I'm joined by Chris Shanafelt in this weeks episode and we discuss the reaction to the Chicago Bears trading the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers for a haul + WR DJ Moore. We then talk about his reaction to * Potentially * getting Aaron Rodgers out of the division if he's traded to the New York Jets. I go on a mini rant talking about why Jets fans just need to R-E-L-A-X when it comes to Aaron Rodgers taking his time officially declaring he's coming to the Jets. Finally, we get Chris's initial reaction to the first wave of Free Agent signings by the Chicago Bears. We hope you enjoy!
Aaron Rodgers is..... almost a New York Jet. We talk about where things stand with Aaron Rodgers as of right now and other QB's on the move as Jimmy G signs with the Las Vegas Raiders. We close the pod out with my favorite QB move on day 1 and an update on the Lamar Jackson situation. Stay tuned to the next episode as we talk with a Chicago Bears fan and get his perspective on the Bears trading the number 1 overall pick in this years NFL Draft and how he feels about Aaron Rodgers leaving the division. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

The Jets shocked the world and beat the Buffalo Bills 20-17 in Week 9 of the 2022 season. This is my initial reaction to the game! ** Note: I misspoke and said Josh Allen had 5 interceptions and he only had 2.
I think it's time for Elijah Moore to go. Listen to his post game interview and tell me what you think.
I review the Jets 24-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers and why we should look to Russell Wilson's career early on as a plan to what the Jets might have in store for Zach Wilson's development.
Initial reaction to the New York Jets 12 to 27 loss to the Bengals. I got my frustrations with the coaching staff out like Quinnen Williams. But then I took a step back and realized, it wasn't all bad.
Zac returns to the podcast to give us the inside scoop on all things Cleveland Browns. I also start the podcast previewing the game; Giving my 3 keys to victory and story-lines to watch. Had to give you all an unscheduled podcast to give my thoughts on Zach Wilson being out for 2-4 weeks this preseason. While it's hard to say this is a silver lining, I talk about why I'm not as upset as I originally was even when I found out it would be a 2-4 week injury. The Jets need to see what they have in Zach Wilson. However, a veteran quarterback who knows how to operate the system helps the rest of this young team grow. I close the pod talking about the other guys I'm excited to see and who else will get a chance to continue to improve when they take on the Atlanta Falcons Monday night for their 2nd of 3 preseason games. Keep a lookout on the Patreon page for new articles coming soon! https://www.patreon.com/AverageTeeTime
We start off this episode recapping the Jets 24-21 Jets preseason win. Why didn't Carl Lawson and CJ Mosely play? Then we talk about how Zach Wilson looked and why there's still optimism after he suffered an injury during the 2nd drive of the game and how this hurts his development and who was the unsung hero of the first game (USD Coyotes stand up!). Then after the break we talk about the San Francisco 49ers. It's Trey Lance season and we need to find a home for Jimmy G. We talk about what's taking so long to get a trade to materialize. What are the details of Deebo Samuel's 3 year 70ish million dollar extension? How does Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle take the next step with Trey Lance under center? Speaking of Center, how does the offensive line fair after losing some key pieces this off-season? What do we see from Nick Bosa after he had a full off-season to get better? Then after another quick break, we talk about the Seattle Seahawks. Who looked better in their first preseason game? Geno Smith or Drew Lock? What's the identity of this team after they traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos? Are they going to let Geno cook? We then talk about their historic 2022 draft class and how this can shape up to be foundational if they want to turn this around. Finally, we're adding a new wrinkle to the podcast! Follow us on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/AverageTeeTime ! We'll be posting articles and hopefully soon, video breakdowns at least once a week! *Note - This episode was recorded before Deshaun Watson's suspension was announced and before the Arizona Cardinals removed the Kyler Murray Clause from his contract. We're back with our 2nd episode of the Division Preview Series with the AFC North. What are some of the story lines to watch for each team as we start Training Camp? Christian takes on the defending AFC Champions Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers. How does Joe Burrow build upon his successful season last year after being one play away from winning the Superbowl? How does this revamped off-season line hold up after allowing Joe Burrow to be the most sacked QB to ever reach the Superbowl? How do they replace TE CJ Uzomah? Does 2022 First Round pick Kenny Pickett have a shot of winning the starting job in training camp? Or will Free Agent Mitch Trubisky prove he's a different QB after his stint with the Buffalo Bills? I provide insight on the Baltimore Ravens as Lamar Jackson looks to become the highest paid QB this off-season. How does the team bounce back after having an amazing 2022 NFL draft class and they'll get back some key losses from last year like JK Dobbins and Marcus Peters? Then I talk about what are the expectations for the Cleveland Browns as they'll be without the 230 million dollar QB Deshaun Watson for the first 6 games of the season… for now. We also discuss how Amari Cooper and others can fill the void left behind with OBJ's departure and Jarvis Landry leaving for the Saints in FA. We close the pod with me previewing the Jets vs the AFC North, Christian giving us his early AFC North predictions, thoughts on Julio Jones signing with the Tampa Bay Bucs, and we talk about the Kyler Murray Clause. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

I provide insight on the Minnesota Vikings strengths and weaknesses. Justin Jefferson says that Davante Adams is WR1 right now. But he's got plans to overtake him this season. How does Dalvin Cook get used now that the Vikings are now a passing offense. Then I talk about what are the expectations for the Detroit Lions as they've been tabbed to appear on this year's preseason edition of Hard Knocks. Should they have taken a QB in the 2022 NFL draft? When will they see Jameson Williams back on the field? We close the pod with Christian giving us his early NFC North predictions. As always, thanks for your support! The New York Jets were in serious talks to acquire WR Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs. In the end he went to the Miami Dolphins. But this episode is to talk about how we as fans need to get over the "The Jets aren't 1 player away" from winning mentality so we shouldn't trade for this good player. The Jets haven't won a division game in 2 years. You need all of the good players that you can get.
