Garce and Marty start their Happy New Year episode by discussing their New Year's Resolution of swearing more on the show. They then dive head first into the upcoming NFL Playoffs, including their thoughts on the 49ers/Seahawks week 17 game, touching on the controversial no call before Garce tells us all why Pete Carroll sucks. Marty does his first edition of a new segment "Toy Time" and Garce gives a quick boxing update from some December fights before they both nerd out and give their reviews of "The Rise of Skywalker".

Garce and Marty ramble about the NFL playoffs and highly anticipated 49ers/Seahawks week 17 matchup before playing another round of "Column A or Column B?". They then nerd out on Star Wars by submitting their Star Wars films power rankings in advance of viewing The Rise of Skywalker. Finally, Marty gives his long-awaited critique of The Irishman. Beware of Spoilers.

Matt and Nick return from Thanksgiving break to run their yaps about the NFL, Baby Yoda, Anthony Joshua regaining the heavyweight championship, Luka Doncic, and the end of the college football regular season. 

Matt and Nick talk Disney Plus and "The Mandalorian", the upcoming heavyweight boxing title fight scene, and end of the year tennis. They then segue into football talk, including Tua's injury, the NCAA, Colin Kaepernick, Seahawks/Niners, and Myles Garrett.

Nick and Matt talk midseason NFL before forcing the World Series topic out of nothing more than obligation. They then talk about writing checks, whether or not they're millenials, early season NBA, "Joker", and Andy Ruiz's weight.

Matt and Nick express their numbness to the Washington State loss to UCLA, yet another link in the chain of horrific Cougar losses. Then, they regroup and discuss the ongoing and ever-fluid Antonio Brown saga before having the obligatory "Is Eli Manning a Hall of Famer?" conversation in the wake of his benching. They say their goodbyes to Felix Hernandez and then Matt wraps up the episode by telling Tim Tebow to kick rocks.

After relishing Washington's loss to Cal and sharing how each of them spent the end of their summers, Matt and Nick dive into their preview of the 2019 NFL Season. Topics include: Antonio Brown to the Patriots; The Patriots are gonna win the Super Bowl again, and; I hate the Patriots. We also make some predictions that will no doubt be laughable by the time we publish our next episode. Nick then caps off the episode with a quick recap of the U.S. Open.
