I knew it was going to be an offenisve explosion between the 11-4 Chicago Bears and the 11-4 San Francisco 49ers and neither team disappointed. Both teams matching each other score for score in a thrilling 42-38 victory for the 49ers. Brock Purdy was the best player on the field with 5 touchdowns while Christian McCaffrey chipped in with 181 total yards and a TD of his own. A pivotal win for the Niners which sets up a showdown with hated rival Seattle on Saturday night for not only the NFC West title, but also the 1 seed in the NFC playoffs!

The 2025 NFL season is 17 weeks old and with the playoffs right around the corner, a few playoff seedings and spots are still up for grabs. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Chicago Bears in an offensive shootout to keep their hopes of the NFC's #1 seed alive. Brock Purdy and Caleb Williams traded punches throughout Sunday evening until the 49ers defense stood tall.
