JILL CRAYBAS ON MORE HISTORY FOR NOVAK DJOKOVIC - ‘It's amazing when you start talking about all those numbers because you almost can't wrap your brain around what he's achieved. I just feel like every time he steps on the court he's breaking records and I just don't know how he finds something consistently deep in himself to do it over and over again, it's just incredible'.JILL CRAYBAS ON DANIIL MEDVEDEV - ‘He's had a great tournament. He said on the court that if Djokovic, Nadal and Federer weren't there he'd have more titles and Djokovic said that he'll get more and I agree with him, I think Medvedev will get at least a couple more, if not more than that'.JILL CRAYBAS ON BEN SHELTON - ‘He's so electric on the court, he's got a big game, huge serve, huge forehand, but to be able to tie it all together and have that consistency throughout the two weeks is a great sign for him'.JILL CRAYBAS ON CARLOS ALCARAZ'S MATURITY - ‘He's not afraid to show his vulnerability, which I think is huge because that for me is how he has been able to get over some of the losses that he has had and be able to back it up very quickly. Roland Garros was a great example admitting that the pressure and stress got to him, cramping against Djokovic and then what does he go and do, beat Djokovic in five sets at Wimbledon'.RAJEEV RAM ON BEING THE FIRST THREE-TIME SUCCESSIVE CHAMPIONS SINCE 1912 - ‘I was told in press that that was the last time that that happened. I just knew that it hadn't happened in the Open era, someone said that, but yes, 1912 is a long time ago'.JILL CRAYBAS ON COCO GAUFF WINNING THE WOMEN'S SINGLES TITLE - ‘It was amazing to watch, Coco did a great job of digging in, relying on her speed and really defending but hitting shots to make Sabalenka go for more and by the end of the match she was just playing with confidence. She's such a great role model, she just gets it and she thanked Billie Jean King on the court when she received the cheque she said that that was because of her and I thought that was a great moment'.- Podcast presented by Chris Bowers- Podcast guest Jill Craybas- Ram and Salisbury interview by Chris Bowers

Love the podcast!" Andy Lee asks: "As a spectator, I always try and sit opposite the umpire's chair. Why can't someone in 2023 come up with a solution that would give spectators a better view on the players bench side? E.g. a perspex chair or suspended chair umpire? Novak Djokovic defeats Carlos Alcaraz in another epic that lasted nearly four hours and which the Serb called "definitely one of the toughest matches I've ever played in my life, regardless what tournament, what category, what level, what player" Djokovic also compared this to his rivalry with Nadal. Is Alcaraz-Djokovic perhaps even better? Alcaraz laughed and joked with Djokovic afterwards, but how can he switch from friend to foe so effectively? Coco Gauff wins the women's title in Cincinnati, the biggest title of her career, not long after getting Brad Gilbert involved in her coaching team Meanwhile, beaten semi-finalst Iga Swiatek says she has no fuel in the tank and needs to rest before the US Open Juan Martin del Potro's potential comeback is over :( A venue for the WTA Finals still not confirmed - nor the Next Gen Finals either AND FINALLY Stefanos Tsitsipas asks for a woman to be removed from the crowd because she's imitating a bee when he's about to serve. Can Novak Djokovic win a record 24th Grand Slam title? This question is one of the central themes of the 2023 Wimbledon championship. If the Serb manages to do it, not only will be equal Margaret Court's record of 24 grand slams – the highest across both genders – he will also equal Roger Federer's men's record of eight Wimbledon titles. And with Nadal out of the picture for the rest of the year, he will be on track for a calendar Grand Slam and perhaps put to rest the GOAT debate once and for all. But how much of a favourite is Djokovic this year? What are the chances of the new world number 1 Carlos Alcaraz? And who are the favourites in the women's draw?

On this episode, Harry LaBollita returns to discuss Netflix's hit series Break Point. Helmed by the same team behind F1: Drive to Survive, Break Point chronicles the world's up-and-coming tennis stars as they prepare and compete on the international professional tennis circuit, including all four Grand Slams and ATP and WTP tournaments. In Season 1, the cast of characters includes Nick Kyrgios (a "bad boy" from the Land Down Under), Matteo Berrettini (an Italian stallion with high ambitions and an equally successful girlfriend, Ajla Tomljanovic) Taylor Fritz (a So-Cal native who overcomes injury to out Nadal in the Indian Wells championship), Paula Badosa (a Spanish model dealing with mental health issues), Ons Jabeur (a Tunisian standout representing an entire continent), and Felix Auger-Aliassime (a Montreal-based wunderkind who just might be the next great). We focus on a few primary themes: namely, the emergence of mental health crises and the perils of neuroses in the sport. This leads us into a fascinating discussion about the inherent pressures of tennis, the grueling attrition of playing year-round on the pro circuit, the attrition of mental fortitude due to the overwhelming speed of the game, the isolated vulnerability of playing a singles tournament, and the relativistic medley of psychological approaches and philosophies deployed by the various teams in hopes of curbing negative thoughts before they spiral into destructive self-sabotage on the court. We also debate who we think might be the next poster child for tennis as the Big Three (Nadal, Federer, Djokovic) begin to retire or suffer from the law of diminishing returns with age. Enjoy!

With the clay court season coming to an end, they guys take a look back over the last several weeks and discuss how the clay season shaped up! At the start of the clay season, the talk was about the Big 3 on the women's side and then a lot more parity on the men's side with no Nadal throughout the swing, Novak being hampered by an injury throughout the clay season and Alcaraz looking like the best player in the world. This year's clay season really did deliver between the lines, but for the viewer, it was a bit tough to follow. Wimbledon is right around the corner. As the grass court season gets under way, we prepare for a fun few weeks on some perfectly manicured grass!

MARK WOODFORDE ON NOVAK DJOKOVIC'S PLACE IN HISTORY - ‘For me that's the tie-break between the trio, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, the amount of Grand Slams and they all deserve to have that title, the greatest of all-time, but he has elevated himself alone finally. He was the third person in this group, so it has been a tremendous journey until now where he's in the clear'.MARK WOODFORDE ON CASPER RUUD - ‘He's the one that's won the most clay court matches recently, the most clay court tournaments and he's learnt from losing to Nadal last year and if Novak wasn't here this year, along with Nadal's absence, the Norwegian could have been lifting the trophy'.LUCIE AHL ON THE DJOKOVIC v ALCARAZ MATCH - ‘It was an unbelievable two sets and I think Djokovic would have admitted that physically he was struggling after two sets and I didn't expect that to happen to Alcaraz, so I think we're going to remember that Alcaraz cramped and forget what happened in the first two sets and also perhaps forget that we should never write off Djokovic'.ALEX CORRETJA ON CARLOS ALCARAZ'S PARENTS - 'They educated him in a way that he feels like he's not more important than anyone else and they also let the coaches do their job and I think this is very important and of course, I think this is very important, they tell him everyday how important it is to be grateful to people and to be well educated'.ROLAND GARROS DOUBLES CHAMPION AUSTIN KRAJICEK ON PARIS - ‘Paris is now officially my favourite city and continues to deliver, so I would absolutely say it's my favourite place to play at the moment and it's just an amazing venue. I really have a good feeling here in Paris and we like to play on clay and it suits our game well and I think we've been playing some good stuff'.- Podcast presented by Chris Bowers- Podcast guests Mark Woodforde and Lucie Ahl- Interviews by Chris Bowers
