible with God.
When you give through the church, you become part of every story it tells. And (bonus!) generosity changes you – for the better. This week, Josh reminds us that generosity isn't about guilt, but about joyfully investing in something eternal.
Greater Things, Greater Sufficiency: Matt Metzger | November 2nd, 2025
Journey Church Sunday Worship Gathering Audio - Bozeman, Montana
Bob Schwahn | Lead Pastor | November 2, 2025 Referenced Scripture: Romans 8:1, Romans 8:38-39, Romans 8:22-25, John 1:14, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Matthew 6:9-10, John 14:12, Romans 8:29, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, Acts 1:8, Matthew 13:31-33, John 14:4-5, John 18:36 Reflection Questions: 1. Read Romans 8:22-25 Paul describes that we along with the whole creation groan inwardly for the redemption of all things. How specifically have you experienced the groaning of this life? How have you experienced the longing for heaven and redemption of all things? How have you experienced times of the Kingdom of heaven breaking into your life? 2. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? In this current age we are the temples of the Holy Spirit and God's plan to bring heaven to earth. How do you see God using you to bring heaven to earth? What makes that challenging for you? What would you need to change in order to see God use you more? 3. John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. What did Jesus mean that we would do greater things than he had been doing? 4. Take some time to read briefly over the Sermon on the Mount. (Matthew 5-7) This is Jesus teaching on what the Kingdom of Heaven looks like. What are some things you observe as values of God's Kingdom? Where do you see places that God needs to change you to reflect these values? What is the role of the Holy Spirit in bringing about this change in the life of a follower of Jesus? 5. What is one tangible way you can bring the Kingdom of heaven to earth in every area of your life? (Friends, Family, Work, Church, School, Neighborhood, etc.) What's your next step? * Connect: We'd love to connect with you! We all want greater things — but God doesn't just want to give you greater blessings. He wants to help you become a greater person.
t's time for believers to rise up with courage and conviction. In this bold message, guest speaker Andrew Sedra challenges the church to live with unshakable faith and stand for biblical truth in a culture that often opposes it.
Before God promotes you, He prunes you. Before He multiplies you, He presses you. And before He pours you out, He matures you. In this powerful message, Pastor Keela Craft Ambrose shares how to embrace God's process of pruning, pressing, and waiting—so you can become everything He designed you to be.
Have you ever considered that the way God wants to use you may be greater than you've imagined? This week, we look at Jesus' pattern of multiplication to discover how personal devotion and obedience to Him naturally lead us to joyfully expand His kingdom.
Once we lay down our own agendas and idols, all that's left for us are the promises of God, and those are marvelous. Subscribe to daily devotions e-mails: https://wcm.link/ddsub

Greater Things, Greater Maturity: Chris Dolson | October 26, 2025
Putting God First and Doing Greater Things.
Jesus promised His disciples they would do greater things than Him when our lives are yielded to and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Modeling what that looks like is the most important legacy we can leave for the next generation.
This week, we're talking service. Serving is not a side activity for super-Christians; it's a core expression of discipleship. Jesus redefined greatness as service, not status.“Greatness in the Kingdom isn't about the power in your fist; it's about the towel in your hand.”
Greater Things, Greater View: Matt Metzger | October 19, 2025
We all want greater things — but God doesn't just want to give you greater blessings. He wants to help you become a greater person.
Jesus invites ordinary people into an extraordinary mission to embody his work in the world. Our new series challenges the church to dream bigger, serve sacrificially, and embrace the greater things God has in store for them and their city.Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He left us with that mission, and the world is full of stories waiting to be transformed by hope. Every invitation matters. Every conversation counts.

Send us a textWhat happens when you gather a diverse community to unpack a phrase we often say but rarely examine? In this unique experiment, Matt brings together members of the Greater Things community to explore what it means to "raise your kids in the ways of the Lord."The conversation unfolds like a beautiful tapestry as each person contributes their distinct understanding. Elaine, a beauty therapist from Scotland, speaks passionately about how God's ways are reflected in our unique creation, down to the cellular level. "Each person is completely uniquely created," she explains, connecting this revelation to how she approaches her clients with individualized care. For Claire, a mother of four girls, the ways of the Lord are tied to identity and experiencing God's love beyond just cognitive knowledge. She vulnerably shares her journey: "I think before I've had a head, cognitive 'yes I know God loves me' agreement, but there's been that massive gap between that knowledge and the experienced reality of it."The wisdom deepens as Merle and John, a married couple with decades of faith experience, offer their perspectives. Merle describes God's ways as "spacious and perfect," painting vivid images of open gates and wildflower meadows representing the freedom God provides. John, approaching his 70th birthday, draws from 1 Corinthians 13 to explain that God's ways are simply the ways He loves—patient, kind, and never insisting on His own way. What makes this episode remarkable is how the conversation itself demonstrates the kingdom of God in action—multiple voices contributing to a richer revelation than any single perspective could provide. When Claire honestly admits she currently feels on a narrow path rather than in a spacious place, it doesn't diminish Merle's insight but rather expands the group's collective understanding.Join this authentic community conversation and discover how different perspectives on God's ways might illuminate your own journey of faith and parenting. What might it mean for you to walk in or raise others in "the ways of the Lord"?Support the showwww.greaterthingsinternational.com

SummaryIn this sermon, Benjamin Lee explores themes of validation, the knowledge Jesus has of our hearts, and the comfort that comes from being seen by God. Benjamin encourages listeners to follow Jesus, overcome doubts, and find their worth in God's eyes, ultimately assuring them of their names being written in the Book of Life and the promise of greater things to come.TakeawaysEvery day is a moment to give praise to God.Discipleship begins with a personal encounter with Jesus.Recognizing Jesus as the Messiah is crucial for faith.Jesus knows our hearts and flaws, yet still desires a relationship with us.The desire for recognition can lead us down a dark path.God sees us individually and knows our names. We should find our worth in God's eyes, not in worldly validation.Jesus comforts us by knowing our struggles and seeing our potential.Following Jesus leads to greater things in life. Our names are written in the Book of Life when we follow Christ.Chapters00:00 The Importance of Praise and Gratitude03:04 Encountering Jesus: The Call to Discipleship06:13 Recognizing the Messiah: The Journey of Faith08:54 Understanding Jesus' Knowledge of Us12:06 The Desire for Recognition and Validation14:49 Jesus Knows Our Hearts and Flaws17:42 The Comfort of Being Seen by God20:28 The Call to Follow Jesus23:21 Overcoming Doubts and Questions26:09 Finding Worth in God's Eyes29:01 The Assurance of Our Names in the Book of Life31:37 The Promise of Greater Things to Come34:46 Responding to the Call of Jesushttps://www.icandopodcast.com

John 1:43-51 ESV 43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” 46 Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” 50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,' do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
