Professor Elizabeth Eakin is Head of School of the School of Public Health, University of Queensland. She is a behavioural scientist who's work focuses on interventions in chronic disease prevention and management. She sat down with me to talk about her research, her career journey and some lessons learned along the way.

Hayley is the founder and CEO of ThriveHire, a curated job board for those looking to build a career in global health. She built the company with a strong team, including Program Officer, Annalise Mathers. Associate Professor Lisa Whop is an epidemiologist, leading research into cervical cancer control in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. She shares her important research and career lessons with us here.

Dr Naveen Thacker is a pediatrician, and internationally recognised expert in vaccination. He played a key role in Polio eradication in India and is now working to fight misinformation online. He shares here, lessons from his career as well as the importance of looking after ourselves!

Associate Professor Melissa Kang is a passionate public health academic, medical doctor and an advocate. Her research focuses on young people, in particular access to health care and young people’s sexuality and sexual health.

Dr Robin Miller is the Deputy Director of the Health Services Management Centre, University of Birmingham. His main research focus is evaluating and learning from change initiatives.

Dr Chatu Yapa trained as a medical doctor and worked in New Zealand and Australia before joining Medecins sans Frontieres in 2012. She has since completed the Australian Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP)/MAE program and is currently enrolled in a PhD at the Research School of Population Health, ANU.
